I had a horrible experience with Temperature Control. My AC stopped working on July 3rd 2023, I hired Temperature Control to diagnose the issue. I already suspected it was the blower fan motor, and Tony the Tech from Temperature Control confirmed my suspicion. However, he made it sound like a nightmare, claiming it was a rare "legacy" part that would be extremely difficult and expensive to obtain. He even went so far as to say he couldn't provide an accurate estimate. After disappearing into his truck, Tony returned with what he called "4 options" for me, each with shockingly high prices ranging from $2,186.43 to a staggering $21,874. The fixed included a $701.55 charge to clean the blower wheel. As if that wasn't enough, he then tried to convince me to purchase a completely new AC system, persisting for about 30 minutes. Seeing through their tactics, I told them I needed time to think and sent them away. Refusing to be taken advantage of, I decided to call another company for a second opinion. They promptly examined my AC and fixed the issue for a mere $560, which included a simple cleaning of the blower wheel using a basic hose. I asked the other company if it was a hard blower motor to obtain and they stated that it was the most common motor. In my opinion, Temperature Control operates in bad faith, preying on people in vulnerable situations. Their attempt to exploit my urgent need for AC repair by proposing exorbitant prices and pushing unnecessary replacements is utterly despicable. I strongly advise others to steer clear of this company and seek more honest and reputable alternatives. read more

Temperature Control was the last company I came across on Angie's List to get a quote on completely replacing my HVAC system. They were PHENOMENAL! Brock was the rep who showed up to my home, gave me a run down of the local business and what they offer, and gave me a quote. He was super nice and also assured me the company could price match the lowest quote I came across, and they totally delivered on that promise. About 3 months after meeting Brock and gathering more quotes, I sent him my lowest quote and he came $100 less than that! By this time, my HVAC burned out (on a Thursday) and I was also scared it was going to take them weeks to come out for installation. After going through scheduling and payment options, they said they could come out the following week (that upcoming Tuesday)! A technician, Dan, came out the following day to pre-measure. Then came installation a few days later. Dustin, Tony, and Juan the installation technicians, were so pleasant and worked diligently to replace my entire system. After the installation, Dustin balanced the airflow and walked me through how to work the new thermostat they installed. 10/10 would recommend and would 100% use them again! read more

I needed to replace my exisiting A/C and furnace so I called Temperature Control and got an estimate. I was so pleased with Tony's bid and the fact that Rheem was offering 60 month no-interest financing! What a deal! Claudio and Rolando did an excellent job installing the system, including the air scrubber...I can tell they both take pride in their work. Julian was here 2 days later to perform the vent cleaning and pressure testing. He did an outstanding job and I feel like my vents are finally cleaned to my standards! Shawn was very informative about our system and what would be needed to keep the unit running efficiently. He also informed us of the routine maintenance plans offered by Temperature Controls. In addition, during the inspection of our unit he brought to our attention services that should have been performed by our previous carrier that were not done and proceeded to correct the deficiencies. Today I had Reggie and Caesar come out to unclog my kitchen sink. When you are elderly and have arthritis in your hands, you need help. They worked quickly and were very nice. I liked that they brought all the supplies they needed and cleaned up the sink so I could disenfect it. I tried plumbing services from other companies or individual plumbers and have not been as satisfied. Unlike other companies who say they will do a service call once or twice a year but never get back with you, I recently received a notification from Temperature Control to set up my service call appointments. Not only was the cost measurably less than any other quote we received, but the quality of service was astounding. The crew were professional, knowledgeable, informative and respectful. They welcomed our many questions through the process and throughout the long day they never once stopped working. They cleaned up as they worked and removed all debris before departing. Eddie and Eliott finished off the plumbing on my bathroom and I couldn't be happier with their work. Eddie stated out the job doing the rough plumbing for the work you don't see waste lines under floor and revised water and vent lines in the walls.
