I just called in needing some of my initial paperwork of sale date to be emailed to me asap. Some loser answered the phone in a very aggressive manner not even introducing himself. I asked for Edward and he just said "he's not here." He said he'd be in later but when I asked for a time frame he began becoming irate and said "I don't know he will get here when he gets here." I asked if he could send my paperwork but he stated he can't access the system in which he makes his OWN sales on. I told him it was urgent because I am getting charged for tickets that are dated before I even purchased the car and need it for the DMV. He then stated "I don't know what you want me to do" which is very unprofessional. I became irate as well and told this idiot to stop being a "d*ck" thus having him call me an "a**hole" and hang up. I called back again asking why he hung up on me and what's his problem? He then started threatening me and saying "I'm right here buddy" as if he wanted to fight me. I asked him for his name but he wouldn't give it to me until about 7 times of me asking. His reply was something like "what are you gonna do with my name? Wipe your a** with it? I live in Oxnard, not Pasadena... Everybody is tough over the phone until it's time to meet in person! We got into an argument over the phone which he hung up AGAIN! I had to call back about 10 times without him answering before he finally answered and said he notified Edward and he will be reaching out to me. I told him "Thanks you piece of sh*t" and hung up on him this time. All in all this review is for anyone who buys from here to AVOID this loser Rafi and please support EDWARD ONLY! It's not hard to be polite and answer customers questions. All he had to do was give me a time frame instead of being mad at his own life and taking it out on other people. bought a car in August. Have driven it less than 5 thousand miles. It has a blown gasket from overheating. I bought this car "AS IS" so the issue is mine and I will take responsibility for fixing. If this problem was known and not disclosed at the time of purchase shame on United Auto as this shows very poor business ethics I asked if there were any known issues and was told no if it was not know to United Auto than shame on the previous owners for their dishonesty. The overheating problem has been going on for longer than I have owned the car, yet I am paying the price for fixing it. At this time, I would not ever consider buying a car from United again. The car is being repaired. There is a question about the history, abuse and upkeep of the car. What angers me is that someone knew the real condition of this car when it was sold to me putting my family and me at risk. Think if you would like that to happen to you. They didn't have any service history for the car, and I asked if I could have it checked at the dealership, and if it wasn't done, discount the cost of the service from the asking price, which was at the high end of a car of that year and model. I wanted to rate one star. Bought a used 2005 BMW 325i, I paid in cash. Once I purchased it I wanted a refund. Edward ( the dealer salesman ) called his father and they declined. This was upsetting to me, since once I signed the papers and handed over the cash buyers remorse hit me hard. Why did I rate 5 stars? It's becasue if I remove myself from the equation I guess it was just business and not personal. What I appreciated is how Edward made me feel like he really did care about my feelings and wanted to help out by reassuring me if I need anything to contact him. One thing I can tell you is that he will always pick up, and set some time for you. I needed a new remote, windshield wipers, and the grill fixed. He scheduled some time the very next week and took care of all of the repairs. Again, these were all things that were not functioning when I drove the car of the lot. I just really appreciate thier communication and how after selling the car they're still "here for me" I will be returning shortly to get some body work done, since I bought the car with a few scratches and dents. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Came there from out of town on very limited time looking to buy their 07 Mini Cooper S from them. Edward showed me the car, and at first I was pleased. Nice interior, exterior is beautiful. Things are looking good. Within first few minutes of looking at the car noticed oil leakage - he seemed to act as if he didn't know about it and went on to say how gasket wear is normal. Was told I could take for an inspection, but must be within city limits where there are conveniently no BMW/Mini dealers(they're one city away), no exception. Being not from the area, I asked if there is a shop he could recommend to me - his response was "Ha, you really want me to recommend a place for you?" and every time I seemed to question something about the car he didn't even try to convince me it was okay, would just say that I don't have to buy the car if I don't want to. I should have stopped there. Took me to the closest mechanic who is probably his good friend, spoke amongst themselves in a different language. Although they seemed kind of shady to me, I gave the car a good look myself and from my basic knowledge the suspension, undercarriage, interior and just about everything seemed fine on the car. I just saw some oil leakage and figured maybe it'll just be a valve cover or something. Also I'm on a time crunch and budget renting a car for the past few weeks, and really wanted to purchase based on the