If I could give over 5 stars, I would. Ned and Cameron were fantastic about answering all of my questions, being totally upfront about what they were doing and the timeline of my situation, and working until the job got done. I would recommend Edgeworth Appliance to anyone who needs their appliances repaired or replaced. Detergent fell all over the front of my 2021 LG 3400 washing machine, which had otherwise been working fine. I found Edgewood through the LG service website, and Cameron at Edgewood was able to send Ned to me the same day to evaluate my machine. Initially Ned thought it could be repaired and he ordered the parts. A few days later when the parts came in and Ned installed them, It turned out that the detergent had done more damage than he thought and that it would be more cost-effective for me to go with a new machine. He didn't charge me for the parts, and instead priced out a replacement machine (I ended up going with the LG4000 since they had it in stock and it has a sanitize function and wasn't that much more expensive than the 3400) and told me that he would be able to install it for me the next day if I wanted. Ended up being the day after, but Ned kept in touch to make sure I was ok with the delay. Cameron also stopped by to help Ned carry the machines around since the staircase in my house is tricky. I like the new machine, and I am happy. read more

I could not have asked for a better experience. My washer stopped working on Saturday, so I found two local places online and submitted a request via their websites. David from Edgeworth responded on Sunday and suggested I call the main line Monday morning. I called and explained the issue to Cameron, and he said he'd have a tech reach out. Ned called me 15 minutes later to say he could come by the same day (he even texted me when he realized he'd be at the later end of the window he'd estimated). Ned diagnosed the problem, had the inverter board he needed on hand, and was done within an hour. All around great communication and delivery from everyone I worked with. I still haven't heard back from the second place I contacted! read more

DJ from Edgeworth Appliance is fabulous! Quick response and very knowledgeable! Highl recommend!

My LG washer was leaking water and many appliance repair companies didn't have the bandwidth to send 2 ppl (washer and dryer are stacked). Luckily, Edgeworth Appliance was able to. I called last Thursday, and they were able to show up on Tuesday. The duo showed up within the window and called 30-40 minutes beforehand. They came in and quickly assessed everything. DJ was great. He quickly diagnosed the washer issue (a hose that was disconnected). He reattached it and attached a cable tie to prevent it from becoming loose again. He also noticed the dryer vent wasn't ideal and replaced the aluminum rectangle box with a vent hose. The team was quick and efficient. Very friendly and help. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for any future appliance repairs. read more

I was told months ago by a snippy repairman that my washing machine was obsolete, parts were not available and I should simply replace it. But knowing what a struggle it was for two strong men to get my present machine down the narrow stairs to my basement, I decided to give it another try and phoned Edgeworth. They called back the next day, and David showed up a couple days later as promised. He quickly found the problem, described it and made the repair, then tested all the settings before packing up his tools and presenting his very reasonable bill. David's informed approach and kind manner made the visit a pleasant experience. My machine is working nicely and I'm delighted. I highly recommend this company. read more

If I could give 10 stars, I would. My old gas dryer died & needed replacement. Went to Home Depot, ordered one for delivery BUT they don't do disconnect & install for gas dryers. They wanted us to find our own people to disconnect the old one and install the new one, a big pain! I found Edgeworth and they said they would disconnect the old one, haul it away, & install a new gas dryer from them at equal or cheaper price than Home Depot. They had the same GE dryer available that I wanted too. Dave came the very next day and did exactly that! Amazing service & quality! read more

Outstanding service! Not only are they quick to respond to calls and texts, but they are quick to schedule appointments, great at what they do, and professional from beginning to end. Thank you for fixing my oven in one quick and easy visit. A+!!! read more

This is customer service! I just spoke to DJ over the phone and he was the most helpful person I've encountered in many years! After I explained what happened to my 16 year old washer, he said from the get-go that we need a new one. I could tell from our conversation that he was extremely knowledgable. I will not hesitate to call them if I ever need a repair, which I hope I don't! I will most certainly recommend them! read more

Can't recommend enough! Had a 6 year old dishwasher (with a one year old pump) that didn't drain. I emailed Edgeworth in the morning, got a response within the hour, and was communicating with the tech in 2. Same day service with an honest cost appraisal on repair vs replacement, as well as a thorough explanation of all the options available. My go- to repair service from now on! read more

