(...and I hardly ever give 5 stars ;-) I had 2 very successful repairs there, just never got around to writing a review: Firstly, about a year ago, when my pc all of a sudden got really slow, I brought it in to Best Buy...a horrible experience by the way: The (very impatient) guy there started the pc several times, then force shut it down each time, by simply pulling the plug, then opened it and started unscrewing parts of it in front of my eyes, to then simply tell me, I needed a new pc! When I got home, the pc wouldn't start up anymore at all!! I was extremely upset, to say the least. I really needed a second opinion, and so went to Apex, here in Malden. They were super friendly, and immediately figured out the problem: The Best Buy guy had purposefully switched two cables inside the pc, so it wouldn't start up anymore!! (...of course I went back and filed a complaint and will never go there again!!) But the most amazing thing was, since this only took 5 min., it was free of charge! I couldn't believe it, because Best Buy had offered me to keep my "trash" to either get rid of it for me, or fix it for "roughly $500"...!! I certainly learned my lesson!! The second time I had computer problems a few days ago, I went there again, and just like before, they were able to take care of the problem within minutes (my pc is 6 years old, so I am always worried it might say goodbye for good). I'm not super computer savvy, but even my tech- friends hadn't been able to figure out the problem each time...so again, it is worth so much when you can trust people with more knowledge, rather having to worry that they will take advantage of you to make a quick buck. Again, super friendly service, I want to especially thank Jose, who even remembered me from before and answered every question I had with a smile. I'm all for supporting local businesses, so I'm "doubly happy" I found them.;-)) 5 stars all around!!!

I spoke with Scott and he was very patient with me and rather than trying to make money off of me on only a chance that the laptop could be fixed, he was honest with me and advised me to get a new laptop and explained why and what to look for. I really appreciate the honesty and customer service. I would recommend this business.

    Had a very positive experience at Best Buy Everett. The store is on the small size as compared to…read morethe Best Buy i am user to in Texas. The Geek Squad desk was very helpful with a computer repair that need to take place rapidly. The technician Dylan was very knowledgeable and very organized. He was virtually helping three clients at the same time - multitasking like a FAA airport control in he middle of a crisis. Jesus was also super helpful and patient as he helped me identified a decent computer deal for my son. We had to buy a replacement. Value is on the expense side, despite the Total package. Best Buy has started to charge a fee for $100 even when it is the computer that has some serious keyboard defects. So that was less cool. Be aware- The roundabout to get to the Best Buy is a nightmare of traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the roundabout. Overall, smaller size store with professional and dedicated staff.

    I thought I was going to have great service when it came to installing a remote starter. I was SO…read moreWRONG. 200$ for the membership truly isn't worth it. Multiple things worked prior to it being set up, and after it was wired up, they weren't working well. My driver side air vent was completely blocked and the wiring looked like vomit. Extremely disappointed. Nothing was appropriately wired up and "clean"... Everything was everywhere. Can you believe that the person that installed it for me at Best buy put everything in the driver side air vent so no air could go out? Then I went back the following week for things to get cleaned up, and nothing got fixed after I mentioned that it wasn't working. I'm all done with the $200 a year membership, it's not worth it I would rather go to a professional. I feel bad for the guy working there.
