5/5 ambiance which is a modern twist to where and indoor space blends into an outdoor space. During the day the outdoor seating is nice and sunny overlooking the rest of the mall. It is a great place for a family dinner or an intimate date night spot 5/5 service is always extremely fast here especially compared to their sister restaurant next door. The servers are courteous and friendly no matter how busy it gets 5/5 food-- the lamb skewers is a family favorite along with the pasta. Their menu is always changing which keeps it fresh and exciting. My personal favorite pasta dish however is the cavatelli with beef and sausage. 4/5 parking is readily available with the parking garages nearby however parking is only free for 1 hour then you get charged with a daily max of $15. I decided not to write this review right away because I was honestly very upset after our Mother's Day late lunch at Terra in Westfield. But even after a week, the experience still leaves a bad taste in my mouth, so I feel the need to share it. First, my son called ahead to ask about reservations and was told that reservations were not needed because they accepted walk-ins. We arrived about 30 minutes later only to be told they couldn't seat us because it was Mother's Day and they were fully booked. After I explained that we had literally just called, they finally agreed to place us on the waitlist. Thankfully, we were notified within 30 minutes that a table was ready because we were starving by then. We were seated on the second floor, which honestly felt more like an overflow extension area than part of the main dining experience. Fine -- we stayed positive and ordered our food. For drinks we ordered 2 Strawberry Grove Spritz for $14 each and since they don't serve complimentary bread, we ordered the $9 Focaccina Alle Erbe. The serving was very small and honestly, I should've not ordered it. Then came my son's $66 Wagyu steak. According to him, it was the worst Wagyu he's ever had -- cold, bland, and tasteless. There wasn't even salt on the table, and we had to request it. Next came the Pacchero Alla Brace pasta, which costs $56 total with a required minimum of two orders. The serving size was shockingly small -- maybe around 30 pieces of Paccheri pasta total if I counted correctly. It was also lukewarm, with no bread whatsoever on the side. Honestly, my boys even agreed that my homemade pasta tastes much better. We intend to eat the paste with the Spiedini Arrosticcini, it was served a bit later and again COLD, and I could not believe the portion size. Six tiny mini beef skewers for $17!!! I'm not exaggerating when I say tiny. Even a child would probably still be hungry after that serving. By this point, one of my sons still had not received his entrée while the rest of us were nearly done eating. When his $37 Pollo Affumicato finally arrived, it was the first REAL hot dish served to our table. He was excited and shared some with us because we were craving something warm. But after cutting into the thickest part of the chicken, we saw blood. The chicken was undercooked. We informed the server, and at first she tried to brush it off by saying it was "just near the bone." As someone who cooks, I know chicken must be fully cooked, and I even mentioned salmonella concerns. She finally took it back to the kitchen and later returned saying they were recooking it. At that point, I was completely done with the experience and asked for the check because we were ready to leave. I even decided not to have dessert, which says a lot because dessert was honestly the part I had been most excited about from the start. Before leaving, the "recooked" Pollo Affumicato was served to my son. Oh, it was a new one actually but here's the catch, when the bill arrived, my son noticed they charged us for TWO Pollo dishes instead of one. Thankfully, my son caught the mistake because I had already walked out of the restaurant by then out of frustration. They 'corrected' the bill afterward and wrapped the extra dish. Terra, I truly expected more from you. When we dine out as a family, I always tell my boys to order what they want and not worry about prices because we value the experience of good dining. We've eaten at far more expensive restaurants and happily paid because the food and service matched the price. Eh it was ok. The best thing about this place is their patio seating and the decor. It would've been nice if the entire wall was (plexi)glass but the middle section is a wooden bench seating that covers any possible "view". Not a huge deal since the view is the courtyard of the mall.. Anyways, came here on a weekday afternoon. Staff were friendly, however, they chose to seat EVERYONE at tables immediately next to each other!! That was quite annoying and even when we requested to move, they said there was a party so they closed off one end but didn't say anything about the other end. Got some drinks and they were just ok. I've had better on the Row and will be going there moving forward but if you want a nice, lazy weekday afternoon and don't care about the drinks, try this place. read more

