Bringing in another year of amazing food at Tea Pot. I've been coming to this place for the past 25 years and it is hands down my favorite vegan restaurant. Even my non-vegan friends love it. Lyle the owner is such a lovely caring person. Always pleasant and friendly. Great place for gatherings. Clean restaurant.

Teapot Vegetarian is a family run Chinese vegan friendly restaurant. All of their food is plant-based and incorporates mock meats and sauces many people will be familiar with if they grew up in the States. Everything is designed to be shared family style and portions are pretty good here too. The Laksa was our standout dish. Everyone comes here for it and I could see why - the creamy coconut milk curry broth with noodles and veggies/tofu was spectacular and a must. We also enjoyed the Corn Chowder as that really reminded me of home. Claypot Veggies were way too salty sadly and without the included rice, it felt like something was off. I should probably stop ordering claypot dishes at veggie restaurants as they tend to be very saucy without much else. Service here was very friendly and they took great care of us. It's a relaxed environment and one I'd return to again.

Hot sour soup Best of all that was ordered, perfectly made, but the portion was too small for four of us. We had to ration to a half small cup. For 12$, I expect at least one serving for four. Steamed veg dumplings. Good , but we have had better. Laska Broth was flavorful, but not to the hype I read in the reviews Oyester mushroom florentine. Nice umami flavor, but nothing else, little seasong and spice will elevate this dish greatly. Singapore rice noodles. Curry flavored rice noodles could use more seasong and spice. The ambiance was ok. the service was quick, not crowded. All of the dishes can be elevated with seasoning and appropriate spice.

After a long day of work, I decided to reward myself with some hot and sour soup. I ordered via HappyCow app and that was a very simple process. The service was excellent as the food was ready for pickup in half the time predicted. This restaurant is nestled in a strip mall near a busy road. Once I stepped into the restaurant I noticed how cute it was with its happy Buddah greeting me. The soup was delicious but a bit pricey. The current price may be chalked up to inflation. I look forward to coming back and trying some of their other vegan dishes.

Pretty good vegetarian spot that's easy to eat healthy at if that's what you're looking for. It was relatively empty when we visited so service was super quick. Food hits the spot but is not your usual oily or indulgent stuff and that's nice . Ambience is calming and casual. Would recommend

We ordered the La Catrina and Fire in the Hole pizzas and while a bit pricy, it's a wayyyy better deal than pizza at the other local spots like Pagliacci's and Zeek's. The crust was so light and crispy, the pieces held together well and none of the slices really fall apart when you pick it up to eat. They offered us some hot honey on the side too when the pizzas came out and that was a welcome addition too the Fire in the Hole. I didn't find it too spicy but consider your own spice tolerance before ordering. The La Catrina was my favorite of the two. The steak and the toppings all went together so nicely that it 100% beat eating tacos at your average PNW taco truck (but obviously not California tacos). Pickled red onions on the pizza really gave it the depth of flavor it needed.

Also loved the extensive selection of whiskey, cocktails, and non alcoholic cocktails. Non alcoholic options really allow anyone to relax with a drink. I ordered the mango mocktail and the banana curry, and both were delicious. The curry especially stood out. Rice isn't included by default, but there are plenty of carb options--you can add noodles on the side if you're not in the mood for rice. Portions are very generous, so come hungry. One slightly odd thing: they had space heaters running indoors. The overall temperature was comfortable, but the person sitting right in front of one was definitely feeling the heat. Service was very attentive and friendly, though not the fastest--dishes didn't all come out at once. It looked like there were only one or two people in the kitchen, so it's understandable. Overall, if you're vegan/vegetarian--or dining with a group that has dietary restrictions--and you're in Bellevue, this place is worth checking out.

For an appetizer, we got the special which was a four piece crispy rice appetizer. It was pretty good. My husband and son liked them both but one was a little too spicy for me and the other I thought needed a little something more. But overall pretty good. I ordered the Chirashi bowl. The tako (octopus), seared tuna, sake (salmon), hamachi (yellowtail), maguro (tuna), tamago (egg), ikura (salmon roe), ebi (shrimp), hotate (scallop), and superwhite tuna in the chirashi were sliced nice and thick. Some places cut them thin but here the size was perfect. Not too big, not to small. Just right. My husband got the ultimate Bento and my son ordered the Tuna Bento. They both got sushi, tempura and salad in their bento. The tempura was super crispy and the perfect amount of thickness of the batter. My husband and son loved the tempura. Their sushi was really good and the cut of the fish was just the right thickness. This is a family business and the girls serving us we're really nice and checked on us often.
