Ted's Bulletin always delivers--consistent quality and service across all their DMV locations. I've been a regular at TB for a while now, and it never disappoints. We had a lovely brunch at the Reston location and sat outside with our dog. The service really stood out, the server even brought a bowl of water for our pup, which was such a thoughtful touch. The food was great as always, and our server was fantastic, adding to an already enjoyable experience. Absolutely love this location and will definitely be back again soon!

Brunch Pasta

I have been to Ted's bulletin numerous times. I have never had poor service there. The ambiance has always been amazing. The food has always been good. Recently, I had their brunch pasta. It was a perfect dish. The sauce was silky, creamy, cheesy, and savory. It was also spicy, which surprisingly complemented the other flavors in the dish. The poached egg was creamy and perfectly cooked. The pasta was al dente and was coated perfectly with the sauce. I highly recommend this dish. The steak and eggs were also lovely. The home fries were nicely crispy on the outside and soft and mushy on the inside. The scrambled eggs were moist. I liked their chimichuri sauce too. The steak was well seasoned and nicely cooked to our specifications. All in all, I enjoyed the dish and would recommend it as well. Give this place a visit!

One year later and they continue to hit the mark. Nate, who sat me at table 43 was the smile I needed this morning. As I sit here I see him continue to hustle, seating customers. Carlos my waiter had a few tables he was working this morning. But, he was on top of it giving each table the attention they deserved all while hustling. He was very cordial. This visit I opted for the steak breakfast burrito, a strawberry tart, and a blackberry cucumber nojito. Carlos told me it was the TUBS in a burrito, with a little extra special touches. Sold. The kitchen staff were getting the job done. The attention to detail was noticed. The kitchen is open for all to see. What I appreciated was how quit they were. You never really heard them "screaming" out orders ready or talking loudly to each other. Every kitchen is different. But, having an open concept you have to act a certain way. I was very comfortable in my booth seating. My burrito came out pretty fast. I appreciate that the steak was smaller pieces. It's easier to navigate and eat. I was worried it would be long slivers of steak. But size pieces is the way to go for this burrito. The steak had fantastic flavor! It was marinated nicely. My burrito was $17. I think that's pretty fair for what I received. It was large, lots of steak and egg. It's the perfect protein packed meal. My blackberry cucumber nojito was the perfect start to a day for me. I decided I needed something for fun the. The average orange juice or apple juice. It's ok to treat yourself sometimes. Don't feel guilty. I LOVED that they had mocktails. I seriously think there is a market for mocktails and restaurants are starting to get the idea. I really have to compliment all the staff here. They hustle, are respectful to each other and customers. They are delivering service with a smile and having small conversations with their customers. They are really hitting that personal friend/family vibe. A great place!

We went here to get a quick breakfast on a busy day. We sat at the bar and were helped and served pretty quickly. The avocado taost was pretty solid. The peppers and radishes added a great crunch. My eggs were slightly overcooked. But it got the job done and really we just needed something quick so this was great.

First off: just WOW on the vibes end! It's so upscale Gatsby-esque! They really upped their menu as well! I came in for brunch, and the views were stunning along with the amazing food! Their strawberry matcha latte came with fresh strawberries. The matcha was lighter than usual, but it was still good. Brunch pasta: I absolutely loved their brunch pasta! It was so creamy and cheesy and so filling. If you like brunch foods and pasta, order this!!! Avocado toast: The bread was perfectly toasted and crunchy, and the flavor profile was delicious!! Service: Our waitress was a gem! I wish I remembered her name but she brought the laughs and the vibes.

Came in for a business lunch on a weekday. The place gets busy at lunch, but we got there before the lunch rush. The menu is loaded with some fun and tasty things, including their amazing breakfast items. I chose their new Szechuan Hot Chicken Sandwich for lunch and it was AMAZING! The heel on the bun was a little too small though and it wouldn't pickup properly without ending up all in my lap (or on the table), so I fork & knifed the sandwich...but WOW, it was amazing! So very tasty and I loved the hot sauce they dipped it in. The slaw on it was also incredible! And those fries were great too! Our server, Julissa was great at taking care of our table and offering suggestions... In fact, I went with this chicken sandwich after conferring with her first - thanks! Overall, I have to say that this was yet another really nice meal at a Ted's! I'd most definitely return!!

My girlfriends and I recently had a lovely brunch at Ted's Bulletin in Reston, VA, and it did not disappoint! One of the best things about this location is the space--it's large enough to comfortably handle a steady weekend crowd. We arrived on a Sunday around 11 a.m. without a reservation and were seated right away. Service was top-notch. Our waitress was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. We enjoyed the French toast and steak and eggs which were definitely the standout, but don't sleep on their signature homemade pop tarts--a must-try! A solid brunch spot with great food, great service, and no weekend wait? That's a 10/10 in my book!