I took my wife and our daughter here today for Mother's Day. Huge fans of Eatly and have somehow never been here. We were excited but left disappointed. Server was great but clearly over tabled and not sectioned off. This is not a reflection on him. Cesar salad was bland at best, lettuce tasted unclean. Bread was delicious as were drinks. Wife's lobster pasta was watery My chicken had a huge black hair in it... I also waited nearly 20min past my wife's dish arriving for mine to arrive. Not what I expected from fine dining and very disappointed that for my wife's first Mother's Day, this was the experience. We love the Eataly in Las Vegas, so went to check out the Eataly at Westfield Mall. We saw that there was a happy hour going on at Terra, so we thought we'd grab a bite. They have a beautiful dining space with indoor and outdoor seating. It's really a gorgeous place to enjoy a meal. * Hummus Di Funghi HH$5 - The mushroom hummus was good with the toasted bread, but you could probably use more bread as you're left with extra hummus. * Polpetta Di Wagyu HH$8 - This wagyu meatball was not great. It was mushy and the texture was not a good feel in your mouth. (I did try a wagyu meatball at another Italian restaurant later in the month, and know this can be made better.) * Gamberi E Zucca HH$7 - This comes with two shrimps and a slice kambocha squash. It was enjoyable. * Insalata Cesare HH$5 - The gem lettuce salad is light and simple. (They were out of the Ostrica Alla Griglia during happy hour.) * Spaghetto al Pomodoro E Ricotta Affumicata $26.50 - This was quite enjoyable. * Tagliatelle Alla Norcina $33 - Very creamy and rich with the black truffle butter. * Lamb Arrosticini 6 for $17.50 - Nicely cooked lamb skewers and the accompanying Espelette Pepper and Sea Salt flakes are some of the best parts. Long time walker-by, first time trying and it's so worth it!! Beautiful rooftop ambience with great views, and if you come around during dinner time the lighting is perfect for the most beautiful photos. Highlight for me was the pomodoro spaghetti. Cooked perfectly al dente, sauce was just the right amount of tang. Another favorite were the lamb skewers, absolutely delicious with a squirt of lime and crushed salt. This place is a gem that we landed at by accident! We had intended to go to La Pizza & La Pasta, yet decided to give this a go and very glad that we did! Leading off, Joe and Jasmine were quite a dynamic duo of a waiter and waitress that took great care of us. We ordered Fistful of Dollars and Lavender Collins for drinks to start. An afterthought was me wishing I would have asked for a lava salted rim to go with the Fistful of Dollars and I will order this next time! We then ordered skewers to start things off and went with the Spiedini (Chicken) and Funghi Trombetta...both were quite incredible and very flavorful! My gf loved the Trombetta and I loved the chicken! We then ordered the Tagliatelle Alla Norcina for our main dish and we were nothing short of impressed! It was amazing and a nice share size for a date night that leaves one with room for dessert! It was a fantastic pasta with a very flavorful cream sauce, sausage and mushroom! Topped with some Parmesan cheese! We then closed out with the Easter Special that was the Eataly Colomba, which was well worth it! Light and very flavorful with a nice crème topping (can be substituted with chocolate if you so please!) What an overall experience this was and with the decor and vibes, well worth the money spent for an Italian restaurant. The service was outstanding, we were seated outside and it was a nice sunny day. We ordered the skewers and bolognese pasta. But the real star of the show here is the pomodoro and the sourdough bread. Great place for drinks and catching up. I recommend the marigold spritz for something refreshing and delicious. My husband got the Mayan Bliss and was pleasantly surprised. We ended our meal with the gelato! Not heavy at all like ice cream and perfect to share with one more person. Everyone was so nice; I met four employees total and everyone was just very professional and kind. They even sent me in a place where I wasn't in a sunbeam. The only reason this place gets four stars instead of five is because of the quality versus cost. The main dish made sense for being expensive because it was such high-quality. I got a happy hour "salad" & I'm glad it wasn't even full price because I ate it in three bites. I could've eaten it in two it was so small, but I tried to stretch it into three bites. The interior design is modern and inviting, though some of the tables are placed close together, so you end up sitting near other customers. Parking is convenient with a garage nearby, but you will need to go up to P4 to access the restaurant. You can also park outside of Eataly, which may be easier during peak hours. We started with focaccia barese, which was a great appetizer. The exterior of the bread had a nice flaky texture, while the inside was soft and airy. The patata fritta were also enjoyable, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a texture and flavor similar to potato wedges. The broccolini was cooked nicely, though flavor wise it tasted like standard broccolini without anything distinctive. Customer service was phenomenal. Giving this 3 not a 0 because the butter was good. Spiedo Di Pollo (6/10)- chicken was bland. The skewer had a lot of seasoning from your point of view but had no flavor. Should have asked for ketchup. Salad was fresh but lacked dressing. Tagliatelle Alla Norcina (6/10) - this pasta also lacked flavor and the pasta does not taste fresh. Feels like you are eating plain pasta with ingredients that does enhance the flavor. It is filling though Patate Eataly (8/10) the only great dish. Potatoes were cooked well. Not hard like a rock like the sourdough. Sauce was flavorful and tasty Ambience: I would only go back here for the ambience because it was beautiful. Sad that the food was bland. Rooftop Italian Done Right in the South Bay I had been to Eataly before--Chicago and Manhattan--so when I found myself back in the Bay Area for a work opening, I knew exactly where I wanted to gather friends and celebrate being "home" again: Terra by Eataly, tucked inside the beautiful and very busy Westfield Valley Fair mall. First things first--this place is a destination. The mall itself is huge, but don't let that intimidate you. Follow the signs, head to the dedicated parking level, and there are even traffic directors to help guide you. Once you get inside, it's like stepping into a foodie playground. Multiple floors, a gorgeous market, food stalls, wine, pastries--it's a feast for the eyes before you even sit down. Now, onto Terra. We made a reservation through OpenTable and came in ready to do what food people do best--settle in, order thoughtfully, and enjoy the experience. We started with wine (of course), and a shared appetizer--something light to get us going while we caught up and laughed about old stories. For the main event, we ordered one of the big "for the table" meat platters--you know the one, under the Per La Tavola section--the hearty, protein-forward option. It arrived sizzling, generous, and perfectly cooked medium rare, just the way we like it. There was plenty to share, and it felt like the kind of dish that encourages conversation and lingering at the table. But the real showstopper for me was the pappardelle with mushrooms. Oh my goodness. Creamy, rich, earthy, and comforting in all the right ways. The kind of pasta that makes you pause mid-bite and look at your friends like, "Okay, this is the one." If you're a mushroom lover, do not skip it. We wrapped things up by sharing the tiramisu--Tiramisù della Nonna--and yes, the price initially made us raise an eyebrow. But when that plate hit the table, we all laughed. The portion was enormous, beautifully made, and absolutely worth sharing. Classic, indulgent, and the perfect ending to a memorable meal. We even saw the gelato cart rolling around, and I'll be honest--it looked dangerous. We were already happily full and knew better than to push our luck. The four of us were hungry, and I wanted to try someplace different. I discovered Terra on Yelp and realized it was one of the restaurants located in Eataly. We had a bit of trouble finding it at Valley Fair. I had never been to Eataly before and thought it was just one large restaurant! It turned out to be a really cool space that includes a wine bar, a pizza and pasta restaurant, Terra, and a grocery store. Terra is undoubtedly the most beautiful restaurant in Eataly, featuring hanging plants and unique gardening tool decor. We decided to order several dishes to share so we could sample a variety of items from the menu. BARBIETOLA - delicious roasted beets, goat cheese with pecans, citrus dressing, and Urban Truffle Honey. CALAMARO ALLA GRIGLIA - tasty grilled squid with tomatoes, capers, and marjoram. ARROSTICIN: We ordered twelve delectable skewers. They only have three kinds of skewers - chicken, beef, and lamb, but the server said we could only have two, so we ordered 6 of the chicken and 6 of the lamb. Tender and favorful! SPAGHETTI AL POMODORO: Since they make housemade pasta, we had to order this dish! It was great, but I'd order a different pasta dish next time. TERRA: A mouthwatering ball of chocolate and salted pistachio covered Bavarian cream. Too bad it wasn't ice cream inside, but it was scrumptious nonetheless. We visited for my wife's 30th birthday celebration, and before being seated I had informed the staff about the occasion. The ambiance of the restaurant was great, and the cleanliness was impressive as well. The overall atmosphere definitely set the right mood for a special evening. However, the service unfortunately did not match the experience we were expecting, especially for a place known for authentic Italian cuisine. We had questions regarding one of the dishes because we wanted to make sure it was not on the sweeter side. Since sugar was not listed as an ingredient, I specifically asked the server about it before ordering. We were told it was "pretty good" and would not be sweet, so we decided to order it. Unfortunately, the dish turned out to be sweet, and we had to send it back. When I reminded the server that I had specifically asked beforehand, the response was simply, "Oh, I'm not sure about the sweetness," which was