Our 14-year old Bosch oven stopped heating. Edgeworth promptly responded to my request for service, and they were at my house the next day at the time they said they would be here. Were courteous, friendly, and professional, and promptly fixed the oven for a reasonable price. So nice to deal with great repair people. If I could give 6 stars I would. read more

Jason from Edgeworth Appliance saved the day by fixing our LG Washing Machine that would not drain. Backed up 7 loads of laundry and counting we were in such a bind and couldn't bare the thought of an all day trip to the laundry mat. He was so knowledgeable, professional, friendly and efficient. I cannot say enough good, make that amazing things. For any future appliance repair needs we have him on speed dial. Thank you x 1,000,000! Dana read more

I went to write this review and am not surprised to see dozens of five star reviews! We had an issue with our dryer in the summer and I reached out to Edgeworth Appliance. I was shocked that within 24 hours, Cameron was at my house and able to fix the issue for a very reasonable cost. Cameron recommended I have our dryer vents cleaned - which I did not do! - so he had to come back in August to fix the same issue. He could not be nicer, easier to work with, or more professional! Unfortunately, the same issue is happening again, so we will likely be purchasing a new dryer, but I really appreciate being able to speak with Cameron or another member of their team because I can trust their advice and, importantly, their follow-up and follow-through is outstanding. read more

David was originally scheduled to help with my oven door gasket, which he replaced. Unexpectedly, my dishwasher wasn't draining all the way, and he was able to help fix that as well by fixing the drain hose connection. He explained everything very well throughout, and I would go to him again for any appliance issues. read more

Our condo is dealing with a drainage issue which in result clogged the drain pump for my LG washing machine. I called Edgeworth and Cameron was able to schedule something quickly the next day. Great communication, super friendly and he got my washer back up and running in less than an hour. Much appreciated--thank you! read more

Exceptional service all around!! Communication was clear before the appointment and the team was friendly and efficient, solving both issues with our washer on the spot, would definitely call again & recommend! read more

Every aspect of my experience was great. I called for a fridge repair and was told a technician would call me. Cameron called me back a very short time later and said he could come by in a couple hours. He was nice, professional and extremely knowledgeable. When the part I needed was discontinued, he tried everything he could to buy me some time to get a new fridge. As if that wasn't enough, after I had a bad experience with the HUGO appliance, he offered to help in any way he could. I cannot recommend these guys enough! Stephanie - Everett read more

I'm a young woman who lives alone, and a few months back my stackable washer/dryer set broke. I was worried about having men come into my house, especially repair men, because they tend to be preachy and rude. Edgeworth aAppliance is not like this at all. The repair technicians were very courteous and respectful. The two men who came to service my appliance even gave me some future recommendations on what to do should the issue happen again. I found their prices to be fair, and the quote they gave me over the phone was exactly what I paid. Also, when the technician suspected their may be a bigger problem that would require additional cost, he was immoderately upfront with me. I appreciated that. Additionally, they were quick to come inspirer my appliance. I was able to have a technician come over the same day I called. I've recommended them to several other friends who've also had a 5 star experience. This is a great company with great people. read more

5 stars is not enough! Yes, all the reviews that you read for this business are correct! My relic Kenmore gas dryer decided that it wanted to take the holiday weekend off after 50 years yes 50 and just stopped drying I placed a text to Edgeworth on Columbus Monday holiday as per the message on the web page within 5 mins I heard back within 90 mins Dave was in my home assessing my old time dryer. Dave and Edgeworth exemplify exactly how a repair business should act he was appreciative of the age of the dryer which really impressed me and did not automatically say it's too old to fix, just replace it like some do he throughly assessed the situation and potential for it not to be able to fixed due to age and inability to get parts, explained how his business would assist me in buying a new one if necessary, placed all options on the table both risks and benefits of repair but encouraged me to retain dryer when he discovered he could fix it and that he did all while taking the time to go through each area explaining what wasn't the problem till it was located and corrected in an efficient, clean and timely fashion. He was even nice enough to take a peek at my 40 year old Kenmore fridge that I thought would be the first to go! I sincerely hope that the take away from this review is that with a quality local repair business such as Edgeworth whatever the outcome you will receive professional, honest and knowledgeable service. I highly recommend without reservation read more

