The car I bought was in amazing condition, clean title, service/mechanic records, good miles, and I think it was the cheapest car they were selling at the time @ only 6k. So that goes to show the kind of service and quality you can expect from them on their other vehicles too. I would buy another car from them anytime but I don't think I'll have the opportunity as this one is going to last me a long, long time! (ALSO - they are a legitimate dealer/broker so they handled ALL of the DMV and state paperwork for me so I didn't even have to go there at all. Huge plus especially in LA during covid times..)

I was looking for a specific vehicle for quite awhile. I found the vehicle for sale at Auto City in Alhambra, CA. I contacted Irina about the vehicle and she gave me all the details over the phone and then sent some very specific information for me to review. I got a great feeling from dealing with her and placed a deposit on the vehicle over the phone. I flew into LAX and took a cab to the dealership and met with Irina and Danny. What great people. Could not have met Danny at a better time. I needed to buy a new car quick. I was already stressed and anxious about dealing with the whole process. Where do I start, this was the best and easiest transaction for a car I have ever had. Irina was awesome, she was always very responsive and kind. I came from an hour and half just to purchase this vehicle and she made things so easy. All the paperwork and pictures and video calls where all done before hand so I didn't have to make multiple trips. She always responded quickly. They took my trade in no problem. Trying to search around to sell my car with a better price, so I found this dealership in my living area, I provided the appraisal that I got from Carmax, but they can offer $500 more to take my car, this is incredible and their customer service was great and very honest. Unfortunately there were technical problems at the dealership that ended up making us spend 4 hours there, but that was beyond Shawn's control. Shawn did stay in contact with us throughout the process to ensure that the dealer addressed our concerns and was extremely helpful in guiding us through the entire process. He was even able to get us better financing at the dealership on a CPO car than my own credit union was able to provide! But I recently got a new-to-me Honda and wanted to get the CVT fluid changed since I don't know when it was last changed. I called Goudy for a price on this service, and it was quite reasonable. Of course I could probably do it myself for a lot cheaper, but I hadn't had a chance to know my car well enough to take on this job. Since they were a block away from me, I thought I'd give them a try. It was my first time using Goudy and Daniel Tieu was the first service advisor who assisted me. Fortunately I remember reading a positive review about him somewhere on Yelp or Google reviews, so that was reassuring. The service was timely and Daniel said everything checked out okay on their multipoint inspection (brakes, battery, tires, etc.) and didn't try to sell me on any other service. We all know that the car repair industry has a bad reputation for upselling or insisting that something needs to be fixed now or else it's going to catastrophically fail the moment you leave the shop. My experience on my first visit was a positive one. While I might have paid a bit more compared to an indie shop, I know I got genuine Honda parts and their techs are well versed on Honda maintenance and I assume know what they're doing. (I know that's not always the case, as I've heard about bad dealer service experience). I should also note that they have a nice waiting area. Nothing fancy, as in no fancy coffees or pastries. Just a quiet area (at least when I was there) away from the sales floor. I could have walked home, but I decided to stick around and read a book I had with me. It wasn't long when I got a call that my car was ready.

I asked repeatedly whether it was not a good idea to buy the car. The salesman and manager knew well that the risk was the battery but no one chose to educate me. I am an older woman who has driven Accords for 40 years and they didn't have the decency to tell me that the battery was going to die. I bought a very nice Accord at Pasadena Honda and both the sales and financial office were great.

Overall it was a bust and repairing it wasn't worth it but I appreciated the honesty and thorough evaluation. The garage itself has access through the alley, street entrance is pretty busy. We communicated via text and phone but during drop off and pick up the main guy wasn't around. He shares the garage with someone else and that person helped us when the main guy wasn't there (sorry I can't remember his name). He provided the exact service I needed in very competitive timing. While other places quoted me $300+ and 3ish hours for getting a Pre-Purchase Inspection. He did it in 45 minutes, $250, ran the diagnostic perfectly, found everything that needed to be fixed. The dealership rep tried to steer Jeff away from the problems and made excuses for everything but Jeff didn't buy it and told it to me exactly how it is. When I arrived, the car attendant told me there was no appointment scheduled for my vehicle. I explained that I had received text message confirmations and reminders, but he seemed skeptical and even asked to see my app, like he didn't believe me. That didn't sit right with me, I didn't just show up randomly, I had proof of my appointment. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told there wasn't one available because it was the weekend. That was surprising to me, I feel like there should always be a manager on site, especially to handle situations like this. Instead, he said he would get a service advisor to help me. That's when Eric came out, and honestly, he completely turned the experience around. I showed him the same text messages, and without questioning me or making things difficult, he immediately took care of everything. He got my car checked in right away, arranged a ride home, and made the whole process smooth and efficient. Technology issues happen, and I understand mistakes can be made but how they're handled matters. Eric handled it perfectly. What started off as a frustrating situation turned into a great experience because of him. I've been coming here for years and have seen a lot of staff come and go, but employees like Eric make a big difference. If I were management, I'd make sure to keep him he's a huge asset.

Was looking for a Mercedes s550.. couldnt find a deal anywhere.. i drove by this vacant lot... i notice it had only 2 cars.. and one was a black s550.. the other was like a camry... this looked like a shady place but to my surprise he was just wanting to get rid of the cars and bring in new inventory.. the guys name is daniel or something... he gave me the perfect price and was able to drive off the lot the next day.. thanks auto city! read more

What can I say about these guys. I got a helluva lease deal by going with them. Didn't believe it when my friend told me that AC can get a better deal than even the retail sales guys at the dealership but low and behold, they beat it saving me nearly $100 a month on my lease.
