Had a very positive experience at Best Buy Everett. The store is on the small size as compared to the Best Buy i am user to in Texas. The Geek Squad desk was very helpful with a computer repair that need to take place rapidly. The technician Dylan was very knowledgeable and very organized. He was virtually helping three clients at the same time - multitasking like a FAA airport control in he middle of a crisis. Jesus was also super helpful and patient as he helped me identified a decent computer deal for my son. We had to buy a replacement. Value is on the expense side, despite the Total package. Best Buy has started to charge a fee for $100 even when it is the computer that has some serious keyboard defects. So that was less cool. Be aware- The roundabout to get to the Best Buy is a nightmare of traffic. It took me 45 minutes to get out of the roundabout. Overall, smaller size store with professional and dedicated staff. read more

I thought I was going to have great service when it came to installing a remote starter. I was SO WRONG. 200$ for the membership truly isn't worth it. Multiple things worked prior to it being set up, and after it was wired up, they weren't working well. My driver side air vent was completely blocked and the wiring looked like vomit. Extremely disappointed. Nothing was appropriately wired up and "clean"... Everything was everywhere. Can you believe that the person that installed it for me at Best buy put everything in the driver side air vent so no air could go out? Then I went back the following week for things to get cleaned up, and nothing got fixed after I mentioned that it wasn't working. I'm all done with the $200 a year membership, it's not worth it I would rather go to a professional. I feel bad for the guy working there. read more

My friend and I came in with to get a remote car starter installed after having been purchased over a month ago and an appointment booked. We looked for a garage we could pull into but only found a single one with the door closed. We ventured into to have the first person at the door direct us to the Geeksquad. The Geeksquad member proceeds to walk us over to the back of the garage where there were two employees there. They asked if we had the remote starter on us which we didn't. We awkwardly walked back towards the desk next to Geeksquad called customer service pick up/drop off and grabbed the remote starter there. That employee directed us back to the garage where we were then able to sign the appropriate paperwork and start the installation process. He informed us it could take up to two hours so we decided to grab lunch. About an hour after, we received a call to inform us it was all set and to return to the garage. As we still hadn't eaten, we asked if we can come later to pick it up. He said as long as it's before 8 pm, then its not a problem at all. He patiently showed us how to use the remote starter and that is included a lifetime warranty. Will come again! read more

The place was a mess, I am in a wheelchair and multiple isles were covered with product that needed to be put on the shelf causing a major osha violation. When I went to the toy aisle in the far back right corner stuff was scattered everywhere. I found the chia pet I was looking to purchase, only to find out when I got home it expired in August 2022. I also wanted to buy razor gift wrap paper which I located, but had no price on it and ended up paying a disgusting amount. I was not asked for my phone number to apply points. Today when I tried to call and make my complaints to a manager I went on a wild goose hunt with being directed to workers in India. Bought a chrome book in December 2023, within 3 months was corrupted and could not get it to work. They had to send it out and it would be at least 2 weeks. They obviously sold me a POS and then wouldn't even offer me a loaner, what am I supposed to do without a computer for 2 weeks!!! I only received one update in all that time and went to the store 2 weeks later find out what is going on. Then they tell me they can't fix it and will send me a new one. Would NOT offer a refund. He never tried to upsell us and he was extremely patient with all of our questions. I purchased a Sony A8h for after taxes 1380ish. I go and try to pick up my Tv and they have decided to charge me incorrectly over 1000 more based on a new sale date. I purchased items a week before but had to wait for store pickup. They were unable to price match their own prices. The management was not helpful because their hands are tied on matching prices from their own store. The phone reps are like speaking to a checklist rep so they were unhelpful.. They ultimately have me the TV I didn't want that is a cheaper model. I spend so much with best buy. Only 1 guy checked in with us but soon disappeared also. At the end, we couldn't wait any longer so we left with no help and no one even care. Monday morning was a big day for me. I had been waiting two weeks for my Best Buy credit card to come in the mail. Don't ask me if I called CitiBank to ask if I could get my card details electronically, there was no chance. For two weeks I came home from work to check the mail for a piece of plastic. The card finally came in on a Saturday, but I had a friend in town visiting so I had to wait until Monday morning after dropping her off at the airport to go to Best Buy. The anticipation this weekend was high. I'm leaving Boston Logan through Chelsea to get to the Everett Best Buy ASAP. Needless to say, I was zooming. I roll into Best Buy and wait for someone to help me get the new macbook. Now, this was a bigger deal than buying a new laptop; I was replacing my 2012 macbook. A true dinosaur that had lasted me for the last decade until the touchpad wore out, and I knew it was finally time to lay her to rest. I upgraded the RAM and the HDD to a SSD when I started grad school. It wasn't just a laptop, it was a project. Imagine walking around with 15 inches of thick steel while everyone around you is carrying a paper thin macbook. If hipster was a laptop this would be it. Erick listened when I told him how important this purchase was for me. He laughed when I explained how I waited 10 years to buy a new macbook. I'll never again buy anything online from Best Buy, especially for delivery. Two days ago I ordered a Samsung tablet on line and selected free delivery "by tomorrow." I only live 8 miles from the store so I could have just driven there and picked it up. It's still sitting at the store and they haven't even sent it out. I got the runaround and more runaround trying to just go pick it up and finally the matter was turned over to a "specialist" (translated "jackass") who explained that I could not convert from delivery to pickup and my only option was to apply for a replacement after 12-31. This made absolutely no sense since the tablet per tracking is sitting in Everett, and it's only February. I have to wait until December 31 and ask for a replacement? He wouldn't even let me cancel the order. Maximum disappointment. Update: 2-16-22. This morning I found an email from Best Buy (maybe they read the review) which says "We're working on shipping this item. It's unlikely, but if your item isn't available by Tue, March 1, we'll issue a refund." So that means they don't even stock this item, and my best guess is it's only shown as available for pickup or next day delivery to hook you and then upsell you when you can't actually get it. At least I don't have to wait until year's end for my refund from this deceptive company. But something tells me I'll be getting my refund over there today.... Update 12:50 p.m. 2-16-2022. These folks have absolutely no problem lying. An email from Best Buy dated 10:07 PM Feb. 15, entitled "Item(s) Delayed" says in relevant part "We're working on getting your item(s) to you....As soon as your item ships, we'll send you an email with tracking details." That would mean they have not yet shipped as of that late hour. Now today, 2-16-22 I have received an email that says: "Your order has been returned to the store and a refund is coming." I touched the "View Order Status" button and found "We made an attempt yesterday, but weren't able to deliver your package." This is blatantly false because if true it would mean they both shipped and tried to deliver to a residence after 10:07 p.m. yesterday. The tracking record only has 3 entries, all today: 8:27 a.m. A driver has been assigned. 10:31 a.m. Your package is on its way. 10:32 a.m. Delivery not attempted, delivery exception. Sound like CYA??? Yup. I've made purchases from Best Buy for decades. They get nothing more from me ever. read more

This is still the worst run Best Buy around. Reluctantly I ordered for store pickup following previously bad in-store experiences. But I thought: I know what I want. An external batterie for a smart phone. I order online and just can pick up the order without dealing with the disillusioned staff at this location. Duh. I received the email confirmation that my order is ready. Ten minutes later I walk into the store and headed straight to the in-store pickup counter. Show ID and my credit card and was told to wait a moment. This turned out to become a "15-20 minute moment" until someone showed up with my item. On a quick look it seemed right and I walked off. When I got home I realized that the external battery is quite heavy so I didn't unpack it and decided to return for an exchange the next day. When I arrived in the store to return the item, the clerk tells me that what I got is not the item that I bought. The codes don't match. At least now they were professional. They took the wrong item, gave me full credit and found a better choice for me. Now it only took 3 minutes and I was on my way. This has potential. If they were this effective on the first visit, they would get a much better rating and much more frequent visits. read more

