I want to like Terra Plata more than I do. The rooftop is beautiful and a lovely place to sit. However, the quality and portions do not justify the prices. Most recently, I came here for brunch. My drink, a spritz, was delicious, though pricey at $19.00. Strawberry crepes: just ok, and $17.00 for a diminutive portion of middling crepes. Pork belly & kimchi hash: excellent flavors, though was comprised nearly entirely of potato. There were only a few nibbles of pork belly. Avocado toast: my dining companion was displeased with the crunchiness of the bread and found it annoying to eat. The prices are just mind boggling. The value isn't there at all. For instance, the pork belly hash is 28$ with maybe 1oz of pork belly total; at Barking Frog in Woodinville, 28$ gets a plate with both several strips of bacon AND 2 sausages (and 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, and a similar quantity of potatoes)

Went here for valentines day and secured a table on the beautiful rooftop. The place is beautiful done with indoor and outdoor( rooftop) seating. The server we had was great and suggested great stuff . The food and drinks though were nothing great. We had the albacore crudo, baguette , mushroom risotto and the pistachio dessert all of which tasted mediocre.

came here on a saturday for late brunch after a resy fell through at another place and was seated immediately downstairs (upstairs was had no space for a party of 6) the drinks were decent, i tried the forbiden rice drink and it tasted like a creamier horchata. the patatas bravas was a pretty large serving to split among 6 and was perfectly crisp. Also ordered the churros but they were just decent imo. Not sure what I was expecting with the croque madame but it was okay and had a heavy mustardy flavor. The portion was very large tho! Pricy as expected the total came out to $300 for 6 people with drinks. Our server was amazing and so friendly saw that we gave a friend a birthday present and without us asking brought out a free birthday flan at the end which was so sweet of them!

Came in for a quick solo meal on a work trip. Place was big and nicely lit. A bit noisy but not too bad. Bartender was nice. Ordered the roast pig, GL focaccia, and a cocktail and glass of wine. I saw the focaccia was GF which i usually stay away from but decided to gamble. Honestly it was pretty damn good. Nice and crispy. I'd prefer reg focaccia but it was nice if you didn't think of it as focaccia and instead an airy loaf of dipping bread. The pork was awesome. Massive portion. Very tender meat. Lots of potatoes and onions. The broth was very well seasoned and it was great for dipping bread in. I'd definitely order it again. Overall quality meal. Cool atmosphere. Good service. Will be back.

Stopped in on a Friday night and the restaurant had a nice sized crowd. We sat in the upstairs patio area which was a nice atmosphere, if not a bit chilly. Our picnic style chairs were a bit wobbly, but it wasn't bad enough to take away too much from the meal. Everything that came out of the kitchen was all solid, if not a tad overpriced. The chips with truffle sour cream were a surprise and very good. Fries were nothing crazy, but well executed. Really enjoyed the tomato pasta and lamb ribletts. Lots of really bright flavors happening in the main courses which we enjoyed. The olives were just okay. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall a really good meal, but a bit uneven at times in terms of execution. Still worthy of a try.

Terra Plata was the perfect spot before our show at Climate Pledge Arena! The food was incredible -- so fresh, flavorful, and beautifully plated. Loved the fun, lively vibe and friendly service too. Such a great way to kick off the night -- I'll definitely be back!

