I've been going here for years now and I just love the employees and the food they make. They are so kind.

This place is right by my office, so I keep coming back. I order the Fire Breather every time, which is a spicy chicken and pork with rice dish. So. Hot. So. Good. I think this place really needs to be cleaned up, though. I kind of get grossed out going to the restrooms and the back hallway has kind of turned into a storage area. I don't feel comfortable eating in the dining area just because I question the overall cleanliness of the whole restaurant. I just hope the kitchen isn't as bad as the restrooms! I might try to find another Teriyaki place nearby that is a little cleaner, but I keep coming back in the mean time, so I guess it's not bad enough to keep me away. read more

Food was served up quite quickly, but I didn't stay long, so I can't comment on the cleanliness on the restrooms, which I've seen in other reviews. Atmosphere: 5/5 The place is decorated pretty nicely, and there's a couple tables for seating. Food: 4/5 I got the chicken teriyaki with salad and spring roll. The spring roll was large, fresh, and crispy. Teriyaki was good, but not the best I've had. The salad was a little small. Overall, okay to good food and big portions. I love this place. I've been here 4 times since I moved to WA last month and I'm always so excited for food that I scarf it before I get a picture. And you know my reviews!! They always have photos!! What can I say? Good prices. Good food. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. It's always a pleasure to visit!! The chicken teriyaki is classic. You can't go wrong with it! I wasn't super stoked with the General Tsos but this is a teriyaki place! The lunch specials are a great deal. The gyosa is fresh and crispy! Just yum. Upon ordering the spicy chicken teriyaki here you will find none of those flavors but instead you can get bombarded with sambal oelek coating overcooked chicken. On top of that, the portion size were that of the kids menu and all of our salads wound up on top of the chicken giving it a vinegary after taste. Don't bother. read more

The excuse is "some people don't want them"...well don't give them to some people...but give them to the people who request them. My favorite options are their orange chicken with eggroll and chicken curry katsu. The orange chicken isn't the best I've had but at least its freshly fried and the quantity is good for the price. I would not recommend their beef as it tasted like a sugary mess, their pork is ok in their combo 2 but I wouldn't recommend the combo 2. Maybe I'm too used to eating high quality beef with good fat content from costco, but that should be how good beef taste like. Teriyaki chicken is alright. read more

I work down the street from this place and even with the mixed reviews decided to give it a try. Not too bad overall, paid $8.71 for teriyaki chicken breast with gyoza, rice and salad. Chicken was kinda dry, Iceberg salad with carrots, gummy rice with your typical teri-jelly sauce, but that's kinda what I expected. Gyoza and sauce was actually pretty good (but it's deep fried, so hey!) Most certainly not write home to mom and tell all your friends...but I really didn't want to eat the micro mac and cheese I took to work! I've most certainly suffered through worse "only thing near work" lunches, and they were SUPER fast getting me in and out. Will come back and try other things because they have so much. read more

