Jason and Steve are the best around. They've serviced us for 8 years and are incredible at what they do. They take care of several SubZero appliances and have in-depth knowledge of the prevalent issues and parts. We are lucky to have them assist us. Also they are wonderful people. read more

This is a wonderful family-owned business! Steve answered the phone after hours on a Tuesday and was at our home the next morning to repair our twenty+-year-old fridge. He refilled the coolant and arranged for Jason to come in on Saturday to replace the evaporator and service the refrigerator. The workmanship and customer service are impeccable! I can't recommend them highly enough. read more

I was very glad I called this business. Thy had excellent reviews on Yelp which is why I chose them. They deserve five star reviews. They booked our repair approximately three days after I called. They had my cell phone number and kept me posted on their eta. I'm so tired of service companies coming out to repair something, and they need to order a part! We've waited weeks for them to return and finish the repair. This company had everything needed in their truck. They replaced our broken ice maker and now it is running exactly how it should. read more

Steve was absolutely incredible. I was in dire need of servicing for my 25-year-old Sub-Zero refrigerator and Steve replied to my request within 1 hour, and was at my place the next day. He was very kind, professional, and efficient. Him and his team were able to get my refrigerator up and running like new; at a very reasonable price! If you are looking for someone who knows there craft, and will get the job done right, I highly recommend them. Thanks again! read more

I called Sub Zero. and Viking Solutions for an issue with a 14 yr old Viking fridge. Upon arrival I was met by Steve and his helper. They were fantastic from the start. very professional and knew exactly what the problem was and fixed it. They were great to talk with, friendly, and really showed that they cared. I've never encountered a better or more professional appliance repair or any type of repair professional! I gladly give them 5 stars! I'd give them 10 if I could! Happy Humarock customer!! read more

Quick service, detailed explanations and reasonable pricing. Just wish they didn't leave a sticker on my $10k fridge. Be sure to ask for no-sticker read more

Have a near 30yr old Subzero fridge that stopped cooling. 2nd repair needed on this old unit. For a very reasonable cost, Jason came and did a tremendous job (on Saturday) of putting things right. Replacement cost of this fridge is approximately $15,000, so it is well worth fixing. Should be good for the next 25yrs! read more

Our 22 year old Sub Zero was misbehaving. I called the number and received a quick call back from them setting up a 12-2 visit for the next day. Jason showed up, explained the issue and had it repaired in less than an hour for a reasonable charge. He let me know that the machine will last a long time and of future types of motor, compressor and evaporator types of repairs that may occur in the future and what to look for. Highly recommend. read more

Fixed our ancient fridge for a fraction of what a new one would have cost. Clearly well experienced and very competent. Showed up on time, neat work, no surprises on the bill. As painless as possible! read more

Sub Zero refrigerators break, it's unavoidable and when they do the only repair service I can recommend. I have worked with Sub Zero Solutions for some years and they are fantastic. Jason is very knowledgeable, super nice, and gets the job done. Of all the repair people I have worked with, they are the best by far! read more

Steve did an AWESOME job. I have a 20 year old SubZero 632 with custom cabinets. It's been great. It was $5k in 2002... now over $15k. OUCH. Recently the freezer compressor wasn't working. Being an engineer... I dug into it. Concluded either the compressor or the starter capacitor was the cause, likely the compressor. The place I bought it from was going to take a couple weeks to send a tech... I got a referral to these guys. Steve showed up that afternoon. Thankfully it wasn't the compressor (a 3 or 4 hour job to replace, plus the part alone is $300 best case). Steve replaced the relay overload switch and had me up and running in about an hour. The compressor kit I thought I was going to have to install includes this little overload switch, so it _would have_ fixed it, but this was quick and a heck of a lot less work. Many thanks to Steve. And to Eleanor, who arranged the visit. WELL DONE! read more

This is the second time I have called on SubZero and Viking Solutions to fix a problem with my 32-year old SubZero. Both times Jason came the next day and within the two-hour time slot they had given me. He is knowledgeable, efficient, and very experienced with SubZeros, He explains exactly what is going on and breaks down exactly what the repairs will cost. The first time, April 2024, the refrigerator was not running as cold as it should. Jason diagnosed the problem, described the fix, obtained the necessary parts and did the repair within a day or two. The second time, Nov. 27, 2024, frost was building up in the freezer and both the compressor and the freezer were running a little warm. Jason replaced the compressor fan motor and the defrost timer, both of which parts he had on his truck. In just a couple of hours the frost build-up was gone and the freezer was running like new. (Another SubZero repair company had proposed a more elaborate fix that would have cost several hundred dollars more, taken 8-9 days to get the parts, and I would have had to turn off the freezer completely in the meantime and lose all the food.) I cannot recommend SubZero Solutions ad Jason highly enough. Five stars for both visits! read more

