They were very busy so I didn't get checked on, which happens a lot when you dine alone. I would have liked more tea and another biscuit. The service wasn't worth a flying fart. They're very slow maybe they're understaffed. The kitchen was keeping up fine, but they did not have enough servers And both nights my drink glass and my water glass went dry. I usually hold the water in reserve in case I run out of soda. Both nights I ran out of soda. The same restaurant has breakfast in the morning. In the morning it is a full service buffet, if you eat there, you should try the waffle. It is outstanding however the buffet is great too. They have a nice high-quality breakfast. Something like you would get at the four seasons or a full service Marriott. It ultimately arrived with the potatoes, a pile of plain lettuce, and two orange slices. None of us touched the lettuce as we didn't know where it was sourced, especially given the current active parasite outbreak across North Carolina. I also missed the fact that lettuce came directly on the benedict itself, so I had to pick it off. It was soggy, which left the English muffin completely mushy. The service and kitchen timing were also off. One person at my table didn't get her food until long after everyone else was served, and another person's burger was undercooked, and the replacement arrived when the rest of the table had finished eating. Reid answered all our questions and he was very knowledge about the menu. Reid gave us plenty of time to look over the menu, when we were ready to order he appeared took our food orders. My wife ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Fries. I ordered the Crispy Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The food was delicious!!! For dessert we got Key Lime Pie.