Chicken Cutlet Biscuit with American Cheese and Scrambled Egg

Food was I would say an 8.5 out of 10. I am a Biscuit sandwich snob and I have to say this sandwich left some to be desired. It needed a sauce to really bring all the flavors together. As this was a to-go order as part of their to-go menu, fortunately enough I had some Hot Honey to add to every bite. The biscuit was ~$9 for reference. Service here was ok. There was this waitress at the front that seemed disinterested and disengaged, who also had no clue about the To-Go Menu when I had asked. After showing a social media AD regarding the menu, did only a gentleman who was their coworker - recognize the menu and point me in the right direction. You have to order at the counter next to where the pop-tarts are on display. As these sandwiches are made-to-order, it takes about 15 minutes for them to be made. So it's probably best to just order it online for pickup. Ambiance of this restaurant is nice. It was pretty packed for a Saturday AM - so expect a wait for last minute walk-ins.

Update to original review: place is great. Prompt seating, friendly service, (we always like the) great food.

Happy hour menu
Carol D.

This is our favorite happy hour in Reston Town Center- and there are a ton of seating and the bartenders are really nice. Food (4/5): My favorite is the lobster roll (summer seasonal menu) and the truffle fries are delicious. Service (5/5): Chris and Chelsea are really nice bartenders. Ambiance (4/5): it's never crowded here. The bar area for happy is great.

Delicious latte. HUGE cup

Came here to celebrate Father's Day with my family, and it was a good choice! They have plenty of selections to choose from, which was great for someone picky like my daughter lol The waiter did a great job with balancing all of his tables and still being able to check on us. He made sure we had everything and was quick with service. The overall vibe (at least for that day) was very busy, but the manager was walking around to keep tabs on different parties to see who should be leaving next. This helped keep the flow of the foot traffic going and keep the wait time down I've come to this location a few times, and each time it has been a great time. I'd recommend any location for the food and this one for it's service!

Cherry Blossom and Peeps Tart
Annie L.

Soooo yummy! Ordered the Big Mark Breakfast, Cinnamon Toast Crunch Latte, and Tarts. The filling in the tarts didn't seem to differ much - we couldn't really tell the difference between the Blueberry Cheesecake and Cherry Blossom tart. But regardless, everything was really tasty. One piece of feedback I will leave is that the menus were a little dirty - could use replacing.

Cheeseburger

My sister had suggested Ted's because she had been here before and I understand why she won't have to go back, the service was great, the food was incredible. I got the huevos rancheros and they were so flavorful & filling, our waiter Carlos was great, very attentive. The atmosphere had a great vibe, very chill and warm, I will absolutely be coming here again.

Where is convenient parking for restaurant?

There's parking garages on market street or democracy drive where you can leave your car. But you'll have to pay after 30 minutes unless you go on a weekend, federal holiday, or a weekday after 5 pm!

Do they do their mimosa deal on Saturdays or just on Sundays?

Every day!!!!!

The bar area is self-seating.I chose to sit in the bar area...the only remaining big table with high chairs/table...it was packed! The happy hour is pretty awesome here. They have daily happy hour from 4-6 pm, which is pretty awesome, starting early and ending late. There is also a power hour from 3-6, where everything on the happy hour menu is $5, which is a little early!! The menu includes regular bar food and a variety of drinks (as shown in the picture). We ordered the following: -Let that "man"go - in general it's an iced drink, so I'd avoid. -Spicy pina marg - another iced drink. It was ok. -I'm Ron Burgundy (2x)- this had a nice strong coffee flavor, doesn't come with ice; I would highly recommend it...they made it so good!!! -Maker's mini nachos - There proportion of chips to toppings was off there wasn't enough toppings and too many chips, but there was a lot of cheese. -Calamari was a good portion, and tasty -Chicken tenders - they were delicious and moist There are so many items to choose from on the power hour/happy hour menu. I would definitely recommend lil B and the wings. There was live music, which was just way too loud for such a small space. We would have been okay with all the music. I've only ever ordered takeout from Kindi Chicken Rice but I liked that the fried chicken was still crispy and juicy when I brought it back home. Would I order again? : I would order again if I'm in the mood. When I was living in Philly, I used to love frequenting Cily Chicken Rice, which was also a Thai-style hainanese chicken rice spot. So, when I moved to NOVA, I was excited to find a similar restaurant nearby. Unfortunately, Kindi Chicken Rice isn't quite as good but it's still pretty decent. The ginger-garlic rice doesn't have enough garlic flavor and was a little dry. Also, I didn't like the ratio of chicken to rice; there was only six pieces of chicken for all the rice that was given. Lastly, the daikon soup had the classic peppery taste but lacked salt/umami flavor. But I did like that the daikon was sliced whereas the daikon in the Cily Chicken Rice soup is just one hunk of daikon.

