I contacted We Care when I heard scratching and gnawing in my living room wall (no droppings inside the house itself). I had read glowing reviews on Nextdoor.com. Tom came out and did a thorough inspection including conning hazmat gear and crawling around the crawl space under my house to see if he could find openings where the critters might have entered. Nothing there at all. So after examining the perimeter of my house and identifying a couple of possible entry points, he went up on the roof. There he found an opening near the roof vents, found both mouse and rat droppings. A few days later Alvin came to place a one-way trap...a rodent could exit but not re-enter. He also sealed other openings nearby so it had to go out the trap to get food and water. The plan was to return within a week. I actually heard a rodent go out the trap and try to re-enter but couldn't. The gnawing stopped right then. I still heard scratching, which stopped after 5 days. Alvin came back, removed the trap and fully sealed the opening, then moved the trap to another area. He'll return in a week to fully seal that area and hopefully exclusion will be complete. I was particularly impressed by both Tom and Alvin's deep knowledge about rodent behavior, and their enjoyment at sharing their wisdom. And I was also impressed by the thorough inspection that Tom gave as part of the free consultation. Problem hopefully solved permanently, but at least now I know where to turn. And knowing there is no sign of holes in the crawl space helps me feel much more secure. Thank you! read more

They sent a lovely person out and specializes in getting rid of ants. He was honest, gave us a reasonable bed and was available that afternoon to start. We were grateful for his quick and professional response. And we saw evidence of his work within three days. However, in the following 10 days, we noticed a few ants and called, he wasn't available for another week or more. The ants hadn't resurged in great numbers. And when he came out that's the last session we needed his expertise. read more

We have been using We Care Pest Solutions, with Juan Cortes as our service rep for the past 2 years, and they have been great! Juan is very attentive and easy to contact, and has answered all of our questions regarding our back yard carpenter ants and mosquito problem. The amazing part of their service is that if it rains or something happens and the spray does not do its job, you can have them come out and re-do the service! This is part of their warranty and a great value proposition, as it ensures that the product you pay for has the maximum chance of success. We used We Care for a pest inspection when selling our home. While they did a good job identifying the dry rot issues around some of the windows, the remediation work they performed was shoddy. Wood trim was not cut properly to align with the existing (non-replaced) boards. Primer was applied by spray can after the new boards were in place and the overspray they left was ridiculous. Who applies primer like that? Caulking was out of control in some places and non-existent in other places. The clean up after the work was done was half-hearted. They finished what was quoted as a 2 to 3 day job in one day, but charged the same excessive price. They clearly rushed through the job and did not seem to care what the results looked like. I would think twice before using We Care for remediation work. read more

Sean diagnosed it right away and suggested a remediation that did not involve We Care services. On top of that he also noticed another issue and helped resolved it on the spot - all no charge. We were referred to We Care Pest by the property management service at Spyglass that said they've been used by many residents at the complex. I'd started a Yelp Project to try to find a solution to our carpet moth problem... and may I say that the degree of embarrassment that I grappled with in facing our pest problem was substantial. As a former restaurant manager, I've dealt with plenty of pests, from rats to roaches, but the moths that started in our living room and came to infiltrate our living space felt different, more insidious. At first, I turned away from the severity of the problem by waving them away one at a time, but months later, when we moved an old suitcase that had been leaning against the wall in the corner of the living room and unearthed the colony as a whole, I had a momentary instinct to pull up stakes, abandon ship and just move. The feeling of dread persisted as I began to research the problem and call companies for quotes. In addition to carpet moths, we'd also seen silverfish, ants and the very occasional, but terrifying house centipede. Dread was laced into my worry for the safety of our two house cats. For all of the exposure of various problems via social media, etc., wrestling with unwanted, uninvited insects isn't one of the banners any of us are eager to share. Still, most of us have had to navigate life among those with more wriggly legs than we're comfortable with from time to time. When I called We Care Pest Solutions, they didn't have the quickest availability for a consultation. I waited about a week for their technician Joe to come out, but I probably needed that time to begin to wrap my head around the realities of the situation and move from disgust and despair to practical solutions. Out of the three companies who bid for the job, We Care offered the lowest price, but even if they hadn't, I probably would've chosen them anyway. Joe's familiarity with the pests we were dealing with, the laws and all around affability put me at ease. Since we were going to need to have our cats secured and be away from the unit for a full morning to ensure everyone's safety until the pesticides dried, we scheduled the service for a morning about two weeks out. Joe arrived that morning and I'd like to say it was nice that the same person who gave us the estimate is also the technician performing the service. This was actually to be the case for the other companies that bid the work as well, but it's not the case for all companies or services and I'll say it was nice to have one familiar face throughout the project. We exited the unit and left him to his work and came back a little over four hours later. In the following week, I've found one silverfish and one moth, both on their way out. The treatment isn't supposed to be harmful to pets or humans after it dries, but there are two weeks during which the residual chemicals ensure that any pests left after the treatment are finished off. It honestly feels a bit like Joe had a magic wand, comparing the level of nuisance with the absence of any moths afterwards, but I'll take it! Having had black widows all over - I was shocked it took weeks for a respons from someone. What was supposed to be routine pest care turned into a "show up randomly" text instead of a well organized date time. The last 2 visits they did nothing because I had no idea they were even coming. I was charged and I STILL PAID THE FULL BALANCE. Months later I got a letter which claimed no payment. I gathered up proof from my banking institution proving the payment made and had the letter mailed certified. I just got a letter from a collection agency for this - UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT OFFICE STAFF - my only assumption is that whoever is in charge of their book keeping has been huffing down pesticides instead of paying attention! read more

We started off great but the company is way too aggressive with monthly service and billing. At some point I forgot about the bill and then brought it current. A new guy showed up and we only talked about alternatives to poison. He left and I received a bill, which they zeroed out... a misunderstanding. Then I get a text that they are coming the next day (today). No advanced notice and the problem of poison was not solved. I asked the rep if they are on commission. The answer is yes. Makes sense. The rep sends a text, blaming me for the continued harassment- because my invoice was past due at one time... ego. They're fired. read more

Frustrating, poor service. I gave We Care several opportunities to make up for a few poor service calls and they couldn't do it even after talking with the owner. 5 Minute service visits with spiders showing up the next day and a lack luster phone service, with no online portal, etc. Switching to Clark instead made a huge difference, they were on time, called beforehand provided an immediate bill, were thorough and completely covered the home exterior, all with an easy online system. We contacted "We Care Pest Solutions" for a rodent problem. They recommended first a paid inspection, and then an intervention based on the inspection findings. Other companies offer a "free" inspection/site visit, but a walk around the house perimeter will not tell you how rodents get in and that quote will inevitably be inflated or imprecise. I was so impressed by this Company from the moment they set foot on our property, they are professional and experienced. Their inspector, Joel, was very thorough, I did feel like he found all the entry points. Once they know what repairs are needed, they give you an immediate quote, based on the actual work they identified during the inspection. The quote was also reasonably priced. Santiago was their worker sent to do the exclusion work at our house. Santiago was not only on time and kind, but also demonstrated honesty, craftsmanship and attention to details. A little mistake happened during this work: mistakes can happen during this type of repairs, especially in tiny spaces, and what you want is a Company, like "We Care" that takes responsibility, owns the issue and makes sure to fix the problem quickly. I called, the showed up, did their thing and charged me $300 for a simple pest inspection. I guess it is a premium when they know you are selling the house. I'll admit they did the post inspection and the technician was very flexible when it came to provide proof we had made the repairs needed. The also did a partial, centralized termite treatment which I thought wasn't necessary but hey- they are there to exploit a whole market, so i had to oblige to their recommendation. Would I consider they offered value for my money? No. I'd probably call another company for a simple inspection if I wanted to save a few dollars. read more

The've been great so far. Found that we had rat droppings in our crawlspace and they had chewed through at least one of our furnace ducts. Dog was barking from inside at noises in the duct. I caught one with a trap in the duct myself. Also had them put barriers to prevent critters from getting under our deck which is low to the ground. After the three week treatment ($750) ended the problem with the rats was not resolved. We hired the company to do two things: seal the house to prevent entry and catch the remaining rats. It is my opinion that neither tasks were completed. At the final meeting no rats were caught so the company took their seven traps with them. I was told quote "There isn't any rat droppings up there and we didn't catch any rats so you don't have rats anymore." I told the man that I disagreed, I've personally seen the rat dropping in the attic myself, seen the tunneling in the insulation and hear the rats running around at night still. read more

The memory still haunts me. It was time to evict the little beasts, who either didn't know (or more likely) didn't care how scarce toilet paper has become. These guys were great start to finish. We had ants in the kitchen area. Several years ago I had the person who now is the overall owner out to the house and the spraying stopped ants for 8 years. I try to keep poisons to an absolute minimum. But this time the application only lasted for about 3 months. I payed $185 for the first application and did not think I needed a recurring charge. They won't come back out after about 2 months unless you sign up for more service. In my opinion this is just a way to get repeat business. So I bought some Terro liquid ant killer baits. The ants have just about gone after 3 days. In the future I will do my own ant baiting. See the Home Depot site for many reviews on insect control products. read more

This is a spectacular business. I called because I heard something in my wall, pretty sure it was a rat! I was so freaked out, Tanner came out, inspected my house from top to bottom, I mean everywhere!! Roof, attic and under the house! He then walked me thru recommendations and cost. We Care was called about scheduling 2 services 1) ant issue in our kitchen and 2) termites and dryrot inspection. I was able to schedule both inspections easily. The Ant inspection and remediation was done quickly and thoroughly and we have not seen a single ant in our house since then. Thanks WeCare! The termite inspection came next and our home and foundation was thoroughly inspected with results provided via inspection report afterwards. The inspector pointed out various issues with dry rot, but found no termites as were found 5 years ago. I have WeCare coming back to do the dry rot repairs soon. Unfortunately it took over a month to get scheduled, but I'm sure will be worth the wait. Having used the company about 5 years ago for a rat problem, I can confirm this company is extremely professional, honest, thorough and reasonably priced. We had rats in our house (yuck!) and realized we needed professionals to take care of the problem. We Care's tech spent a lot of time just assessing the situation--nearly an hour--and prepared a comprehensive list of what needed to be done to rat-proof the house. The service was more than reasonable when you consider everything they proposed. The follow-up visit brought a tech to our place for over 6 hours! He went under the house, on the roof, brought all kinds of equipment and basically set up shop in our driveway. He screened every opening (and there were a lot of them!) to the house, improved the crawl space doors, set traps and more. After one week, the tech returned, and cleaned out the traps. Yet another visit later, he proclaimed us rat-free. VERY thorough and professional service. We would not hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone with rodent issues. read more

Dishonest pest report, inflated repair estimates. This company was hired by a potential buyer to inspect my home when it was for sale. The report came back with a number of section 1 repairs including an area of reported "fungus" that did not exist. When I called inspector Chad to discuss the area I disputed, he was firm as to why he was right and did not offer any other remediation. Since my house was in escrow, I felt cornered and did not push the issue. Regarding estimates for repairs, the prices provided were at lease double the prices I received from licensed contractors who were not related to this company. Needles to say, I did not use "We Care" for any of the repairs done to my house. I feel this company was dishonest and tried to take advantage of me during the escrow process. read more

