Miserable service for rodent control. Signed contract 9/30/23 for exclusion and cleanup. Exclusion did not keep rats out of attic. Cleanup did not happen for 4.5 months. When "cleanup" was supposedly done, attic was still full of rat poop and the outline of the body of a dead rat remained, but the body was removed. That's the only good thing. The contract was signed with Alfred Garza for $1400. We believed his promises for excellent service. Don't trust Terminix. They do not keep their promises. read more

We are extremely disappointed in Terminix's lack of transparency and urgency regarding our home's vulnerability during our tenting for termites. No one at the company explained to us that we could be robbed between the time the gas stops and the crew comes to remove the tent. Although we took many valuables, Terminix was less than vocal that break ins happen. They also said, "Leave your home security alarm OFF." This ensured we would lose everything. The thieves broke in through our back door and took EVERYTHING THAT MEANT ANYTHING TO US! Including heirlooms, dog tags & collars from our beloved, deceased pets, jewelry, financial information, expensive tools, etc. The thieves have used our financials to steal from us online as well. We are angry, heartbroken, and reached out multiple times to ask for Terminix to verbally and in writing to be very clear on removing EVERYTHING you care about. They blew us off and said they could not change it. Terminix has still never reached out to apologize. They simply took our payment and walked away. When I called to talk to anyone in charge, I was told other families sleep in trailers, cars, or hire their own security personnel. TOO LITTLE, TOO LATE! SHAME ON TERMINIX! My first experience with Terminex was very positive. The technician provided intelligent explanations and did a thorough job. I took a contract. That technician quit. My experiences have been abysmal ever since. The Replacement Technician seemed to have no idea what he was supposed to be doing. He was even unaware of what pest he was supposed to be targeting. He would give me less then a days notice and then charge my account. He did not respond to text or calls asking him to address the problem. I finally told him, in writing, NOT to come again unless I was here and we had an appointment. He ignored my request, admitted he had only done half the job and charged me the full amount. I told him, in writing, to not come out again and that he did not have permission to charge my account ever again until my current problems were addressed. He ignored me and charged my account. I have called the regional office numerous times over 3-months requesting a refund. I've spent more than 3-hours on the phone. They never return my calls. The management hides behind their telephone operators. At one point they told me they wouldn't reimburse me because I had canceled my account. This was after telling me that the couldn't reimburse me unless I cancelled my account. Today, I was told for the third time they were going to escalate it. It took 15-minutes to just get the manager's name. I'll update my review with developments and names. read more

NO SHOW 3 times in a row! I made an online appointment last Wednesday - never showed up, never contacted me, even though I had a confirmation text earlier in the day. I called in to ask where my exterminator was and was told that this branch doesn't do online appointments. (OK, so why did I get a text confirmation?!) The clerk apologized and made me an appointment over the phone for two days later, which was last Friday. I accepted and was home during the window. Again, NO SHOW. NO CALL. NO TEXT. NOTHING. Even though I had to confirm through text earlier in the day, which I did. Again, I called Terminix only to be apologized to again. The clerk said she couldn't reach the exterminator nor the manager, but offered me an appointment for today, Monday. I accepted. AGAIN, No show, no call, nothing. I know it's because I asked for the free inspection, as advertised. The first clerk I talked to kept trying to sell me packages when all I wanted was an insepection to see what was going on first. She sounded noticeably disappointed when I said I only saw one rat so far. This place is very unprofessional and flaky. read more

I've been using Terminix every three months for over 20 years and they no longer have any customer service. For the first time in all those years I now have ants in my house. When I reached out to (messaged) the person that came out he never responded even after two messages. I then waited a week and call the office and told them this was happening and they scheduled me the first available appointment which was in two days between 10-12. NO ONE ever showed up. I called again and was told it was scheduled 4 days after that appointment and that the day I was told was only a request but was not put through. No one ever bothered to call or tell me that so I waited for two hours when I didn't need to. I then called again and was told all this and had to be put on hold so they could just put in a request to have a manager call me. Don't bother with this company as they are not anyone you want to deal with. Very bad service and no communication. I will be going elsewhere. read more

I called Terminex to come out to find the nest(s) of yellow jackets on my property near Spring Lake and Annadel Parks prior to a large work BBQ I was hosting in several weeks. A very nice young man came and looked around then booked an appt for the following week for someone from his company to come out and kill the yellowjackets. On the day of the appointment (Monday) no one showed up. I called, and they said "oh, sorry, we overbooked and no one will be available until next week". I was quite upset as the party was on Friday! I told them, that that was THEIR problem and to get someone out here by Thursday. They didn't have anyone. I called Racer Pest control and they will be here the next day. TERMINIX SUCKS. read more