I have a Sub Zero that was acting up. Sub Zero Solutions came to my house on time and diagnosed the problem immediately. Jason was the technician. He repaired it with a friendly smile. He was neat and fast and it was running like new again!! read more

Terrific service! Fixed a problem with my 20 year old subzero fridge promptly, explained what was broken, extremely trustworthy and reliable. Highly recommended! read more

These guys responded to my request immediately even though it was made through Yelp. I wanted a Sub Zero expert and that's all they do. Unfortunately I did not need them as after doing some research online I just had to adjust the temps of the unit. This was new to us in our 3 week old new to us home. The courtesy and follow up has earned them my trust for when I actually need them to come out. read more

We have two sub zero units: a freezer and refrigerator. After reading Yelp reviews we decided to call Sub Zero Solutions for help when the temperature in our refrigerator began to fluctuate between 29 and 40 degrees. Fearful we might need a new refrigerator, Jason explained the reason we did not even need a new thermostat. He also denied we needed to have the compressor cleaned! Jason checked the refrigerant pressure, and added lightbulbs I had forgotten to mention as they had burned out! It is rare to receive totally honest, timely, reliable service I felt compelled to write a review as a thanks to Jason and the great, economical service he provided. read more

Excellent service. They arrived on time and knew exactly what they were doing. Quickly identified and fixed the problems. They were nice, professional and efficient. The cost was reasonable, too. Will definitely call again if service is needed. read more

I'm leaving this right as Steve leaves. He was excellent. He showed up at exactly 12 for a service window of 12-3 (I don't think that has ever happened for me before) which was amazing. He came in with a mask and was great about Covid procedure. As a bonus, he took a quick look at my Viking stove (which they also service) and showed me where the griddle was that I didn't even know I had! This is my new go-to company. Thanks Steve! read more

Had a issue with our wine fridge sub zero. Jason came diagnosed and advised us on how to repair or replace . We opted to repair knowing that it may not last forever. The cost was more than reasonable and the service very friendly. We had just found them on line and has been a pleasure from beginning to end . Finding a good appliance repair man is hard so here is you answer read more

Had an issue pop up with my Subzero freezer yesterday, called Subzero Solutions this morning and Jason was at my house right on time in the early afternoon. Very knowledgeable and professional. Explained everything that was going on with freezer motor and fixed it right up. Jason even took the time to explain future maintenance that I could do to help keep the unit running well. This is what service businesses should all be like. Feels great to have the problem fixed and great to know where to go for any future issues. read more

Jason was outstanding. After calling 4 other companies who quickly dismissed me, my Son recommended This company. A family business, Jason showed up 2 days later. He diagnosed the problem. He gave me my options. He had all needed parts and my subzero cooling 2 hours later. Highly recommended. read more

We had a broiler repair on our 20+ year old Viking range. The service was quick and the price seemed very fair. I would use them again.

This is a testimony to good people and to the power of Yelp. Our 13-year-old (inherited when we bought the house) Sub Zero freezer gasket ripped fully over the weekend. I called a leading repair service (whom we've used before) and they scheduled me for almost 3 weeks later. For my primary freezer? Not happy to wait that long. I jumped on Yelp, found Sub Zero solutions and left Steve a voicemail on a Saturday. He called me back within an hour and schedule an appointment for Tuesday morning - took all the info. on the fridge so he could have the gasket ready to go. This morning, Jason arrived at the front end of the two hour (yes! no waiting all day long!) window I'd been given on Sat. and quickly got to work. Offered to clean the condenser and give things a once-over while he was at it, all for the cost of the service fee. Well, things were DIRTY in the condenser and it turns out that our fan motor was leaking oil like crazy. I don't think this thing's ever been serviced in the 8 years we've lived here. Jason had the fan motor on the truck, replaced that w/o any upcharge, told me how amazing these fridges are and how they'll run forever if you just maintain them properly and went on his way. As I sit beside the beast, it's quiet for the first time I can remember in a while - the whole thing was struggling to run and now that Jason tuned 'er up, she's more efficient and quiet than ever. Oh, and bonus! They service Wolf ranges b/c they're owned by Sub Zero - so I'm having this crew back to fix a long-broken oven door. If you're on the fence whether to call, just do it. I'm super service-driven and don't suffer fools lightly. These guys are honest and professional. What more could you want? read more

After 14 years my sub zero finally needed to be fixed. I called based on these reviews and was not disappointed. Steve returned my call within an hour and within a few hours his son Jason came out and fixed my refrigerator. Jason went over what had broken/leaked and what else needed to be done and told me the cost up front. He was professional and also quick, but thorough which I appreciated since I had to get my kids from school. So grateful for the quick turnaround and fix and the nice customer service! read more

I got a call back that same evening. Steve was able to come the next morning but I wasn't going to be home. Appointment made for the next day..really fast service. Jason arrived promptly, explained the situation. The fridge is 12 years old, and jason explained some things that should be done. All made sense, no pressure. Today, he came back with all the parts, and did everything. I was so impressed by his knowledge, the way he explained everything to me. He is friendly and an all around nice person. So quick, service, knowledgeable service, friendly service and, I'm sure somewhat cheaper than Clarke. I am so happy I called sub zero solutions! read more

Steve returned my telephone call within 10 minutes. I thought I was going to need a service call for my Sub Zero refrigerator. Instead, he shared his knowledge and my husband was able to complete the repair himself. Steve, you do indeed treat every customer the way you would want to be treated! So refreshing and different from the other businesses we reached out to before you. You'll definitely be the first we'll call the next time we need service. Thank you, Lisa. read more

Not too long ago, we moved into a house with a 20 year old Sub Zero freezer. Recently, the freezer was unable to maintain it's temperature. Nervous that we would lose all the food inside, I called Yale Appliance, whom we had used for other repairs, but they stated that they could not repair any appliances over 10 years of age. My internet search led me to Sub Zero Solutions. I called Steve and he answered right away. I explained my problem and he was able to fit us in the next day. I followed up with Steve by text message. Steve was very professional, responsive, and helpful! He came to do the preliminary work to fix the freezer. He took great care to protect the wood floors, which I appreciated. Steve explained everything he was doing and answered all questions that we had. He also identified a few other maintenance issues that we should address to ensure both the fridge and the freezer continue to work at peak performance. He gave us a quote up front for all the work that needed to be done and scheduled Jason to come two days later to complete the work he listed. Jason was also very professional, walked me through what he was doing, and answered all of my questions. Overall, we were very happy with the service we received and would highly recommend Steve and Jason! Moving forward, we will call Sub Zero Solutions for all of our fridge and freezer needs! read more

I highly recommend the services of Sub Zero--They came to fix our 15 year old Sub Zero refrigerator and were great--another issue with the refrigerator arose and they came right away at no charge--They certainly take pride in their work read more

As you can tell by their name they service only Sub Zero and Viking appliances. They don't sell these refrigerators which attracted me to use this business. We have a 17 year old, built-in, sub zero, and we have used the folks we bought it from in the past and have been very disappointed. We were told our service would be very expensive and encouraged to purchase a new refrigerator. We got a second opinion., Jason from Sub Zero & Viking Solutions said it was a standard repair, for this brand, typically half way through the lifetime of the product. Jason was prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. He said our refrigerator should last 30 years and our repair (new condenser) should give us another 13 years. Yay! If you are having a problem with your sub zero, I highly recommend this company. You will not be disappointed! read more

This guys are wonderful to work with, gave me a ballpark estimate and it was right on - they came quickly and solved the problem right away. I had another company come and look at it - after scratching their head they left me an estimate that was literally 3.5 times what Steve did it in. Steve is professional, tidy and on time and clearly knows his stuff inside and out! Hopefully we won't need repairs any time soon, but I certainly know who I'm calling if I do! read more