I purchased two Jabra Bluetooths at Best Buy in Everett for $63.73 cash on 4/13/21. I immediately started using one of the two Jabra Bluetooths upon arriving at home. I put the second one on a shelf in my closet as a back up to the first one. When I discovered that the charge was no longer holding as well as it used to, I opened up my second Jabra Bluetooth to begin using that "new" one. To my surprise the second "new" Jabra Bluetooth would not hold a charge at all! I brought it to Best Buy on 4/23/23 to talk with Best Buy's manager about a credit or refund because my "new" Jabra Bluetooth would not hold a charge. He said the date of purchase was the problem and he couldn't return it or provide me with a credit because it was two years old. I told him it was sitting on my closet shelf as a backup for the first one that eventually started to not hold a charge anymore. Basically, that it was technically "brand new" and never used. He reminded me that he had other customers to wait on and just dismissed me and my brand new Jabra Bluetooth and walked away. Buyers, do not buy more than one of anything from Best Buy because they will say it is old and not stand behind their products! I am stuck with a brand new Jabra Bluetooth that I never got to use but I did pay for. Best Buy will not be in my mind when I need to purchase anything going forward. It is one satisfied customer at a time that builds a company and it is one unsatisfied customer at a time that will cause a company to fail and fold. Don't miss the entrance to the parking lot. You will probably want to kick yourself for having to endure two more lights because of this... I have made some fairly large purchases here in the past. Today was pretty much the only day that I've had assistance from an employee that ended up being helpful and just what I needed to get what I want - also just what they needed to make the big sale. Win, win, winning! Wii, Laptop, iPhone. All purchased at this store location. Why? Cause it's spitting distance from my house, believe me, I don't go there for the social interaction - of which there is none. Usually employees only talk to employees and we customers are left to our own devices, just milling about like cattle. Strange phenomenon. Most Best Buy stores have people creeping up behind you asking if you need help... (like the one in Watertown) The guy who sold me my iphone was really nice, really helpful, and even told me some stuff to help me minimize the monthly damage of my cell phone bill. Kudos, dude. I bought some $400 Bose headphones for my wife for xmas; turns out her parents bought her the same exact thing. I bought these headphones on December 20th and would haver returned them sooner if I had not caught the flu. I stopped in today, January 16th, expecting an easy return since I had the receipt, the package was never opened, and it was less than 30 days ago. Who knew they had a 14 day return policy? I wish the associates would have stressed that over the years. Why would I ever buy anything there again when even Amazon offers a 30 day return policy. You guys lost a loyal customer. read more

I'm not sure why I see some negative reviews, I've always had GREAT service from this store! Last night I went to pick up my AirPods that I bought online. Since they do price match, I showed the rep a printed page from Amazon for a few bucks cheaper and that's when it all went downhill. Because they need to void and reprocess the transaction, somehow my order was showing that I ONLY paid $15 for them (even though my debit card was charged the full $169.99). Long story short: after spending an hour in the store, they apologized and because they said they value my time... Hell yes they value my time, because they REFUNDED $154 from my card and let me keep the AirPods for $15!! Yes, AirPods for F I F T E E N dollars. Let that sink in for a moment. Wish I had gotten the associate's name, she was great! And just to reiterate what I've already said, I've returned, picked up, and bought a multitude of items here and it's always been a pleasant experience. It's not ALWAYS packed, that's el-oh-el funny right there. The Cambridge store would hands down win that award in the Galleria. I tend to go after work, 8 PM or later and never have to brave a crowd, I'd like to keep it that way too. Plus, this parking lot is a nice size and I've never once seen it filled, even if I was there on a Sunday afternoon vs. a Tuesday at 9:00 at night. The entrance is a tad difficult to find for someone new to that shopping circle. If you know where Teddie's peanut butter is located like I do, then you'll never ever miss it. :) The staff can be hit or miss. If they aren't busy they can be rather eager to help you find what you are looking for, if there are a handful of customers in their department, fuggaboutit. All it takes once in awhile is a friendly, "I'll be with you in a few moments sir". Customers care to be addressed like they are visible and I don't think this is in the training program here. I always liked BB better than Circuit City but they can't turn into their long lost rival with poor customer service. The prices are still very competitive with those of online retailers and people like taking a test drive on potential new equipment in the stores. We don't always know what we are doing or even what to ask for, so managers of this location or the countless others, take note. read more