I've been calling for months and won't be stopping. We signed up from a door to door sales man who was very nice. He scheduled us for our first service, the guy came a few hours later than we scheduled the service for, and then never actually did the service because he didn't have any products on his truck. We canceled the service and we're charged even though we never received the service to begin with. I've called multiple times and every time a woman answers with major attitude basically telling me our money is gone and we won't be getting it back. For something we never received. Scheduled an appointment at 3pm. They came at 11am and treated the front of my house only, maybe, and said they were done. They did go into back yard and treat 3/4 of the house exterior. I am not impressed with their professional behavior. During the sales pitch, we were told the treatment repelled rodents. Apparently we were misinformed.... Again, not impressed. I've never used this service but was almost killed by one of their drivers. 30mph to a dead stop with no signal all so he can flip around using the shoulder to make a turn he missed. Terrible customer service. Made an appointment on 7/29 for inspection re: wood boring beetles. No one showed or called. Contacted them and received many apologies, then rescheduled for 08/10. Again, no one has called or shown up. When I called yesterday to confirm the appointment, I was put through to the escalation unit in phoenix who could not confirm the appointment but would have someone call. My experience with this company has been nothing but frustration. We have a flea problem at our home, but no pets. First of all, none of their technicians have been able to figure out why. Second, the appointments they give us are either at 7am or 5pm and we have to be out of the house for 4 hrs after they spray. I have repeatedly requested a time during the day, which is more convenient to be out for 4 hours. Well, no luck. And it's been over a month now. Their service is the worst. Their mangers aren't accountable and basically couldn't care less about customers. When I call their Corp office in Tennessee, they don't give any names or phone numbers to branch mangers or senior management, which makes you think why. I am cancelling my contract with them. I have had one excellent technician and numerous horrible techs who fail to read service instructions and provide complete contracted service. All customer service and billing inquiries are answered in Memphis, TN and the Philippines where little regard is gives to services provided at the local level. It is frightening to think how many past techs who no longer work at Terminix now have access to my home. It is rarely the same tech twice who go out to my home in a small rural town. Every review I just read is an exact synopsis of what I wanted to write. My mom is 75 years old and lives alone. She had a pest problem and signed up with Terminix. They came on strong as you would expect in the beginning. She paid a whole bunch of upfront costs and signed up for a maintenance program. Every phone number goes to some vortex of people who sound nice, are very good at putting me on hold, but whatever they tell me doesn't happen. Nope - nada - NOthing Here's what I did: at 12:30 I called - as no one had showed up in the 9-11AM window they had scheduled - and I was told someone would call me and give me an ETA when the technician would arrive - the result? Right - Nope - nada - NOthing. I called again at 2; this time I was told my appointment is on the schedule for 9-11AM but no technician was assigned to it and they have no openings until September. Really? Perhaps calling me and notifying me of this is the proper professional response? Of course, this person also told me - wait - wait for it - that's right - someone will call me back!!.....still waiting.......and, perfect timing - Adele is on the radio as I cry tears of frustration and loneliness :_ ( It took 3 phone calls to even get this appointment-which-never-happened, and two of those phone calls resulted in non-callbacks. So of six phone calls to Terminix, and six promised return calls, I have received one. Hmmmmmm. The website says Terminix has over 8000 technicians - where are they? We have had Terminex contracts with the Santa Rosa Office since 2010. They were contracted with by our general contractor and to keep the original warranty in effect we need to keep renewing their contract. The past several years we have had appointments for inspections (which they also require to keep warranty in effect) and they have not shown up for the scheduled appointments. They never called to say they were not coming. We have the confirmation email from Terminex stating the appointment. I WOULD NEVER HAVE ANY OTHER OF OUR PROPERTIES SERVICED BY TERMINEX. read more

For 8 Years Armed Force Pest Control has been our service. They sold their client base from Santa Rosa to Terminex. No notice from either company!!! My last service was in May and here I sit with a house full of ants. Many phone calls and promises and no one has come out to fix the problem. The ant problem is out of control now that no one has been here. If you ever listen to the recorded message while your on hold they promise you same day service. IT'S BEEN 4 MONTHS TERMINEX!!!!!!!!! I called and they said they rescheduled my appointment for two weeks from now. Without contacting me. They just picked a day and switched my appointment to that day.
