BEWARE! Zero stars if I could. i sent this company a copy of an inspection report that I had received from the seller of the property and asked for an estimate on the recommended repairs. I was told they would have to do their own inspection for which I was told there would be no cost. The inspecting technician seemed to do a thorough job and said his findings were almost exactly the same as the report I shared with them. Subsequently, I received a bill for $680 for the inspection. In addition, the cost for the repairs was over $13,000, more than double of the previous inspector. They also wanted over $2500 for bat exclusion which Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue is charging me $565. When I complained about the cost of the inspection and asked for some consideration, I was told if I had them do the work, there would be a concession. I feel I was seriously misled by this company. I believe there are many other companies that charge less for the same repairs and quality. I would never recommend this company. read more

The worst weed spraying company in Lake County. Will not recommend them. After 3 weeks the weeds are growing and multiplying. After three or 4 times spraying over a three month period, some weeds are growing and seeding and some of my plants are dead. I emailed her pictures and she still refuses to re-spray. She also refuses to say why I still have weeds. She should check with the weed killer company as to why it's not working. I just had another company come to spray. He said it would take less than two weeks to see them die. read more

Customer Service is poor and the inspection was shoddy, the Realtor even remarked how quickly the inspection was done. Noted wetness in crawlspace near kitchen, but didn't relate it to anything. Said the "toilet wiggled", but didn't relate it to anything. Toilets should not wiggle, ever. The rusted tubing from the toilet hose line should have been a tip off and if the area were really inspected, there would have been noticed the tremendous dry rot around the toilet base. Because of this poor inspection, I now have to replace the bathroom floor and toilet, something the Seller should have had to do prior to me purchasing. When the Colonel called in June for me while I was out of town, he asked to have the work repaired. He was very thorough in his communication and was given a date of July 31, 2023 to have the work done. Few days ago, Emma(?) called me saying the Realtor had cancelled the work. She said he knew nothing about it and since there were no notes (maybe their dog ate the notes?), she didn't know I had purchased the property and even tho I was noted as the Homeowner, she plead ignorance as to whether I purchased the property, so only talked with the Realtor and cancelled after 3 weeks. This makes no sense at all - essentially throwing away business. Further, though there is nowhere on the report that gives a period of time before the Termite Inspection "Expires", they wanted another $195 to do a reinspection. Why would I want to pay to have them reinspect something they missed the first time that was clearly dry rot, on top of the money to correct it now? I have not been able to use the toilet in that bathroom since I purchased, so why pay twice? Perhaps they are more aligned with ants and roaches service than property inspections. Not a professional job, poor customer service for something that should have been an easy fix the first time. And yes, there is a clear conflict of interest when you can call for work to be done and then be the one doing the work and being paid to correct what your inspection uncovered...or in this case, did not uncover. read more

Scammers-in my opinion. Consumers beware. If you decide to use this company, make sure you follow them when they do a termite inspection and watch every move. They claimed they found evidence of termites in a stake they found in our crawl space. We needed this done for a house loan. Unfortunately, the same people who do the inspection are allowed to allowed to sell you the remedy. We checked for the "stake" after they left and could not find it. When they came back we asked them to show us the stake. The evidence of termites turned out to be a tiny piece --under 3"--of aged, rotten tree wood that is found everywhere on hillsides in Lake County. We paid for their "services" rather than pay another company for an inspection and start over. read more

They are smacking my 85 year old mother who was never told that charge 185.00 for an inspection.My adult son was there and was never informed about this charge. There is nothing states a service charge when I read about there services. So now they have put this into collections. I feel that they are taking advantage of the elderly. She had me sign a contract with a bid of $1000. I thought more would be done all the service tech did was fill voids with spray foam and put mesh over my dryer vent? I was about at my wit's end when I finally discovered Armed Force Pest Control, and they were a Godsend. By the time I reached them I had quite a bit of background information regarding the situation I was trying to resolve, so I was immediately impressed that Dale, with whom I first spoke, knew so much. He showed up exactly on time, protected his shoes inside the house and explained everything he was doing. Overall our experience with Armed Force was so-so. Communication with Sara was great. Our tech, Randy, was amazing and he was such a pleasure to work with. I would give him a huge raise. For real, very cool guy who talked us through what he was doing and put up with my toddler bombarding him with a billion questions. The other tech who came out once was kind of terrible. They did a good job at sealing all the possible entrances rodents could come in through! And they gave us lots of tips. But when it came to trapping the damn rat, they could not help us. They tried! But it wasn't until many months later when we got a security camera and confirmed he was still living in our house that we took matters into our own hands. The snap traps just weren't working (Armed Force left several, we tried additional snap traps). So we bought a fancy and expensive electronic trap that finally got him. I don't fault them too much, this rat was really smart. But we paid a lot of money and expected a bit more help getting the rat. read more

If I had a choice, I'd give them no stars. Ive used them for more than a year now. This year has been brutal with ants. I requested them 3x to deal with the small sugar ants. Once, they baited my kitchen and it worked ~ but outside, not so much. I called after each application and was told "wait. 7-10days, it will work". It didn't. When they invaded my kitchen, I was told spraying around my walls would help. 2 days later, they invaded my kitchen cupboards, counters & refrigerator. When I asked for help? I was told "wait 7-10 days". Seriously?? They didn't even ask how bad the problem was! $98 later and I got that response. This company is all about the profit ~ NOT YOU. I have never been treated so poorly as a customer in my life! Not only did they just complete 1/2 the job I paid them ahead of time to do, they rescheduled three times and no showed once. They only sprayed the outside of my home when they knew I wanted the inside done primarily and charged me the full amount. After the final no-show, I put a stop payment on the check as I did not feel comfortable having people of such low professionalism and integrity in or near my home. I planned to pay them half the bill since they only did half the job and the owner sent my bill to collections. This is the first time I ever had to put a stop payment on a check. Luckily the debt collector was a professional and wise man, as he agreed I only owed half a bill which I paid. I went with Horns Pest control and they were excellent! They showed up and did the job I hired them to do. What a concept! I do not recommend anyone using this company as they were completely disrespectful and unprofessional. They need to take a class in customer service and professionalism. I do not see this company lasting very long with the way they are currently running their business. read more

Our technician was very thorough and even sprayed under our deck. The deck is 20 feet above ground, so it took a considerable amount of ingenuity to accomplish this task.
