They had a bad answering service, so they fired them and now phones go unanswered. Bills are never sent. Customers are somehow supposed to intuit what they owe despite not knowing what services cost nor what services are performed. Appointments are scheduled via text message. There is no way to communicate if that works but often the technician doesn't show. Most of the time our technician is very kind and will let us know. But he's taking that on himself. He also lets me know my balance due. But, it is up to the service rep. We didn't always have such great, caring guys.

I wish I had looked at the Yelp reviews before we engaged the services of Byron/Housecheck…read more Basically his report was pasting in the many pretty pictures he took into a long "boilerplate" document, void of almost any details about the several real, albeit thankfully relatively minor, problems that we saw on the property that definitely should have been documented. We gave him an opportunity to rectify the report, but he responded defensively, with jargon about his extensive qualifications and minute details of the contract that we did indeed sign with him. Lots of details I could provide but, as noted by others, just buyer beware. (one thing I will mention is that if you do hire him, a crawl space inspection may not get done do to "the presence of a snake".)