disappointing. After that interaction, we felt ignored for about 15-20 minutes. We even had to ask another staff member just to have someone come take our order. It was frustrating because guests who arrived after us were already receiving their food and service while we were still waiting. Eventually, we received our main course -- the grilled chicken -- which was decent. Since we were dining with a small baby, the long waits made the experience even more difficult. At the end, we waited another 20-30 minutes for the complimentary gelato that is typically offered. I actually had to remind the server about it, which felt a little embarrassing during a birthday celebration. After mentioning it again, they finally brought out two gelatos. Overall, the restaurant has a beautiful ambiance and good cleanliness standards, but the service lacked attentiveness and consistency. I've been to Terra a couple of times now, and this place is really hit or miss. You'd think that since it's located inside Eataly, the Italian food and pasta would be amazing--but honestly, it's very mediocre, very expensive, and the pasta portions are tiny. The pasta dish I got (the one in the picture) was around $35, and for that portion size, it was pretty disappointing. It was just OK--lacked flavor and didn't have much meat. Now, their ribeye steak, on the other hand, was excellent. Very tender, great flavor, cooked perfectly, and a good portion size for the price. It's honestly so good that it beats some Bay Area steakhouses, which is kind of sad. We also ordered the sourdough bread appetizer, which was great--the bread was warm, the butter was soft and creamy, and the sea salt on the side was a really nice touch. The potatoes that came with the steak were also really good--kind of like countryside potatoes but more on the fried side, with a great crisp and simple salt-and-pepper seasoning. The ambience here is amazing. Lots of plants, rooftop setting, very romantic vibes. Service is excellent--they check in often and make sure everything is good. At the end of the day, this place really falls short on portion sizes and pricing when it comes to the pasta. It's just not worth it. But any of the grilled meats I've tried--like their chicken or the meat platter--are very solid and worth the price. So overall: go here for anything from the grill, but don't come here for the pasta. It's not worth it. read more

Located in Eataly, San Jose at Valley Fair. You can dine inside or outside on the balcony. Reservations are highly recommended as this place gets packed. The appetizer with the chimichurri sauce was excellent, as was the burrata dish. They do offer a gluten free pasta, bonus points to them, but I think for this type of restaurant, if you are GF, you are better off just getting something that is naturally gluten free, stay away from the GF pasta. I honestly haven't had a GF pasta anywhere that has the same texture and taste as regular pasta. Get the appetizer dish for your entree. This review is only regarding their service and cocktails. Service needs some help, no one came to get our orders for over 20 minutes and we felt a bit neglected. We were seated at the L couch by the bar. That being said, when we finally got our drinks they were delicious and well crafted -- I thoroughly enjoyed my Marigold Spritz and my coworkers enjoyed their drinks too. No one ended up checking on us throughout our visit, and we had to hunt someone down to get our check. Maybe just a bad night. I love the ambiance and drinks here, but the food was definitely disappointing. As for the ambiance, I love the trendy casual and earthy aesthetic, and the bright, open patio. The restaurant is busy, lively and has a fun energy on a Friday night. As for drinks, I ordered a Sauvignon Blanc and then Pinot Grigio. They were both a little more floral than I prefer (generally like French or NZ Sauv Blanc and very acidic wines), but I thought both still had good flavor profiles and were refreshing on a hot day. For the food, my boyfriend and I ordered the Fornello Pugliese to share, which includes skirt steak, homemade sourdough bread, spicy sausage, chicken thighs and bombettes filled with mortadella and cheese grilled over open fire. Unfortunately, the steak and chicken thighs were dry and the spicy sausage wasn't very flavorful (or spicy). Went for date night, Monday night around 7pm, and were seated right away. Terra is the rooftop restaurant of Eataly, located in Westfield mall. It has its own rooftop parking lot, first 2 hours are free. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. Vines wrap around the place, lit by delicate fairy lights, very romantic vibe. The patio is adorned with tropical plants, cushy benches, and space heaters. The waiter explained the menu and was able to answer my dietary questions. My vegetarian friends! Thankfully the menu clearly marks vegan & vegetarian options. There are 6 veg/vegan antipasti-- we chose the focaccia and the burrata. The focaccia, served with high quality EVOO and flaky salt, was excellent with crunchy crust and fluffy interior. The burrata I fiund a bit confusing-- the cheese and squash were lukewarm but the radicchio was cold-- I felt I could not tell if it was trying to be a salad or a warm appetizer. It was different. My husband tried the pork skewer, which comes as 2 skewers-- he found it heavy and decadent-- probably better to share with someone. We shared the papparadelle cacio e pepe e funghi (warning it does have animal enzymes in the cheese and has a smoky flavor-- and therefore not marked as vegetarian. I found it delicious-- delicate homemade spinach pasta coated in smoked cheese paired with meaty oyster mushrooms. First off, I'd like to start by saying how nice the ambiance of the restaurant and bar is. We came here on a sunny day and the weather was beautiful. The bar itself looks nice and has a good variety of cocktails. We received amazing service from one of the bartenders, who seemed friendly and eager to help. When we told him it was my cousins birthday, he gave us pastries to enjoy (see below). The drinks he made were also nice to sip on, though they could have been stronger ;) However, we left to put our names down on the waitlist for a different restaurant nearby and when we came back we got a different bartender who did not seem to be happy we were there. When we asked him what kind of tequila he had, he slapped the menu open, pointed at the tequila, said "tequila" and then walked away. My cousin and I looked at each other because we caught the vibe that he didn't want us there. Anyways, we ended up ordering some drinks and quickly leaving because the energy quickly went south. It's crazy how the ambiance of a place can change when the energy changes! I would still come back here again, but only if our first bartender serves us! Final thoughts: 4.73/5 This place has been on my list of places that I have been wanting to go to for the longest time now and I finally got to go on a lunch date with my girlies. Definitely a solid 5 star. Along with my company, the food was amazing, service was very nice, and vibes were just right. Food: Tagliatelle Alla Norcina: 4.7/5 Per our waiter, this dish has more of a white sauce. Their pastas are amazing and definitely what they are known for. This dish has a housemade tagliatelle with sausage for the protein, porcini mushroom ragu, with black truffle butter and agriform parmigiano reggiano. The pasta is cooked to perfection. Very nice al dente; there's some bite to it, but it has that perfect chew. There's just enough sauce to cover the pasta, but it's not pooling at the bottom. Consistency was also very creamy, but was very light. The umami flavor from the truffle butter and mushroom ragu really come out nicely in the dish. None of the flavors are overpowering, but they balance out very well. Minced sausage is added throughout the dish and well incorporated into the dish. The presentation was amazing with the garnish of parmigiano. Arrosticini: 4.5/5 This dish was grilled lamb Abruzzese skewers paired with grilled house made rustic bread, and espelette pepper, lemon, and sea salt for seasoning on the side. Not my favorite item, but amazing nonetheless. The meat on the skewer was quite thin and that might have contributed to the meats being more on the dry side. Something I appreciate is that the seasoning is placed on the side in a pile on the board, so that we are able to control how much seasoning is added to the meat. The bread is thin and my thought was that it is going to be hard, but it was actually more crispy than hard. Very nice addition to the board. It contributes well with the texture and flavor. Tiramisu Pancakes: 4.8/5 My favorite of the three items that I tried today. The pancake is very soft and fluffy. I did feel like the texture of the pancake was slightly dry and perhaps a bit more overcooked than I would like it. Mini Fruit Tartlette (Birthday Dessert): This was a complimentary dessert that they provide for your birthday. Very cute and nice gesture. They melt a candle onto the plate as well and light it up. The tart is very small, but it's the perfect bite-sized dessert. Very fruity and refreshing. Menu: Side note about their menus. Apparently, their menus do change quite often. Something I did want to try was the squid ink pasta, but this item was removed from their menu during the time that we went. Perhaps they do rotate items in and out, so you can always ask them to see if there is an item that you previously see and want to try. -------- Quality: Made in-house Their quality appears to be amazing. The pastas are made in-house and they definitely do not disappoint. Something about freshly made pasta is amazing. Each component of the dishes seems very thought out and they contribute nicely together. Price: $$$ This is definitely what you would consider fine dining. The prices lean more on the expensive side, but their quality is something that I would pay for. Price range will really vary depending on what you get, but the price was around $50 to $70 per person today. We did get some drinks too, so that contributes to the total amount. Again, their quality was amazing though and this is a place that I would enjoy coming to again. Service: Some of the best that I've seen Their waiters and waitresses are so super sweet. Something very