This was going to be a bad review. Steve was supposed to show up at 3 PM. He didn't, I didn't hear from him and at 3:30 I called his cell and left a message. I still hadn't heard from him by 4 PM and figured he wasn't coming. Then, at 4:30, the bell rang. Turns out Steve had texted me, thinking the number I gave him and had called from was a cell phone (it's a landline). He apologized for being late; it had been a crazy afternoon. When he and his associate came in, I asked them if they wouldn't mind taking their shoes off, as we try hard to protect our wood floors. They did so without hesitating or complaining, which often doesn't happen. Then they went to work, which was inspecting and tuning up our almost 20-year-old Sub Zero fridge, and fixing the light. Steve said he didn't expect any major issues, and, about a half-hour later, they were done. He said the unit was in good shape and that it could last another 10 years, which was great to hear. And it was nice to have the light working! He also made some suggestions re maintaining the unit. Because they were so late, Steve didn't charge me for the part to fix the light, and the final bill was actually less than what he had estimated when we scheduled the appointment. I would unhesitatingly call Steve again for anything to do with the fridge and would happily recommend him. read more

I called Sub Zero & Viking Solutions on a Sunday night after 10pm, after noticing the temperature on the refrigerator ride started rising. Steve, the owner of the business, responded my voice-mail in half an hour and promised to call me back on Monday morning and put me on the schedule. He called me the first thing next day, and came to my house with his son Jason by noon. They were extremely professional, quickly identified the problems, and fixed the problems with changing the motor of the major fan on the ceiling (that had stopped running), and two old sensors that caused the back wall mounting with ice. Both Steve and Jason very patiently explained every detail I would like to know. The refrigerator went to back to normal in four hours, and we are very happy with the results. Their service has one year warranty, which is an extra insurance. Steve and Jason are both so pleasant to talk with. I would highly recommend their service to anybody who has Sub Zero products. Apparently they have accumulated years of the rich knowledge and experience with Sub Zero products! read more

Steve is as good as it gets! He responded to my phone call within an hour and, sensing it was an emergency, was at my house to determine why I had water all over my kitchen floor from my Sub Zero within two hours! With total knowledge of Sub Zero products, he quickly determined the reason for the leak and resolved the problem ! How great it was to receive such immediate, polite service! I was so impressed I asked that he place his contact stickers in several places inside the Sub Zero so I would have his name and contact information for future reference. I very highly recommend Steve and will NEVER call anyone else regarding repair to my refrigerator! Thank you Steve...You are AWESOME! Jim Grasso read more

After going at first with another appliance company who misdiagnosed the problem, we called Subzero. Steve and Dennis came over two days after I placed the call, and could not have been more helpful, pleasant and professional. They repaired the part needed within an hour and my refrigerator is back and running fine. The other company, Yale appliance, told me I needed a new refrigerator without even diagnosing the problem. I would stay far far away from Yale appliance. Subzero is the way to go if you have a Viking. Super knowledgeable and for $450 they fixed my problem. I could not recommend them more highly. read more

I have been in my new house @2 years, my Sub Zero is @11 years old and probably was never serviced. The main door was beginning to feel very hot - I looked on yelp and called Steve. He called me back in 10 minutes and was able to come out the same afternoon. My Sub Zero's interior was filthy and the fan was almost burnt out and leaking oil. Steve had the part with him and was able to fix it, clean it and check my other 3 Sub Zero drawers all within an hour. His clean up was thorough and he was very polite! His price was very reasonable. I would HIGHLY recommend his services! read more

Truly the best service/repair person I've ever dealt with, Steve made the process of getting my 26 year old Sub Zero back up and running stress free and extremely economical. He was diligent, thorough and extremely knowledgable about all things Sub Zero. Steve has all parts needed for any repair that comes up (even a brand new compressor for my 26 year old freezer) and his main concern at all times is fixing the problem, not upcharging for unnecessary work. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Steve and his company Sub Zero Solutions to family, friends, and literally anyone who is having an issue with their Sub Zero appliance. read more

I simply had to write a review because I was so impressed with this company. Starting with my original call-which was answered promptly and and the person I spoke to was immediately helpful (& reassuring). This person listened to my description of the problem, and most importantly did not make me feel stupid for my uninformed assessment of the situation. I was told they'd send someone out between 12-2, and that's exactly when Jason showed up. When Jason showed up, he was very polite and professional. He said his name, the company's name, and then asked if he could come in to take a look at the freezer. I had my one year old grandson with me, and I appreciated the fact that he took that time to make me feel comfortable letting him into my house. Once Jason was in the freezer (while being the best entertainment my grandson could've had), he stopped a few times to explain what he was doing and why. Of course the best part is that my sub-zero fridge/freezer is up and running. He also gave me advice on how and when to care for my sub-zero. Thank you to the company and especially to Jason. I will definitely use subzero Viking solutions for all my appliances from now on. Thank you! read more
