And it can be frustrating looking for a plumber you can trust. I needed a reliable company recently for two occasions. Team Rooter came through with flying colors. Once at my parents' house for a clogged bathtub (clog was found deeper underneath the house) Justin was very thorough. He searched all the plumbing connections including all the sinks in the house and even in the kitchen. He then suited up and crawled into the shallow crawl space under the house. Found the issue, resolved the matter, and all the awhile kept himself and the house clean! Then another trip was at my condo for a busted water heater. Kevin and Edwin went above and beyond. They made quick work of the situation. They even did some drywall work that was damaged from the leak. I happened to have some extra drywall at home, but they did all the work. Great guys to talk to as well. Both times, Team Rooter came at odd times in the day and made my headache go away. If you're looking for transparency, trust, reliable, professionalism, and competitive pricing, Team Rooter checks all the boxes. My yard drain was plugged up during this rain storm. Not knowing a good drain clearing service I decided to go with an ad that I got in the mail for Team Rooter. Their ad was for $93 or it's free any drain any time. I was skeptical, wondering what their gimmick was. My first impression was with their customer service that answered the phone. She was super nice and assured me that if I didn't like the service tech there would be no charge for coming out to my place. I was still skeptical but satisfied enough to make an appointment. On the day of the appointment and within the time they promised, Daniel came to my door. Now I wouldn't call him the smell good plumber but he was cleanly dressed in a Team Rooter uniform. He was very pleasant and explained what he would do and the options that I had. I went with the $95 rotor service and he went to work. He worked hard trying again and again to get through the roots in my yard drain but alas he could not clear the drain. He then patiently explained to me what my options are going forward without any high pressure sales pitch and no sign of giving my bs. I decided not to go further so I can think about it and also for the rain to clear up. I then pulled out my wallet to pay but he said no charge because he didn't clear the drain. We called they answered sent a man over he inspected the sewer found it to be impacted roots..poor materials poor previous repairs .... We talked about it with Leo made a plan and they executed. A bizarre sexist experience. Women should avoid this company. I called this morning to schedule a same day fix of a minor toilet issue. The woman on the phone seemed very sketched out that my last name is different from my husband's after I mentioned I was going to the doctor during the service timeframe and to phone him instead. We own a townhouse in a building with four units. Five minutes after scheduling, the woman called back. She said she googled my address and it's a high rise apartment building (it's not) and that on Google the pictures "definitely does not look like townhouses" and "there are obviously more than four units" (there aren't). I googled my address and every site immediately identifies the building as containingfour townhouses. She was aggressive and condescending when I explained we do not live in a high rise and basically accused me of lying. She said they would not go forward with repairs unless they could speak to my husband. She said they'd be calling him to coordinate from here. My bad! I guess my silly woman brain can't count and got confused. It's probably the feminist in me, making me keep my own last name and all, that causes me to be so silly and irrational. Suffice to say, I cancelled the appointment as these people are not worth the hassle. I received continuous updates regarding my appointment, via text and email. I so appreciated this feature. Jonathan was the technician who helped me today. He was very polite and really listened. He is such a well-rounded individual, he walked me through all the issues and helped come up with a game plan. I appreciated that Jonathan was very knowledgeable and really engaged in the conversation, not just trying to sell something. I was also pleasantly surprised and happy that your company comes out on the weekend and does not charge extra. Being a first-time customer, there was a 10 percent discount that really helped. On their website, there are other coupons, such as military, etc. Every bit helps. One thing that I noticed which I don't ever remember seeing before was Jonathan had foot coverings on when he came inside. He removed them as he stepped outside to do a check. I thought wow, how thoughtful is this. This was so nice to see. I told him he looked like a surgeon! I would definitely recommend this company and have given several referrals to friends and neighbors, which is also a perk, as you get discounts for referrals. The VIP membership plan is great, this company is invested in maintenance, not just making a sale and sending you on your way to fend for yourself. They will come out twice a year for regular maintenance, which really is such a great feature as well as emergency situations. It's so comforting to have this type of support. