From time to time Mother Nature claps back, but New West is kind enough to stop by and do a follow up at no extra cost. The customer service is amazing. We chose to have a whole house treatment as pests were found in not only the upstairs and downstairs western wall, but also in the hardwood oak floor. Once we selected this local company, they gave us a complete packet of the process and the special food bags to use for any unsealed food items. We packed 100% of our and our pets' medications and took them with us. Due to our dog and cat, we rented a house with a yard. That property was near to our office, allowing us to check on our pets. We would recommend We Care Pest in Santa Rosa for answering our calls and questions and for their friendly and professional assistance during this challenging move out for us.

The team was not only VERY thorough but also extremely knowledgeable in removing these unwanted critters. Then everything was cleaned and vacuumed leaving a very tidy and rat free crawl space. Nature Science Pest Control rocks!…read more We've only ever had to use their service for odorous house ants, which apparently are very common (and overpopulated?) in our area. We're on a semi-annual plan. They visited recently and sprayed around the perimeter of our house, and used some localized treatment in a tree where they saw ants. We appreciate their eco/friendly and pet-safe practices (we let the spray dry and then our yard is safe for our dogs again). Also appreciate their responsiveness in setting up the visit by text, and then texting again when the tech is on the way to us. Every technician we've had has been friendly and knowledgable, as well as quick and efficient.

We had an issue with rats due to recent construction in our neighborhood. They sent out a representative. I showed him areas of concern. He was very thorough and we discussed a plan. Due to miscommunication I was under the impression the entire exposed perimeter of our home would be rat proof when in reality 3/4 was completed and some of that wasn't up to our satisfaction. We took pictures and sent them to the representative, who advised us that I misunderstood about the entire perimeter, but agreed the areas of concern were not done correctly. Three techs later and it still wasn't done correctly. A manager came out and made empty promises to fix things and to discount work. Apparently he meant a discount for additional work at a cost to us. We asked several times for an itemized bill to explain the charges, and all we received was the original statement I hope Management takes this feedback seriously to improve communication and accountability skills.

I had a lot of things going on and didn't do my usual due diligence of getting multiple quotes. I paid over $1000 to have a termite issue in a garage side door jamb addressed... and there was a lot of miscommunication about when the workers would show. When the workers left, they told me to keep the door cracked open while the jamb dried. The next morning I couldn't close the door. Three weeks later, the door finally closes, but the section of the jamb that was addressed feels spongy. The job also looks super-unprofessional--definitely not a $1000 repair job.

Going through a refinance and had to get a termite inspection quickly. I called Hitmen because…read morethey had done an inspection of my house for the prior owners, so their number was handy. They scheduled my appointment quickly, and on the day of the appointment, the inspector Steve arrived as scheduled. He found dry rot in three places, which needed to be repaired for my VA loan, but no evidence of termites. I elected to have Hitmen do the work after a few phone calls revealed that no one else would be available to even give me a quote in the time required, much less get the work done to keep my refinance on track. The repair crew arrived exactly on time, and got to work. They were courteous from the start and efficient. Unfortunately, one of the areas of dry rot turned out to be termites once the fascia boards were pulled. They showed it to me, and explained all my options for treatment. Thankfully, the infestation was well contained, so they were able to spot treat the area. All of the work was completed within a day, and looked good. The only thing that keeps me from giving them 5 stars is that they will prime, but not paint. One area needed stucco repair, so that couldn't be painted for a few days, but the trim could have been. Easy enough for me to do, but would be nice to have that included in the service.

Yeah, I should have looked for a smaller company to do the work, but now that the rats are excluded I think we will go on our own and get our own black boxes.
