5 star Our hot water heater went out. We called our Home Warranty company and another company was given the job. Never heard from them, decided to call Arbeez. Richard was responsive and informative. He came out and told us the price of parts and labor would be almost as much as a new tank. BUT the parts are not arriving for 1-2 weeks. He suggested a new tank, he had and could install the following week. We chose the new tank. They arrived earlier than scheduled, kept us informed what they were doing. We were out of hot water for two weeks, but would have been longer if we waited for parts or tried to get Home Warranty company to find another plumber. Richard is an excellent resource for our plumbing needs. We have a house built in the 1960's that has needed a couple of repairs. Arbeez is great. I recently had a water heater failure. When I called Richard, he advised me to try the reset first (not as obvious as it sounds), which saved me all the expense and inconvenience of a service call. When I called Ben Franklin, a service call was the only option. They both returned my call promptly, but Ben Franklin was first, so I was able to cancel them out. Richard did repair a leaky sink connection perfectly as well a couple years ago. read more

It would have been great if Richard's abilities were as strong as his ego! What I found was his knowledge to be limited and his unsolicited comments about non-plumbing related matters annoying. I also found his pricing to be very high (considering what I got), verified that with a few local contractors I know and trust. I've experienced much better, won't be calling Richard again. read more