Although they have lots of good products many at good prices it's the best buy business that's a problem. I bought an appliance from Best Buy and it took seven deliveries two of which they didn't show up for and didn't call after I waited five hours each, one time they showed up with a very dented one. They don't show up they get you up at 6:30 am. They sent me literally 50 emails and 50 texts they keep leading you Do their website for more information but they don't tell you what you're looking for so you are you spend a lot of time not knowing what they want to tell you and you don't want to not confirm an appointment or find out they're sending you the wrong thing so you keep looking. There were at least 60 phone calls back-and-forth to try to straighten things out about this one appliance. Do you know how much time that takes up of your life? Their information constantly contradicts some thing you've been told before. Their ability to can communicate with each other and you the constant is almost often contradictory. They even made appointments for me which they didn't tell me about at 7:30 in the morning on a Saturday. They canceled appointments I didn't even know about. Apparently my time is worth nothing. If you are working be prepare to lose your job. Countless hours are spent for nothing, particularly on hold, getting bad information and with useless appointments. Just yesterday I had two appointments at the Best Buy store, neither of which was kept by them because what they told me on the phone and what the store says is completely different. I did try to call ahead to the exact store, but even with the local number I got the same people who told me they could replace the glass on my iPhone while I waited (no I have to give it up for three days) told me it was covered by my total tech, neither of those two things were true. I also had an appointment with the car people because my phone and car we're having issues and when I found them they said they don't do that , They had no appointment for me and they were going home in a half an hour and they would I've had to charge me money. Over the phone everything was free and happening in person nothing happened and none of it would've been covered by my total tech plan that promised me so much when I was buying it and everything over the phone You get to write the people on the phone after a call, but that's not the problem they are all very nice but they don't have any information or the information they have isn't correct and you eventually talk to so many different people who have different opinions on everything. After being a Best Buy customer for years in Salem, NH with very few complaints, I've had multiple poor experiences with this store after moving. I went in to pick up a new external hard drive only to get walked around the store multiple times because they didn't know where it was. Then when I needed a simple USB 3.0 replacement cable for the hard drive I had purchased, they didn't have it. Tonight, I called to purchase a simple volume knob for my turntable. The first two times I was on the line, I was hung up on. Finally, on my third try, I got through to someone who said the entire department was busy and would give me a call back tonight. After waiting well over an hour, the store closed and I never received a call back. This type of customer service is unacceptable. I think I will be making the trip elsewhere going forwards. I'm unsure as to why this particular store is so poor. I only hope they hire the adequate staff they need as I've always been a fan of their price match guarantees and general inventory. read more

Best Buy runs a scam for its appliance delivery services through their 3rd party contractors. We bought a gas dryer and were told to buy about $70 in dryer parts in case they were needed during installation. Didn't seem like a big deal and we were told we could return them if they weren't needed. A third party contractor delivered the dryer and parts, but demanded $650 in additional service charges to install. When we refused to pay, they kept the order as "out for delivery" for over a month. After two visits to stores in Everett and Burlington to return these dryer parts, we keep being told to call the third party contractor to resolve the issue and that the store can't refund us unless it's marked "delivered." Well, you end up waiting for hours on the phone with this contractor and then they provide no resolution. They tell you "it will be marked as delivered tomorrow." Tomorrow comes, and they are still out for delivery. And then Best Buy refuses to accept the item for return. When I asked why can't you just accept the parts, give us the money (again, it's only around $70, not a huge amount) and handle the return for us, they refused. At this point, it's just the principal of the thing, but I'm just upset that they are attempting to scam customers. They've lost a loyal customer of decades over this. read more

I always like going to best buy. Everett is a well layed out well stocked store with a very professional and knowledgeable staff. There was a woman there that was everywhere, answering questions, directing staff and was in clearly in control of operations. She was great to watch. I went in to get an oscillating fan and to check out a portable speaker. I spoke to 2 sales people who were great. I bought the fan at a fair price and will return for some of the things I looked at including a nice pair of binoculars. read more

They ordered the wrong stove. we had to re-order, have them bring the new one, which cost us $500 more, and pick up the wrong one. we still went back ordered a refrigerator, micro wave, dishwasher and stove top. that was delivered fine, then we had to order the built in oven and warming drawer, it was booked out a month. the day comes to get that oven because we have none and no one calls. we call Best Buy and they couldn't do the install that day so it is another week. Just bought a new TV, Blu ray and cable for it. Not a big electronics person but we were shopping for a new TV and found a very low priced samsung and it is high quality. Raymond and Matt of Best Buy were so helpful and I got a great deal. Definitely recommend Best Buy! Be careful driving to and from as you will have to enter the Santilli area rotaries from hell. The WORST customer service...actually there NO customer service. As a tech person I know more than half of their employees, in fact almost helped out a customer that was getting smoke blown up his @$$ from an employee that had no clue was he was saying. However, I did not, to not embarrass him. He immediately pointed the customer to an open box item and not the item they were asking for. The best part was when I asked that same employee for help and he immediately said, "No I can't help, I have 3 other people before you."