Despite being a popular and often busy restaurant, the service remains efficient and welcoming. The staff is consistently courteous and accommodating, and we were seated promptly without issue. Their ability to maintain a high level of hospitality, even during peak times, speaks well to their overall operation. The atmosphere strikes a nice balance. There is a comfortable, family-friendly environment inside, complete with menu options for children, while the outdoor seating area offers a more vibrant, metropolitan feel--ideal for small groups or those looking to enjoy a lively setting. From a value standpoint, the pricing is reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the overall experience. When our server Soledad passed by, I told her I noticed our entrees were ready and asked if we could get them. Definitely had good recommendations and was honest about what was good to try. He was super attentive and the food came out relatively quick. Food 12/10 The food was greatttttt!!!!! We started out with the focaccia which was light and fluffy. It paired well with the olive oil and balsamic vinegar dipping oil. I had the spicy rigatoni and my friend had the lasagna. We were very happy with our entrees. My pasta was creamy spicy and very flavorful! Not going to lie should have order another for to-go. For dessert I got the seasonal butter cake which had caramel, bananas and vanilla ice cream. It was fabulous and the perfect way to finish off the night. My friend got the tiramisu and she loved it as well. I need to come back here again to try more food because man.... Everything was great!

This place is really good but WAY overpriced. The plates were melamine....sorry way overpriced to…read moreserve in melamine. It reminds me a little bit of Vapianos, esp with the open kitchen concept. We went for mothers day. The lady could not find my reservation. i had to show her. but something is wrong with their system because this happened to a friend of mine back in February as well. They ran out of ranch and N/A prosseco. It is okay bc the food was good. We ordered the fried zucca chips. OVERLY SALTED. did not enjoy. The burrata was delicious. I would get that again. The chicken parmesan was delicious. but it was odd it came with mac and cheese ziti or some kind of cheese sauce. Usually you serve chicken parm with spaghetti and sauce? The Bolognese was delicious and same with the chicken pesto. My sister got a arugula steak salad. The steak was really rare and they didnt even ask how she wanted it cooked. the little gem caesar was good but it had way too much dressing. way too much. the dessert was delicious. butter cake was amazing! Drinks: Cocktails were really good but OVERPRICED. $16-$17 dollars for a non fancy italian spot is wild. Ciao Bella was delicious though. I would probably come here again but it is overpriced.

It's been a while since I came here, but I LOVE Barcelona! The happy hour deals are pretty good. I…read morewish they had more wine options on the happy hour menu specifically red wine. The service was great, our waitress and fast, kind, and checked in with our group the perfect amount of times. The food was all amazing. They're fairly small portions so you do end up spending quite a bit, but the quality is great! If you want the paella you have to order right when you arrive cause it's 30 mins to 45 mins for them to cook it. Paella Salvaje* 5/5 Grilled octopus 5/5 Spiced Beef Empanadas 3.5/5 (tasted like pasta on the inside no spice lol) hanger steak 5/5 Happy hour trio deal Patatas Bravas 3/5 meatballs 4/5 Chicken Jamón Croquettes 4.5/5 Wines were alright. We ordered the sherry dessert wine which was not a fan fave. The sparkling white wine on the HH was refreshing and pretty good, very dry. Overall, always a good experience. It wasn't too crazy on a Thursday night. The inside ambiance is nicer at night time than day time. I'll have to go back for HH again and order some apps and paella.

Barcelona Reston delivers a strong tapas experience with a few minor misses. The menu has a great…read morevariety, and overall the food quality is impressive. The standout for me was the patatas bravas--perfectly crispy potatoes paired with a spectacular garlic aioli. The truffle sheep's cheese was also outstanding, rich and flavorful, although the truffle honey didn't quite deliver on its promise--I could barely taste the truffle. It also only came with one slice of toasted bread, but thankfully the bread service helped stretch the dish (and even then, there was still cheese left over). The spiced beef empanadas were nicely crisp and satisfying. The grilled octopus, however, was just okay--slightly over-charred, which made it hard to fully appreciate the flavor. On the other hand, the paella salvaje was excellent, loaded with chicken, gaucho sausage, pork belly, chickpeas, and pickled onions. Definitely a must-order--but be sure to put it in early since it takes a while to prepare. For dessert, the flan catalan was a great finish--not overly sweet and nicely balanced. The wine list is another highlight, with plenty of good options available by the glass. We ordered the paella first and followed it with four tapas, which ended up being plenty of food for four people. Pricing came out to about $45 per person before tip, which felt reasonable for the quality and quantity. The interior has a warm, stylish vibe with lots of wood and dark tones, though it does feel a bit cramped--tables and booths are quite close together, and it can get pretty loud. Service was friendly and well-paced. It does get busy during peak hours, so reservations are highly recommended (they use Tock). Overall, a great spot for tapas with a lively atmosphere--just be prepared for some noise and tight seating.
