My LG washer was leaking water and many appliance repair companies didn't have the bandwidth to send 2 ppl (washer and dryer are stacked). Luckily, Edgeworth Appliance was able to. I called last Thursday, and they were able to show up on Tuesday. The duo showed up within the window and called 30-40 minutes beforehand. They came in and quickly assessed everything. DJ was great. He quickly diagnosed the washer issue (a hose that was disconnected). He reattached it and attached a cable tie to prevent it from becoming loose again. He also noticed the dryer vent wasn't ideal and replaced the aluminum rectangle box with a vent hose. The team was quick and efficient. Very friendly and help. I highly recommend this company and will use them again for any future appliance repairs. read more

I was told months ago by a snippy repairman that my washing machine was obsolete, parts were not available and I should simply replace it. But knowing what a struggle it was for two strong men to get my present machine down the narrow stairs to my basement, I decided to give it another try and phoned Edgeworth. If I could give 10 stars, I would. My old gas dryer died & needed replacement. Went to Home Depot, ordered one for delivery BUT they don't do disconnect & install for gas dryers. They wanted us to find our own people to disconnect the old one and install the new one, a big pain! I found Edgeworth and they said they would disconnect the old one, haul it away, & install a new gas dryer from them at equal or cheaper price than Home Depot. I went to write this review and am not surprised to see dozens of five star reviews! We had an issue with our dryer in the summer and I reached out to Edgeworth Appliance. I was shocked that within 24 hours, Cameron was at my house and able to fix the issue for a very reasonable cost. Cameron recommended I have our dryer vents cleaned - which I did not do! - so he had to come back in August to fix the same issue. He could not be nicer, easier to work with, or more professional! Unfortunately, the same issue is happening again, so we will likely be purchasing a new dryer, but I really appreciate being able to speak with Cameron or another member of their team because I can trust their advice and, importantly, their follow-up and follow-through is outstanding. read more

David was originally scheduled to help with my oven door gasket, which he replaced. Unexpectedly, my dishwasher wasn't draining all the way, and he was able to help fix that as well by fixing the drain hose connection. Every aspect of my experience was great. I called for a fridge repair and was told a technician would call me. My relic Kenmore gas dryer decided that it wanted to take the holiday weekend off after 50 years yes 50 and just stopped drying I placed a text to Edgeworth on Columbus Monday holiday as per the message on the web page within 5 mins I heard back within 90 mins Dave was in my home assessing my old time dryer. Dave and Edgeworth exemplify exactly how a repair business should act he was appreciative of the age of the dryer which really impressed me and did not automatically say it's too old to fix, just replace it like some do he throughly assessed the situation and potential for it not to be able to fixed due to age and inability to get parts, explained how his business would assist me in buying a new one if necessary, placed all options on the table both risks and benefits of repair but encouraged me to retain dryer when he discovered he could fix it and that he did all while taking the time to go through each area explaining what wasn't the problem till it was located and corrected in an efficient, clean and timely fashion. He was even nice enough to take a peek at my 40 year old Kenmore fridge that I thought would be the first to go! I'm a young woman who lives alone, and a few months back my stackable washer/dryer set broke. I was worried about having men come into my house, especially repair men, because they tend to be preachy and rude. Edgeworth aAppliance is not like this at all. The repair technicians were very courteous and respectful. The two men who came to service my appliance even gave me some future recommendations on what to do should the issue happen again. I found their prices to be fair, and the quote they gave me over the phone was exactly what I paid. Also, when the technician suspected their may be a bigger problem that would require additional cost, he was immoderately upfront with me. I appreciated that. Additionally, they were quick to come inspirer my appliance. I was able to have a technician come over the same day I called. Our over-the-range microwave had started acting up off-and-on. I called Edgeworth to see if they could repair it and they kindly let me know that it would be better for me to just replace it given its age (~15 years). So they were able to recommend a microwave and, a few weeks later once it finally arrived from the manufacture, they came right by to install it in about an hour or so. Couldn't be happier. Our refrigerator crapped out on Friday night. Called Saturday morning thinking I'd make an appointment for the following week. Cameron called me back and said he was finishing a job and could come over on 30 minutes. I asked about a surcharge because it was the weekend. He said there was no surcharge. Diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes. Unfortunately he didn't have the part but told me he would come back Monday morning. Excellent, quick, and knowledgable service. A burning smell came from our dryer and so we shut it off. We had the ducts cleaned, but the dryer still didn't work - didn't heat up. So, we called a number of repair places and Edgeworth was highly rated and had the first available appointment. Cameron came out two days after our call. He really knew his way around the dryer. We had a lint fire on the inside that burned out one of the thermostats. He took is completely apart, cleaned the inside to look like new, and replaced the thermostat on the spot. All in 45 mins. I thought it would take days to order and install the part, etc. Works like new now. We were very impressed. read more

Great experience from start to finish. Appointment made for two days out. Owner even answered a text while on vacation! Tech, Cameron, arrived right as promised. I had an issue with my washer and dryer. He tried to diagnosis the problem with my washer-turns out it was an electrical thing and he didn't charge for his time with that. He knew what was wrong with the dryer before he even took it apart by my description on our call so he anticipated the issue and brought the part with him. Replaced it, cleaned up around the area and was done in less than a 1/2 hr. Professional and personable-I will recommended to anyone that asks. I actual have an appointment with a big box store to install a microwave. I called Edgeworth because I had an error code on my washer and couldn't fix it myself. The extremely polite and on time technician Jason came and not only fixed the problem, showed me what caused it (my golf tees... whoops), why it wasn't working, and how it would be fixed. It was all done relatively quick and he handled my barking dog very well (just barked when he came in). He offered to come back and replace the part in question because it couldn't be taken apart as it was one piece, and I said sure. He was not pushy at all and I wanted it down. He refused to charge me for a 2nd visit and is back now, again on time, finishing the job. I HIGHLY recommend Edgeworth and Jason for your repair needs. read more

Our LG washer was making an odd sound and we needed an appliance company to look at it. I read the reviews about Edgeworth Appliance and decided to give them a try. They are fantastic! The owner reached within a few hours to say a technician would be in touch. Cameron called shortly thereafer and could not have been nicer and we scheduled a time for 2 days later. He called first thing in the morning to say he could come even sooner which was great. He followed the COVID protocol(mask worn and 6ft distance) which I appreciated during this difficult time. He looked at the washer and determined it was a drain pump issue, which is common on these appliances. He had it replaced in about 30 minutes and the washer is working just like new. He also made some recommendations on the annual maintenance for the washer which was appreciated. The price was reasonable and he explained it all before the work began. When we finally got these guys out here they were great. When we first called they did call us back a few hours after and then say they no longer were doing LG Warranty work because they were so busy. So we did call LG back and they finally sent us back to these guys and said they were going to come... S once we got through that hiccup it was great.
