I want to give a huge thank you to Henry and Hayk for making my car-buying experience so easy and enjoyable! From the very beginning, they were friendly, honest, professional, and never made me feel pressured. Henry was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process, and Hayk made sure everything went smoothly from start to finish. I originally came in looking at a different car, but after Henry showed me the BMW X5, I completely changed my mind -- and I'm so happy I did! Thank you both for your patience, great attitude, and amazing customer service. I truly appreciate it and would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a car! read more

Phenomenal Experience at Car City! I cannot say enough great things about my experience at Car City. From start to finish, Henry and Hayk provided a level of customer service that was truly exceptional. I initially visited the dealership to look at a vehicle I had found online. While it was a nice car, there were a few features I really wanted that it didn't have. Rather than trying to pressure me into making a purchase, Henry and Hayk were completely honest and advised me to wait. They told me that if those features were important to me, I likely wouldn't be happy settling for less, and they offered to help find the right vehicle instead. Throughout my search, Hayk was incredibly knowledgeable, especially regarding the BMW i3 I was considering. I had been searching for the right vehicle for several months and visited the dealership multiple times each week. Every visit was met with the same level of attentiveness, professionalism, and genuine willingness to help. Although I had initially considered settling for a BMW i3 to keep my expenses lower, my dream vehicle was a Hyundai Ioniq 5. Hayk never gave up on helping me find one. He ultimately located the exact Ioniq 5 I wanted at an outstanding price, had it brought to the dealership that same evening, and prepared it for delivery. The team even replaced the tires and thoroughly detailed the vehicle before I picked it up. This was honestly one of the easiest and most enjoyable car-buying experiences I've ever had. Having owned several luxury vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, BMW, and Porsche, I've worked with many dealerships over the years, and I can confidently say that the service I received at Car City surpassed them all. What stood out most was that Henry and Hayk treated me like family. At every step, I genuinely felt they had my best interests in mind and wanted to help me make the right decision--not simply make a sale. If you're looking for a quality used vehicle and want an honest, stress-free buying experience, I highly recommend Car City. The level of customer service, integrity, and dedication they provide is second to none. Thank you to Henry, Hayk, and the entire Car City team for making this such a memorable experience. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. read more

My wife and I had a great experience working with Hayk and Henry when purchasing our 2018 BMW i3. We were looking for that car specifically and they had the color style we liked, test drove it and talked over the deal without any hard selling techniques. They priced it fairly ($9k) and we agreed to that price after they offered to replace missing little bits (frunk box, trunk cover), get the A/C checked, and replace two tires that were worn down. They found the A/C compressor had failed and replaced it for us before purchase. The sale was no stress (we paid cash so considerably easier than loan sale obvs) but still nice and efficient. We had a 12v battery issue after a couple weeks and Hayk offered to deal with it if we brought it back, they swapped the batter for us no charge and we've had no issues since. read more

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I bought a car January 16th 2026 approximately 3 months ago I was looking for something reliable and financially responsible. I am just 19 years old. I made the mistake of not buying a fix finder tool and lacking vehicle knowledge. I bought a Nissian 2017 Sentra SV and had the following codes on my vehicle P0420,P0420, and P17F4 involving the catalytic converter and the transmission. I became instantly heartbroken seeing as I put a down payment of 3,500 and the car is 8,000. I was trying to be financially responsible and get something a little cheaper while upgrading from my 2007 Toyota Corolla which I have never had any mechanical issues with. The check engine light came on February 18th 2026 and I bought the car from car city on January 16th 2026 what a coincidence right? Exactly 1,000 miles and 32 days later. I go back to car city explaining to them the codes and they say it's probably a sensory issue within the vehicle. I cannot afford a maybe. They continue to brush me off because I am a young woman who is in college. They will not take the vehicle back I even offered them a trade in and that I will get something better and more expensive. Still no accommodations therefore now I am stuck owing 4,000 dollars left on a car I have to get some type of money for and still pay the remaining out of my pocket. I do not recommend their business!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL AND IN IT FOR THEMSELVES They took advantage of me completely and seeing as this is my first time buying a car or making such a big purchase. I will never again walk blindly and I recommend getting a "fix finder tool" and the most expensive one when buying a used car and take it to the nearest dealership right after buying it the same day preferably and see if it has any issues. And if so, you have some degree of warranty within the first 30 days and 1,000 miles. Exactly why my check engine light turned on after exactly 1,000 miles and 32 days of having the vehicle. AT THE END OF THE DAY KNOW YOUR WORTH!!! And never ever trust a car company only interested in their own gain. People are truly cruel. read more

The worst place I've visited. The russian guy who works there is a scammer. Always offered to work behind his boss. Also they sold me a broken car. APR is 25% for 5 years. And the car price was higher than other places. But they didn't care about your papers. I had them but they said they didn't need them. So if you need an overpriced car without any papers you can come here and become a slave for 5 years. read more