After hearing rats in my attic at 3:00 am, I went online and immediately called We Care, I was frantic and completely freaked out. Rats! Ugh! Of course no one answered the phone at 3:00am, but I did receive a call first thing in the morning. I scheduled them to come out right away. Brian came out and did an assessment of my house and gave me an estimate, I swear, I would have paid $5,000 to get rid of those suckers. We agreed on the 1 year guaranteed service and within a few days A gentleman (I don't remember his name)came and spent 3-4 hours going around my house (attic, under the house, eaves, garage, etc.) and sealed everything. He set traps and we waited... and then came Brian... omg, he is amazing! I never saw anyone who was more diligent and thorough than Brian. He spent hours trying to figure out how we were being outsmarted by those suckers! We tried everything! We got rid of them in the attic and under the house, but they were still in the garage...and wouldn't die! We had more traps out than you can imagine but they wouldn't go near them. Then the rats started really destroying my property. They totally chewed apart my washing machine, they were eating the snail bait, dog shampoo, anything and everything they could chew into. Brian was coming by once a week, but they still were winning. And then Brian told me he was leaving the company, he was moving to another company and I was definitely devastated, he worked so hard with me for months... But, being the excellent employee he was, he introduced me to Titan! Yes!! The excellence continues! Before Brian left, he filled Titian in on everything that we've been fighting, so Titian came prepared and ready for battle. He came in and assessed the situation and set new traps and resealed a couple of possible entry's. I swear, I thought we were down to just one rat.... an incredibly smart, mean and destructive one. Every morning I'd go in my garage and see what damage he had done. Every morning there was something new that he destroyed! You name it, that sucker destroyed it. Titian (and Brian) both said they had never seen anything like this before. Well good thing that Titian is just as diligent and determined as Brian! He inspected and reinspected all that was done before, but that sucker was still outsmarting us! Titian even offered to stay the night in the garage with a B.B. gun to shoot him.... he set more traps and loaded them with delicious bait but no... that one last sucker would not die.... until... Titian suggested that I clean out this one shelve area, take everything out and throw away anything that could be use used for a nest. There was a little area under a cupboard that looked like the nesting place for that beast (the rat had found my mothers pearls and some sunglasses along with batteries and many other trinkets from packing boxes on the other side of my garage, to hoard in this one spot). I texted Titian that night and sent him a picture of this nesting place and he said that's probably where he's sleeping or hanging out, so I put a trap right next to where he'd have to enter and exit and holy moly, we got him!!!! First thing I did was send Titian a picture of the monster beast and then I danced in the street! My neighbors even came over to celebrate that they were all finally dead! They have been listening to my nightmare for months! Titian was so excited with the news! I cannot say enough times how much these guys have helped me! They never gave up and worked harder than any service I've ever had. First Brian and then Titian, they took it on personally to help me. These guys do care, they really do and even though it took about 4-5 months to get rid of these disgusting creatures, they never gave up! It became a personal mission on their part and I cannot thank them enough! Btw, we checked the dead rat to make sure it was a male, so no more babies left to carry in the damage. He was the last one out, but not before the thousands of dollars in damage that they did. I can now say that they are completely out of my life! I did buy the 1 year service agreement with We Care, so I feel very confident that the rats won't be returning and if they do, they will be toast. We Care's service is amazing, the employees are excellent! I highly recommend them if you have a pest problem, they really do care!! P.S. I've written two previous reviews for We Care Pest Solutions (2013 and 2015), but we have them come every year to spray the perimeter of our house. Bugs abound in our yard and feed the fat little lizards that snack on them. We're less fond of bugs ourselves and We Care keeps the inside of our house free of them. It's past time to add an update. This year they sent a young man we hadn't seen before--Brian Fenton. He was super-professional, friendly, and did the usual excellent job. The fee was the same as last year and they deserve every penny of what they charge. This is the ninth year we've hired them. I think that says it all! read more

I just wanted to take some time to recognize this business for it's amazing commitment to it's customers! They have been helping us with some very smart and sneaky rats that have been getting under our house this year. The staff is friendly and personable and they schedule a prompt appointment whenever I have concerns that the rats are penetrating our defenses. They have been thorough and helpful every time they've shown up and have alerted us to other pest problems they've noticed while they were here (like some dry rot under the house and some ominous ants surrounding the perimeter). They've always been honest and direct when doing estimates for work and their prices have been very fair when we compared to other estimates for the same job. While there was some confusion around the bill (straightened out quickly with a single call), "we care" did an excellent job spraying our yard for fleas and spiders. They used a chrysanthemum derivative that was all natural and yet still did the job. Update: "We care" attempted to charge me twice for a job they had done a year earlier and for which I paid cash (overpaid in fact...requiring the owner to send their employee back with a partial refund) While the work they did was excellent, I can't in clear conscience recommend them at my previous rating due to the difficulty around payment. read more

We Care Pest Solutions are exactly that. We first used them over a year ago. They were thorough and very engaged in doing the best for us and gave a significant amount of extra effort to make sure the underside and perimeter of our house was sealed from rodents. I highly recommend We Care Pest Solutions and without reservation. They were very friendly, convivial and helpful throughout. When we called a year later after they resolved our initial issue, the office was welcoming, friendly and responsive. A lot of times when you call a company for follow up later, they give you a good deal of run-around and would rather discourage you or simply try to blow you off. Definitely not the case here, which was a pleasant and welcome surprise. Tanner, the company's Inspector who came out, was extremely thorough, personable, willing and generally provided a convivial experience. Cannot recommend them highly enough. read more

I'm sorry to write this post but I am completely unimpressed with the service of WeCARE. I have a rat problem outside and the quote I got over the phone was completely different than what was stated when the person came by my home. He was not convinced that he could even help. Every answer he gave was "we can try that..." "maybe it will work" "we will have to see...". I am confused and frustrated. Was hopeful to work with WeCAre but now going with another company. read more
