He was very upfront and honest the entire time. I had an appointment to test drive a Nissan Leaf but then I found out it was all electric, so the owner directed my attention to a Fiat 500 that was awfully nice. I took it for a test drive and it road extremely well,held very good to the road. When I got back to his shop I told him he didn't have to twist my arm that I wanted to buy it. The price was great and the mileage was just a tad bit over 50,000 miles. The car was a 2016. I really couldn't have asked for a better bargain. My wife and I were looking for an older model Volvo to replace a vehicle that had died. We went to several car lots out in SF Valley and scoured Craigslist for a reasonably priced vehicle. Our experience at the other lots is what we expected from the stereotypical car salesperson. Our experience with Shant was very different. He was honest and transparent throughout the transaction. He thought his mechanic had smogged the car before we drove it off, but when I went to register it the smog wasn't in the system. Shant checked with his mechanic and somehow it hadn't been done. He had me drive it right over and had it done immediately while I waited free of charge. He gave us an honest deal on the car with good service. Beware of this car dealership. Shanti or whatever his name is will treat you as if your money is not meaningful to his business. This guy is so unprofessional it doesn't make any sense. Poor business practices and doesn't follow up on conversations when he says he's going to call you back. He will hang up in your face and disregard you as a consumer. If I can give this place zero Stars I would. I'm from the Bay Area so I was looking to close the deal via phone with a pre approval from my local credit union. So this was an easy transaction for the right business man you would think right???? I called the Rose city auto sales and we set up a deal. He gave me an offer which I accepted it. He even went as far as sending me the purchase agreement via email. I reviewed it, sent it to my credit union and got back to him ready to seal the deal. He said he would call me back after he was done dealing with another customer and he never did. I waited approximately 3 days to see if he would call back. After not hearing from him after he took all of my valuable information i decided to follow up with him. How unethical is that. Once I got in touch with this guy he answered the phone and said oh I'm busy right now and hung up on me.His excuse was that he was holding his infant daughter and couldn't talk at the moment. What??? This guy is arrogant and incompetent. He displayed so many red flags , I should've ran with my 30k check. These are poor business practices and I would never recommend him to nobody. This type of establishment should not be in business. He never once made me feel comfortable about the transaction. It almost felt like a scam because he took my driver's license photo copy my information and he never delivered. Do not and I mean do not do business with these people they are scam artists and act like they dont need your business. I will be reporting them to every platform possible to save us consumers from dealing with "Shanri" and his team of vultures. read more