Alright, let me begin by saying that this place is a 5 star restaurant, if we were solely judging the place by the quality of the food. However, it loses a star due to the behavior of 2 of their hostesses, let me explain. Me and my wife were visiting from San Jose, and after trying all the recommended restaurants and activities in town, we decided to venture out and find a place on our own. That's when we came across Terra Plata. Judging by the people there, and the overall ambiance, we could tell it was one of those places where rich people go to feel rich. It's always a hit or miss with places like that, but as long as the food is good, I can deal with being around those types of people. It was a Monday, and as we passed by, we noticed the restaurant was only half full, and decided to pop in to see if the food was any good. A lady greeted us awkwardly, and told us they only take reservations, and she couldn't seat us. We could tell that was a lie, but what could we say? Nothing, so we left. The next day, we were having some coffee at Starbucks reserve, and afterwards, we saw they had 0 customers, so we decided to stop by again, and see if a different host would seat us. This time, there was a blonde girl, who told us that we could only stay until 5:45 if she seated us. It was 4:00, and even though that was a very strange thing for her to say, we looked past it and sat down to eat. Our waiter was great, he knew everything there was to know about the menu, and he wasn't stuckup and strange like the hostesses. He made excellent recommendations, and was very attentive to our table. At this point, the hostess had seated 2 other couples, and we never once heard her tell them that they had to leave by 5:45. Then the hostess (not the waiter) comes up and asks if we ordered drinks. We said we were fine with water, and in a rude way she responded "would you like to order drinks?" I couldn't believe her attitude, it was almost as if she was suspicious about us being in there. Mind you, we aren't slobs, we don't dress like bums, we don't have blue hair or anything like that. I'm Armenian and my wife is Iraqi, she doesn't wear a hijab, and we are clean cut people. We do look like we come from though, we are middle eastern! All I can assume, is that there was a racial motivation behind the behavior of these particular hostesses. It's strange to me, that everytime I experience racism, it's at an establishment that displays pride and blm materials, like Terra Plata does right upon entering. The interesting thing is, that the tables next to us, were actually really nice people, and not as elitist as the hostesses seemed to be. It's usually the other way around back home in California. In closing, come for the food, it was amazing. The best steak I've ever had was here. The server was a true gentlemen, and the restaurant was very clean as well. I just wish the hostesses practiced what they preach when it comes to acceptance of minorities, and people of color, instead of pretending they do for social credit amongst people who look just like them.

I went here for a friend's birthday, and it was the perfect place to celebrate! We did make reservations online, and requested to sit on the outdoor patio, which was so nice on warm day. I had noted on the reservation that it was my friend's birthday, and they had a customized menu waiting at our table with a happy birthday message written on it, which was a very kind and special gesture. The food here is fresh and delicious, and many of the items are seasonal. We ordered a few dishes to share, and all had amazing flavors, the carrots being one of our favorites. The gluten free focaccia was also surprisingly light and fluffy, and I would never have guessed that it was gluten free! The waitstaff was very attentive and gave us great recommendations for food and drinks. We did ask if they did anything special for dessert, since it was my friend's birthday, and although they don't give a free dessert, they do put a candle in a dessert you order! Despite this, the ambiance, food, and location are all great, and this would be a great spot for date night, a friend or family reunion, or just a fun spot to go if you're looking for fresh, local food.

First off we're greeted with a very warm smile from the hostess. Our waiter was very attentive. I requested for crisps crispy bacon and ooh yesss!!! I got my wish. Our meals were so delicious that I didn't get the chance to take other people's food This is the second time we've been here. Food is so good great team.... Love love it. The food, the service, and the atmosphere all check out. We ate on the roof during a perfect summer day and tried a variety of drinks and dishes (I didn't take a photo of everything). The outdoor rooftop dining area was perfect for a summer dinner and the best dish was the morels! We'll be back!

While vacationing in Seattle, I gave Hubby the task of finding a good place for dinner while I was enjoying the afternoon at Chihuly Garden and Glass with his family. I was pleasantly surprised that Terra Plata offers paella on Mondays! The price for the Mixto seemed reasonable as there was plenty for 2 people. The pan had chicken, Spanish chorizo, shrimp, mussels, clams, chimichurri, and saffron rice. Churros for dessert had chili-chocolate ganache, caramel, and whipped cream. With my espresso martini, our dinner was delightful. Kat D, our server, was pleasant and took good care of us. We parked in a nearby public parking structure.

I would come here again! The food was pretty good and the cocktails were not too sweet; so they were yummy. Service was good.