My fridge wasn't working and I was going to buy a new one when my neighbor referred me to Edgeworth Appliance. I am so glad she did, because I called and he came the next day. He was fast, friendly and efficient and fix the problem. The price was very reasonable and I would continue to use them in the future. Our over-the-range microwave had started acting up off-and-on. I called Edgeworth to see if they could repair it and they kindly let me know that it would be better for me to just replace it given its age (~15 years). So they were able to recommend a microwave and, a few weeks later once it finally arrived from the manufacture, they came right by to install it in about an hour or so. Did a great job putting it in and answering my questions about it. So glad to have a functional microwave again! read more

Our oven broke right now weeks before Thanksgiving- yikes - I panicked big time. They picked up at first call, they were very friendly on the phone and we could schedule to have someone come in a few days. Cameron was right on time (even called that he could come earlier), took a look, explained the issue and fixed it right away. He was courteous and fast, and cleaned up after the work was done. Couldn't be happier. Our refrigerator crapped out on Friday night. Called Saturday morning thinking I'd make an appointment for the following week. Cameron called me back and said he was finishing a job and could come over on 30 minutes. I asked about a surcharge because it was the weekend. He said there was no surcharge. Diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. Unfortunately he didn't have the part but told me he would come back Monday morning. Monday morning Dave called me and said he had the part and could come over in 30 minutes. Cameron was out of commission celebrating the birth of his first child. Dave showed up when he said he would, couldn't have been nicer and the fridge was fixed before noon on Monday at a very reasonable price. I will definitely use these guys again. read more

Can't recommend highly enough. Came the day after I called. Fixed my oven quickly and efficiently. And was so nice.

Dave is very responsive to every calls. Lately he got a spare part for our fridge and delivered it to us within one day! Also he is very patient in guiding me to look for the Model Tag! Thanks again! read more

Excellent, quick, and knowledgable service. A burning smell came from our dryer and so we shut it off. We had the ducts cleaned, but the dryer still didn't work - didn't heat up. So, we called a number of repair places and Edgeworth was highly rated and had the first available appointment. Cameron came out two days after our call. He really knew his way around the dryer. We had a lint fire on the inside that burned out one of the thermostats. He took is completely apart, cleaned the inside to look like new, and replaced the thermostat on the spot. All in 45 mins. I thought it would take days to order and install the part, etc. Works like new now. We were very impressed. read more

My dryer was not working, I got a referral to Edgeworth from my neighbor and they were awesome. They answered my call and came out the same day! Great experience from start to finish. Appointment made for two days out. Owner even answered a text while on vacation! Tech, Cameron, arrived right as promised. I had an issue with my washer and dryer. He tried to diagnosis the problem with my washer-turns out it was an electrical thing and he didn't charge for his time with that. He knew what was wrong with the dryer before he even took it apart by my description on our call so he anticipated the issue and brought the part with him. Replaced it, cleaned up around the area and was done in less than a 1/2 hr. Professional and personable-I will recommended to anyone that asks. I actual have an appointment with a big box store to install a microwave. I asked Cameron if they could do it and they can so I will be cancelling that other appointment and an book one with Edgeworth. Thanks Cameron! . read more

Quick response, professional and not overpriced. DJ was great replaced igniter switch on my oven.

When we finally got these guys out here they were great. When we first called they did call us back a few hours after and then say they no longer were doing LG Warranty work because they were so busy. So we did call LG back and they finally sent us back to these guys and said they were going to come... S once we got through that hiccup it was great. This is the only reason for the drop in star but I Think they are actually a 4.5 with this hiccup. Fillip seemed knowledgable and was very pleasant, quick, and courteous. read more

I called Edgeworth because I had an error code on my washer and couldn't fix it myself. The extremely polite and on time technician Jason came and not only fixed the problem, showed me what caused it (my golf tees... whoops), why it wasn't working, and how it would be fixed. It was all done relatively quick and he handled my barking dog very well (just barked when he came in). He offered to come back and replace the part in question because it couldn't be taken apart as it was one piece, and I said sure. He was not pushy at all and I wanted it down. He refused to charge me for a 2nd visit and is back now, again on time, finishing the job. I HIGHLY recommend Edgeworth and Jason for your repair needs. read more