Hassle Free, Honest, Friendly and Efficient! I am always hesitant about used car lots after a bad experience but Car City changed my mind. We bought a Lexus at $5k below KBB and $7k below the Lexus dealer. The cherry on top the interest rate. The dealer was at 19% after running my credit multiple times. Car City gave me an interest rate of 5%. Dont hesitate. They can be trusted. read more

They are notorious for reselling lemon or broken down crap cars. They are also notorious for sticking it those with low credit with high APR. we are talking 60% APR with 7 year loans. I don't know how they sleep at nights ripping the poor and the dumb. Worst of all they roll back the miles to stick it even more. They will do Micky mouse touch up to make the car look good. My advice ask them to open the engine. Look for the details you'll see what I'm talking about. You're better off going to Carmax then dealing with these idiots. read more

If you want to get scammed this is the place to go. This company does not care about anything else other than lying to you and risking business for a little extra money. They were caught and I'm sure they were expecting a review for being pathetic liars. From my understanding a dealer that is selling a vehicle with structural damage needs to disclose this information to you. In our case they did not disclose this information and yet sold us the vehicle. Without hesitation we went back in the next day and told them we want our money back. Without them trying to hustle out of the situation they simply gave our money back. Screw your lying staff and shame on you guys. read more

Okay. Went to check out a car they had listed today. Went on the lot looking for the particular vehicle with no luck. Meanwhile the three people working there went about their business. Not finding the car I came for, I opened another vehicle and checked it out. I then went into the sales office and everyone was going about their business. I guess they don't sell cars here. I don't particularly adhere to the "Vant Help Ask" attitude here. If they treat a prospect with such lack of interest I can only imagine how charming they must be if you buy a car from them and then have a complaint! God save you! read more

I saw the car I was looking thru cars.com and it lead me to Robert from Car City in Glendale Los Angeles, CA. I booked a one-way flight from the Bay Area and when I got to SFO, Virgin America said my flight did not go thru. Robert got the paperwork done in quick so I can hit the road for my 6hr. drive back to the Bay. Friendly and fast service, approved in minutes. Thanks for everything Car City! read more

This guy WILL sell you a lemon proudly and unapologetically & blatantly lie about it. and then when you ask him to fix what's wrong with the car (the way he promised if there was anything wrong), he'll say you did it or pretend to start doing something about it but fail to ever follow up. run as far away as possible and don't look back. just completely awful. read more

If you want to get ripped and burn your money and involve with junkyards...!!!! PLEASE visit this place and buy a car which will have transmission problems after few months (before 1 year or sooner) and you are welcome for CONTRACT SCAMMING. By walking to this wicked place, you will hear the nicest and the greatest conversation and explanations , which means they are getting you prepared for get scammed. This is not recent but VERY HELPFUL for people who want to know about these scammers. I walked to this place and they found me a car through an auction in east coast, for total price of $20,000 , and I payed $12,000 down to purchase this used car and the down included the transportation fee. I have received the car and they inspected it and they said it needs very minor fixing such as door handle electric and side mirror. They DID NOT LET ME TAKE THE CAR TO MY MECHANIC !!!!! They said If I want to take the car to my mechanic, It means I am buying the car as is and they have no responsibility if I bring the car back for return or for any mechanical problem!!! And they said they inspected the car is running 100% Ok. Long story short, I took the car out and the car didn't last for more than 8 months because of OIL STARVATION!!! And yes.... Engine needed to be replaced!!! Beside that, I have found out that they have scammed me on the contract for $6,000!!! By the time I was buying the car, I was very unacknowledged about contracts and was not good in English, so they took advantage and tried to make more money. In fact they have charged me $600 for inspection and the MINOR fixing! And This guy ALEX (Scammer) said I am just making very small amount of profit from you and I just want to help you (YOU RIGHT). The car value was $20,000 but I didn't understand how it became $26,700 on the contract???? Plus I have applied for loan for the rest $10,000 on the car value with the high interest rate of 20% !! They kind of own and are friend with the loan company, and they do whatever they want. Mr Alex, please don't be sorry and apologize and make scenarios that you are very sad for what happened from people who you scammed, be ashamed and stop this WICKED GAME! Steal as much as you want, but be aware that you will pay back anyway. read more

Obviously the positive reviews on here are fake or were not revised after their car broke down. This dealer welded the oil pick up tube in my car, instead of installing a $200 part. Just bought my first BMW from here. I was looking for a car with high gas mileage. They offered me to choose between a Prius and BMW i3. I have never even considered an i3. I was approved for a low interest rate loan too. Just a good experience overall. read more