She recommended a Mezcal cocktail that was a great start! Surprising because it wasn't smoky typical to Mezcal, just perfectly balanced. Exactly what I wanted. For my main, I went with the short rib pappardelle. It was incredibly rich, and the meat was cooked to perfection. Hailee was attentive and made me feel welcome at the table, which isn't always the case when you're a party of one. Incredible service and an all-around top-tier meal. The hostess walked us through the entire restaurant to the dark back wall, behind the bar. With tall bar chairs. Explained we didn't want that, she walked us back through the entire restaurant to a nice table up front by the windows. Tried a Malbec duo. One was delicious and didn't like the other at all; oddly tannic. The grilled mortadella should have been more grilled. Sitting in a generous portion of burratta-like cheese, olive oil and pistachio butter, it was delicious. But desperately needed some bread. How do eat this without any bread? Once the mortadella is gone, you are just eating spoonfuls of cheese, oil and butter? We hadn't seen our waitress since the app arrived. Having finished the mortadella we finally flagged down someone and asked if we could get a little bread. He said he would handle it right away. Another 10 minutes goes by and our waitress came by. Apologized for not being around and went to see about the bread. Finally got the bread, and it was delicious. But sooooo oily! Like a sponge it dozed oil every time I tried to break off a piece. Was dying to wash my hands. Our entrées were ok. The fried chicken with fusilli was pretty good, but difficult to eat in the deep bowl. Hard to cut. The crispy tofu wrap wasn't crispy and wasn't made well. I have absolutely no idea what flavor profile it was meant to be. Just muddy. I tried to eat the first half. It was stuffed so full it was impossible to eat. I took out more than half the filling before I could manage it. When I got to the second half I understood the issue. There was almost no crispy tofu, but lots of lettuce and other fillings. Maybe it would have eaten better if it had been constructed better. The fries were fine. Pleasant server, but perhaps had too many tables as we didn't get the service expected. It's been a long time since dining at the downtown Purple. Likely wouldn't go back.

Amazing wines, creative cocktails, solid snacks, great service and even games. You could wander in "for one flight" and somehow emerge six hours later wondering where the time went (in the best way.) On the wine side, they offer several thoughtfully curated flights, or you can build your own adventure. Which I highly recommend. The dessert wines alone are incredible, and the selection of aromatic whites is seriously impressive. No matter your palate, there's something here that will make you pause, sip again, and nod approvingly. And then there are the wine-based cocktails that deserve their own standing ovation. A wine tasting room doing cocktails this well is rare. We tried the Espresso Martini, the French 125, and the Lavender Lemon Martini, and every single one was better than I expected grape-based cocktails to be. Like, pleasantly shocked. This used to be one of my favorite spots at Pike Market. For years, I made it a tradition to bring out-of-town guests here. Over time, I have brought more than 100 people here. It had a charming, warm, and welcoming feel--like a hidden gem in the city. It oozed with kindness and fun. Unfortunately, that has completely flipped! Since the new manager, Anthony, took over, the entire atmosphere has shocked me. What was once inviting now is rigid, cold, and unwelcoming. The biggest issue, however, was the way I was treated. The interaction felt unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which was both surprising and disappointing given my long history with this place. Great establishments are built not just on food or ambiance, but on how people are treated--and that piece is clearly missing now. It's especially unfortunate because the rest of the team still shows glimpses of what this place used to be. Jordon, was genuinely kind and pleasant, but one positive interaction couldn't outweigh the manager's miserable attitude. It's hard to see a place that once felt so special lose its charm like this. I know the winemaker Paul is a great person - so it is hard to leave such a terrible review, but at the same time, if this was my place -- I would want to know what was happening behind the scenes at my establishment. I truly hope leadership reflects on how customer experience is being handled moving forward. Don't give money to places that have toxic attitudes and are joy crushers! Life is too short and far too precious! In the meantime, there are many nearby spots that consistently deliver both quality and incredible hospitality. Skip this place, and instead go to Browne Family Vineyards Tasting Room, The Lonely Siren, The Pink Door, Place Pigalle, or Maximilien. Those places are working very hard to create an exceptional experience!
