Unfortunately, he never showed up and did not call or message me. I eventually had to contact him myself, only to find out that he had completely forgotten about the appointment. I had already explained that I work during normal business hours and that my availability is very limited. When I called him on Tuesday to discuss the situation, I tried to accommodate his schedule by offering to make myself available at 7:30 a.m. on any day, or even that evening, so that I could avoid taking another day off work. He told me that he could only work during his normal business hours, and the next available appointment he offered was the following Thursday. I understand that he has normal business hours, and I was not expecting him to completely change his schedule. However, after forgetting an appointment that I had specifically taken a half day off work for, I was disappointed that there was not more effort to address the inconvenience caused by the missed appointment. I also told him directly during our phone call that I felt the handling of the situation was very unprofessional. I don't normally go out of my way to leave negative reviews, but I believe customers should be able to provide honest feedback about their experiences. After I posted the review, he contacted me, apologized, and offered to complete the installation for free if I would take down the review. I appreciate the apology and the offer to make things right. However, during his response to my review, he also said that it showed "what type of person" I am. I found that comment to be very personal and unnecessary, especially since I had already contacted him directly and explained how I felt about the situation. Because of that, I do not feel comfortable taking down the review. I am sharing my honest experience as a customer, including both the original situation and his later attempt to resolve it.