very good looks of the car I observed. I was convinced the only thing I would need to do is fix an oil leak - Edward agreed with me and even brought the price down $200 for this. He told me several times that the car is well maintained, serviced, and the previous owner must have babied it. Keep in mind - I am VERY aware that buying a car used, as is, is agreeing to purchase it just like that....as is. But you'd expect some type of honesty when dealing with a professional business. Come to find out after purchasing the car - the 2 or 3 hundred dollar oil leak turns into over $2,000 in repairs. Have been going to a trusted mechanic for 6+ years who specializes in European cars, and the price quoted for the amount of repairs/labor was actually very reasonable. I also asked for some detailing work and other extra things for my own satisfaction, such bringing me to about $2800. But expecting not much to be wrong with this car but a small leak, you can understand my frustration. I was so happy that I was under my 10k budget walking out of this dealership, only to hear bad news a few days later. Car needs new brake fluid, has a leaking oil pump and oil pan (these two cost most of the repair), 1 bad motor mount that was vibrating, needs a new drive belt (probably the sound I was hearing that they assured me is normal), spark plugs need replacing, cabin and air filter are filthy, and battery is low on charge. Being as I'm very limited on time, I had my mechanic fixing the issues next day so I can get to work and ditch the rental car. Edward says only way they can compensate me in any way is go to their mechanic and they will maybe pay a portion of the cost....not an option since I'm 50+ miles away with a full time job and don't necessarily trust them already. Tries to say none of these problems are that bad and that none of them are necessary repairs, even though engine bay has plenty oil leak visible. Edward says then that there's absolutely nothing they can do for me since I'm already having it worked on by someone else. Should have gone with my girlfriend and I's gut instinct - we were getting weird vibes from Edward from the beginning and now we know why. So the list price $7,600 Mini I bought which was "discounted", is now costing about $10,000. For that amount I could have gone elsewhere, where they'd be honest and actually let me take to a Mini/BMW certified mechanic to look at it. Don't go to this shop - they just want someone who will pay and not argue with them. If you bring up any concerns, they basically don't care to answer them. Luckily besides the engine - shape of the car was excellent. Interior is almost like new, paint and body are perfect. Hopefully when I get my car back tomorrow it will be in tip top shape, and I can maintain better than the previous owners. Thanks again Edward, not very happy but I appreciate your time. read more

I got a nightmare, I've had my car for a year now and it's only ran right for about a week and I would have paid the car off for what I spent in repairs. The mechanic told me nothing was wrong with the car but less than a week later hoses on the engine started going out, the motor mounts $800, Then AC compressor $650, the fuel pump $500, coils $400, clutch and master cylinder $2600, More hoses $300 fuel injectors $1000, valve job $600, sunroof $120 the car a a clear carfax report but had been in more that one accident need new tires and rims as the tires the car came with were not safe to drive on and all the rim are knocked out of true another $1000. This is the most amazing group! I bought a 2003 BMW 325i, which I love! Edward made the process seamless and I went home with my car the same day. Fast forward...the car ran well but later on I took my car into a BMW mechanic in my area cause a light on. It became one thing after another. They ended up tearing my engine apart and my warranty claim was denied and then wanted to charge me thousands to put it back together. I called Edward at the United Auto Group! He and his team took over and towed my car to their mechanic and put it back together and got the warranty to cover the most of it! They were awesome! That all sounds nice and politically correct. But the facts are you have a car on your lot that the AC didn't and told me it was fused and wouldn't have purchased it in the first place. Drove off the lot stopped working. I paid for a three car day rental out of my pocket and after making the biggest deal about it your dad finally said yes most likely to stop me from asking. The fact is I would of never bought the car if the AC didn't work. You said it was fixed and your dad is the mechanic and was ghee with the purchase of the car. I don't want to write a 10 page paper on this how much you tried to help. You sold a car that didn't work as agreed made us pay for the rental which any business should more than do. Especially since we drove 50 miles to get there a big inconvenience going back and forth. I will give you that you were nice but all the niceness in the world doesn't help when your taken advantage of. By the way, the reason it was taking so long was because your dad was having trouble figuring out what was wrong with the ac. So that's why it took so long and cist me more money, he didn't give a day rent because of your reasoning you put down. But if I was reading your review you do sound convincing, but The FACTS are that the car should have been sold to me in that condition then I get the headache of doing all the work and you write out about how much you tried to helping.
