This is my second review in 6 months. I had purchased a 2014 CLS 550 from Eddie at Radical Auto and the experience was awesome. I loved the car but unfortunately I was struck from behind on the I5 and my insurance company ruled it a total loss. I was a bit depressed as I loved my white 2014 CLS 550. I had such a good experience (see my previous review) with Eddie and Radical Auto that I thought let me check their web site to see if they happen to have another low mileage Mercedes CLS 550 and if they didn't, I could always ask if they could find me one. Sure enough they had a 2012 CLS 550 with under 34K miles. I reached out to Eddie and asked him if I could see it the next day. I saw the car in the pictures and it looked great but I thought when I saw it in person, I may find a few blemishes. I was wrong, the car was nicer in person than in the pictures. I asked Eddie about the rims as they were flawless but in the pictures they had rim rash. He told me that they fix all.of that before they sell the cars. Eddie had previously educated me on financing so that was a breeze. On the previous car, I had bought a 3 year warranty but only had the car for 6 months. Eddie contacted the warranty company for me and processed the refund for the balance. In my previous review I mentioned how Radical Auto doesn't participate in some of the same tactics that other dealers in the area do such as adding andatory LoJack and window etching which causes the buyer to pay several thousand dollars more then the price they saw online. I also mentioned that I would absolutely recommend them to my family and friends. Well I also recommend them to myself as this is my second purchase with Radical Auto. I have to fight LA traffic between 90 minutes and 2 hours to get to Radical auto from my house in Orange County but that is not a detterant when I know the experience is worth it. Want a great experience buying a used luxury car from an honest dealership that knows their $h!t? See Eddie at Radical Auto and you will be glad you did. So, I'll be honest... My credit is terrible... HOWEVER, they LITERALLY have a sign that says GUARANTEED APPROVAL... No small or fine print saying anything about a certain credit, simply... GUARANTEED APPROVAL which I was NOT approved. Although I read that a child was approved with no co-signer or money down right out of high school. Yet they wanted $10k on a $20k car Although the woman Kenia was "nice" she didn't really live up to her "helpfulness" as she did with others that posted saying how they had not do great credit but that she worked so HARD for them to get them their cars with little to no money down and the only difference I see between all of the people that she helped and worked so hard for and me is that I'm black. One of the guys saw us walk on the lot and walked back indoors. Didn't even greet us. I just drove out of their lot with my new car - a 2014 Mazda 2, after about a month of exceedingly frustrating search and I feel like this experience changed the way I will look at car buying forever. First of all -- No one enjoys getting a car, and especially if you're like me and are looking for a solid used commuter car under 10k, you know that if a deal it's too good to be true... it isn't. And let's be real a lot of the stress of buying a car comes from dealing with car salesmen. Pushy, sketchy, gregarious, standoffish, sexist -- I met one of every flavor while searching for a replacement for my faithful 2005 Altima. I hadn't given up hope per se but I had started looking at taking on a lease. Until I found the Mazda on www.carfax.com, and got a simple, informative text from Kenia (the manager at Radical Auto.) She was knowledgeable, responsive and accommodating. And when i met her the next day for my test drive, she revealed to me the most shocking - and most relevant - detail about Radical. All the salesmen are... saleswomen. You have no idea what relief went through me. Honestly It was both refreshing and kind of stunning. There was no sales pitch other than agreeing with me that the front tires were worn out, which Kenia immediately promised they'd replace. No surprises during the test drive, no overselling, easy conversation, upfront shop talk about the car and what they could do for me. She didn't press me to drive another car, she didn't try to stop me from leaving or any of the other tricks I had to deal with. She was confident and knew their product spoke for itself. I left to do my third test drive or the day, and the very stark contrast with the man at the other dealership cemented my resolution to get the Mazda at Radical. I texted Kenia -- no calls, no overbearing follow up, or emails -- just a quick text. She got back to me very quickly and said she ordered the tires and car would be ready Friday. Took my deposit via phone, with my credit card, and this morning she texted me the car was ready! Boom! I went in, everything she said she'd do to it was done, and I drove away feeling better than I had felt in months - since my accident, at least. I can't believe I lucked into finding an all-women dealership but I will recommend it to everyone, especially some of my girl friends who have had similar unpleasant experiences with other places.