different is that the restaurant manager or supervisor would come out and greet all of the customers there at the time. While this can be considered a simple or small gesture, I really appreciate this gesture because it shows you care. My friends have been here multiple times and this is something that he does each time, which is amazing. They even mentioned that he will check on you, see where you food is, and even deliver the food to your table for you. Truly this good customer service. Ambiance: Fine dining vibes Rooftop brunch place is what this place is also known for because the seating is literally outside on the balcony of Eataly. The weather was just right on the day we went. The sun wasn't beaming outside, the weather was cool, and the vibes were chefs kiss. It really does give the feels of a fine dining meal. Location/Parking: Valley Fair on a Balcony This place is located at Valley Fair. The restaurant itself is on the balcony of Eataly. I got lost trying to find this place because it's "inside" of Eataly on the third floor. Once you locate Eataly, you go up the escalator or elevator, it will be on the third floor where the outdoors balcony is. There are signs, but not the most obvious place for me. There are multiple parking spaces here. Unfortunate that you only get 2 hours of free parking now, but I digress. read more

The wait for no reservation around 4:30 pm on a Sunday was 25-30 minutes but we were able to leave a name and number and walk around the mall. The two of us ordered 3 appetizers/skewers and they were all exceptional in taste! The appetizer portions are on the smaller side so maybe order several for a big group or consider it a tasting. The grilled abruzzese skewers (we chose lamb and the smaller amount of 6 skewers) were tender and flavorful even without the salt and pepper on the side. The amount of meat on each skewer is probably a little less than an ounce. The wagyu carpaccio was tasty especially with the dots of smoked aioli. The lemon dressing and pieces of arugula really add an extra dimension of flavor. We'll have to try this dish at other places. The bombette (stuffed pork shoulder) was so juicy too! Comes as 4 meatballs (2 on each skewer) and the inside has the consistency of raw meat, which caught me off-guard, but it doesn't taste nor look undercooked. I think it's the mortadella. Very savory and I loved how some parts of the surface had a thin crisp while other parts were soft. We'll probably return to try a steak or some other meats! read more

As usual, another great meal at Terra at Valley Fair. We made reservations so did not need to wait. We ordered salads, pasta, flank steak, chicken skewers over salad. And my favorite, an Aperol Spritz. For dessert we had the Gelato cart and a chocolate Bombe'. Delicious! Waiter was attentive, nice ambiance. We went on a weeknight so not as crowded. We reserved a table Friday night for my son's 28th Birthday! Party of 8. Almost a 1k bill. The Food was delicious and the restaurant gave beautiful and fun vibes all around. It was a perfect set up for a group of 8. The sommelier was amazing when helping us pick a great wine to accompany our dinner. The reason for 4 not 5 is the server was not our speed we all felt rushed through every course and they spoke unusually loud at us when explaining the menu, drinks how to order etc.. Host was really nice. Joe was an amazing server! Restaurant decor and theme were very cute. The drinks were good! Food was questionable. Pro: - My steak was perfectly med-rare - Potatoes were nice and crispy - Steak skewer was tasty - Bread was good - Mayan Bliss and Affogato were delicious! Con: a pretty big one. The chicken ball skewers were still raw! I only had a quarter of one at the restaurant along with small pieces of all the other skewers. (I just wanted my steak and potatoes) I noticed the texture was off, but restaurant lighting was a little too dim to see the rest. Someone else ate the other piece and didn't say anything about it..... hmm... okay... My bf brought leftovers home. Next day he air fried them to warm up, he took a bite of one and spat it back out. Another unforgettable evening at Terra -- and this time, our waiter Joe made it truly special. We came as a multigenerational group -- my wife, our son, my sister-in-law, and my mother-in-law -- and Joe set the tone from the very start. He remembered each of our names throughout the evening, which is a small touch that makes a big impression, especially with a larger table. His recommendations were spot-on and clearly came from genuine knowledge of the menu, not just a rehearsed script. We started with the roasted bread, potatoes, and cauliflower to share -- all excellent -- before moving on to the chicken skewer, which was simply delicious, and a pork chop that surprised everyone with its inventive apricot jam pairing. Creative, balanced, and memorable. We finished the night the only proper way: the legendary Terra cake paired with espressos. The perfect punctuation to a perfect meal. The food here is always top notch -- that's a given -- but exceptional service is what turns a great dinner into a great night. Joe delivered exactly that.