As of today i got my 3rd car from alex ! As i read the other reviews i think to myself "ok now" i have never had a bad experience with carcity and i dont have the best credit out their and alex and ashot have always helped me out in every way possible, they are nice , understanding and kind...... they understood my needs and wants and understood that credit was a problem and i also needed lowest possible payments(as far as payments go its up to the loan bank NOT THEM) As far as the cars i had a VW CC (3 years no problem) traided in for a MBZ ML and now side car TOYOTA and so far i have had no problems with my cars they are used cars so if anything happens it happens thats the risks i knew when i was buying!!!!! Now this is only my opinion and this is how i feel Thank you carcity for always being their when a person like me( so so credit) needs a car read more

Alex was awesome! I went to multiple different sources to try and sell my car, Carmax, Vroom, Carvana, but they all were offering less then what the market was. Alex gave me an honest price and was able to beat all quotes with no negotiating needed. Oh, and he didn't just beat the quotes by a few hundred dollars. The paperwork was also a breeze! The whole process took 10 minutes and I was out of there with the check in my hand! On the contrary, it took over an hour just to get my car appraised at Carmax! I highly recommend Alex and Car City for anyone looking to sell or buy a used car! Thanks again for the superior service! read more

This dealer/business is a scammers dream dealership business. However for the average customer who is looking for a great deal on a car, this place is an absolute nightmare. Yelp should offer to seriously have a 0 star rating because if they did I would give it 0 stars. These guys are in the loan sharking business. As a finance professional, I would love to have a field day discussing rates and how they verbally quote prices and then change the numbers on contracts to scam buyers. Also they will make sure to do anything to lie to keep you at an 18% financing rate. My father in law got scammed by these guys but they can't fool me. They had quoted him a car for $18,600 but in the contract the sales price was $22,400. They then charged a ridiculous 18% finance rate and told him they can refinance to 3% once his credit improved in 6 months. 6 months later they gave him a BS excuse about why they can't do it. I went in to talk to Alex myself to refinance the loan and realized who this guy really is. I wanted to refinance the loan with my name and my father in laws as well and to run my credit. I assured that the dmv will allow me to transfer ownership as a co-owner once I refinance. He gave me a spiel about how I have to buy the car again and pay sales tax to own it. Long story short. Avoid this place! I will make sure to have my attorney look into this as I am very certain they have many lawsuits. I refinanced my father in laws loan for 1.49% which Alex asserted I cannot get. The monthly payments went from $480 to $246. And that's how much the scam difference was for. Word of advice: bad business practices and bad business ethics will only benefit a business monetarily in the short run; eventually, taking into perspective all other aspects of a business it is a complete and utter failure. Just like all great scams it catches up to you. I suggest you choose another profession. Oh and I'm sure you've heard from BBB already but one more complaint won't hurt right? read more

This is a scam business, they try to strip your money and let you sign as much paperwork as you can to cover their scam. totally unhappy ... you think you made friends when you step out but they are NOT ... we agreed on $18,000 and they wrote the contract for $21,000 claiming that the $3,000 is a bank fee in order for the bank to loan me ... that's aside from the 18.95% interest rate that they provided. Think again and don't get fooled like so many others did. read more

Today my husband and I had the absolute pleasure of buying a car from Alex and his team. The whole experience was a complete breeze. We picked the car we wanted and ran the numbers. Our credit is "challenging" (as they so politely put it. In my own words it's AWFUL) and that was no hold up. Yes we are at a higher interest rate than someone with great credit but I made my credit decision and it's time to pay the piper. Everyone was very friendly. We started the process weeks ago with Edgar. I wasn't sure I wanted a car payment. Haha. Thank you so much Car City for a very smooth transaction and the perfect car! OVERPRICED AND SELLS BROKEN CARS. LOW BALLS TRADE IN!! BUYER BEWARE!! 1. Cars overpriced. Compare their prices with local dealers. They are priced way higher and not justifiable. 2. Scam tactics: display price on car is way higher than online listing. Easy way for them to say they are giving you the online discount. Obvious scam. The salesman who works here pulled this exact scam on me. Tried to get me to pay full then pulled the online special scam tactic. 3. Sells broken cars I had a friend recommend me to this place. I was shopping for a Mercedes and saw this car had one listed on their website. This dealer prices their cars way higher than competitors but I decided to give them a chance. I asked for prior vehicle history and the salesman told me it was perfect. He got me into the office and showed me the Carfax, listed with an accident. LIED to get me into the office and LIED about the condition of the car. 4. I spoke of a trade-in before we sat down. The salesman offered me 1,000 for a car that was valued at 4K, at CalStar Mercedes Benz, and 6k retail. Nice way to cheat your customers. NEVER BUY YOUR CAR FROM HERE!!! read more