I very rarely post about a place on Yelp, but I was so disappointed with what I got I felt I needed to share. I ordered their Bibimbap bowl through BibimBowl (apparently is owned by this place) and paid just under $30 for that and their kimchi fried rice to be delivered with Uber Eats. Man, so disappointed. I ordered a beef bibimbowl and got chicken (I hate chicken) but was so hungry I ate it anyway. It was literally a bowl of white rice with a small amount of veggies (broccoli, carrots and cabbage) some chicken and teriyaki sauce with an egg on top - the sauce was not so great. The egg on top was so fried is was rubbery. The kimchi fried rice was swimming in oil, although I will say the flavor was better than the bowl, but not by much. What on Earth? We ordered from this place last week on Wednesday I believe, and ordered the vegan combo plate and some vegetable tempura. The combo is called the Yoga Master combo and comes with vegan tofu soba and rice with a vegan eggroll. We placed this order through grub hub and we got pork potstickers, chicken eggrolls, beef, chicken, and egg-fried rice. None of which we could eat, and it took 2 hours to arrive. Thank goodness Grub Hub ended up refunding our order after the restaurant wouldn't return their calls. Get your sh** together. Since I started my job in Bothell in March, I've tried to explored anywhere I can walk. And, this Teriyaki joint is one of them. I ordered Teriyaki chicken with broccoli. It took forever!!! People came after me ordered exactly the same thing and got their orders before me. Not sure how their ordering process worked! I got a to-go. I didn't get to see when I was in the store. I had no other choice but to come here (Subway doesn't count as a choice imo!) - I was starving and it's right by the hotel I'm staying at tonight. It was pretty confusing to see one of those generic hamburger and fries posters on the wall, because well... they don't offer that stuff here. I got excited too soon! The chef recommended the orange and teriyaki chicken combo, so I said sure and handed over almost 8 bucks. I've been coming to this Teriyaki joint on and off ever since they opened a few years back (3 years), I've tried most items on the menu. My favorites are combo 2 (fire-breather), Combo 3 (taste of Korea). but you have a large selection and options, they also offer standard white rice or brown rice and have special diet option on the menu. I ate here a month or so ago, so the review won't be PRECISE in terms of recollection. I ordered a chicken teriyaki meal. Was like $7.50 or so. Service was fine and all, but the portions were much smaller than I was expecting. Most teriyaki places, I have to force myself to eat it all (not in a bad way... I'm a fit guy that loves great tasting food), but here, the meal barely satisfied me in terms of it's size... and I only weigh 120lbs. Been here a few times and tried a couple different things on the menu. Personally I don't find the food as bad as some of the other reviews I think it depends a bit on what your expectations are and what you order essentially; but the customer service is bad; and that's being generous. The woman at the front who has taken my order every time I've been there is a robot. Literally wants you to pay and get out; not friendly at all. One of the days I came in and the store was a bit busier than usual; she appeared to be very flustered and panicked. I placed my order and payed with debit and stepped to the side so the next person in line could order. She was so panicked because of all the people in her store she thought the guy behind me had ordered and said an order before he even could even say anything.. He looked at her in confusion "I didn't even order"; Even when the store is not busy she gives off the "Done done, on to the next one" attitude when ringing people up. Onto the food which I can speak on a more positive note about; they have a nice diverse menu and the combo meals are a solid choice. Do not order the "Vegan" meal and expect good things though; noodles are unreasonably greasy even for noodles; tofu was good. All the meat combos I've tried are good and so I tend to stick with those. Overall; Food - Menu that suits most tastes and is about what you'd expect out of an average teriyaki place. Reasonable portions; food quality is good on some dishes; hit or miss on others. As other reviews have touched on; orders do not come out in the order they were taken. They gave me some kind of brown rice not WHITE RICE. The teriyaki sauce is horrible and they literally gave me 5 leafs of lettuce. I recommend going to matsu or kings teriyaki . It's worth the extra six minute drive. The effort that they put in the food is low here. read more

I came here during the most recent power outage in the area. The place was very busy, so wait times were relatively long. Despite this, the owners were very friendly and accommodating, doing their best to make sure people got their meals in the order in which they were put in. It was towards the end of the night so they were out of some items on the menu (salmons and prawns, for example) but they tried to come up with substitutions for the people who wanted those items, which I thought was nice. As for the food, it was fresh and very tasty. I really like that they don't use MSG, as I tend to get migraines from it. Portions were generous without being ridiculous, and the price was right. The food here is pretty average, but when the neighboring options are Quiznos and Subway, you suddenly start seeing this teriyaki joint through beer goggles x1000. The menu is pretty varied - chicken, pork, beef, salmon, shrimp, tofu (and combos of everything) and they are great with substitutions. You can get brown instead of white rice or you can skip the rice altogether and ask for extra veggies. Portions are massive! I ordered the "tofuyaki" (tofu teriyaki, duh) and I think I got a whole package of fried tofu and a brick of brown rice. I eat a lot, but this was easily enough for two lunches for me. It's rare that I leave food on the plate but I just could not conquer my lunchbox. The tofu was tasty, freshly fried, and covered in what is apparently a sugar-free marinade. They cook everything to order (and you can see them making it) so you do have to wait a few minutes for your food but I was fine with that. Ok, so it's a few bucks more than the $5 footlong that you can get next door, but it's definitely worth it. read more

When I entered the facility, I was greeted by a man who had no expression. The facility was nice and clean, nothing special. While waiting for my Teriyaki I started to read all their newspaper clippings that was taped to the side of the wall. This got me excited and even hungrier. I took my order home and proceeded to eat it. Unfortunately it didn't compare too well to other Teriyaki stores. However, some of the impressive aspects of this place that makes it so unique is they take online ordering, have sugar-free teriyaki sauce, and also substitute rice for steamed cabbage. I think the food quality may have changed due to change of workers? I'll wait a few months a try back again. Hopefully, it'll be better. read more

I LOVE this place! They have a lot of great menu items, including plenty of vegetarian/vegan options. Every time we come in, the employees are REALLY nice and the food is delicious and quick. My husband gets a meat combo and loves it, and I always get their tofuyaki, which is basically tofu over white rice. They have a nice and varied drink selection and they give you extra teriyaki if you want it. I highly recommend this place! read more

Do not order online. I walk here from time to time and usually have good service. They either had given my order away or just hadn't made it yet. Since they have gone to electronic ordering and multiple ipad registers the services has slowed down. There is a new employee or owner. He appears to get frustrated with the young women in the front constantly and then teases the customers. One time he teased someone fro bringing in subway. The poor guy just left. What if he was going to order from you and saw how you acted and decided to leave. The teriyaki is hit and miss. I feel like since its gotten more popular the quality has gone down. When I first went to Teriyaki Etc the food was good and I enjoyed the experience. However the last two times I've gone there they have messed up my order. The previous time I ordered Beef teriyaki and received an order of Chicken Teriyaki. The teriyaki was still good so I thought I could forgive a simple mistake However today was the second time my order was made incorrectly. Today I ordered their Tempura Shrimp. What I found when I opened my food container was a shrimp skewer. At first I thought at least I got the same protein that I ordered and was planning to eat it anyways... Until I saw that the shrimp they substituted instead of what I ordered hadn't been cleaned. Each shrimp on the skewer still had their vein and were full of dirt and... Well, it just wasn't appetizing anymore. I didn't get my shrimp tempura, and the shrimp I did receive was inedible. Needless to say I'm not impressed. read more

There are two fantastic elements to this teriyaki palace... the first and more obvious is the food quality itself. The Firebreather combo was delicious, super spicy, and totally filling. It took 12 minutes from start to finish to walk out with my food, and I felt really stupid having not purchased anything to drink. I confess, I spent a good deal of the drive home lightly sweating, partially from the sun, mostly from the kickin' chicken and shrimp. The egg rolls were delicious too, but that's generally a no-brainer for teriyaki joints. The true gem of this place is the sheer extent of the menu. With items ranging from Japanese-ish to Korean to french fries, it would be hard to find the person who can't find something they enjoy. I hope I have a reason to go back up to Bothell at some point so I can give a teriyaki joint version of Bi Bim Bop a try. Prices are totally reasonable for the portion sizes. I guess it is too hard. but Teriyaki Etc always has it no matter what time of day I go in. Went here while waiting for the exotic animal vet next door. I ordered the combo 4 because it said it came with Tofuyaki and vegetable egg rollS with an S I checked. I expected it to be a type of tofu teriyaki based on the name but I guess it's a yakisoba instead. My mistake I guess but definitely dissapointing and confusing. The food is good and the very friendly staff gets your order out quick. They've got a pretty extensive menu but I have yet to venture to beyond the normal teriyaki and orange chicken. Sometimes the portions are a little smaller than I'd like. Overall, a decent meal but nothing too exciting. But let's face it, there aren't many alternatives that close. I've only been here once and I thought from the name, they were only going to serve Teriyaki (guess I missed the "etc" part) but they actually have a lot of other staple Japanese items (tempura, curry, soba) and even some Chinese items on their menu. I ordered the tempura over rice set and that came with some veggie tempura and 2 shrimp tempura (but they used the breaded batter instead of the normal tempura and they used butterfly shrimp). Everything I've eaten here is super yummy! I love that they have the option of sugar-free and low-carb. The massive variety menu can cater to any flavor my palate decides on. Their daily specials change, so I usually try these... The quality of the food is A+ with large portion sizes. Clean. My favorites are the combination plates and the spicy chicken with brown rice. Mmm! Staff is friendly. Prices are on the higher affordable side for a teriyaki joint but great for the variety of healthy options. They are open M-F 10am-8pm, closed on weekends, primarily because the majority of businesses around are only M-F worker bees. read more

I usually know exactly what I'm ordering before I walk into a Teriyaki joint. I've eaten here many, many times, and their menu is so broad that I always end up trying something new every time.
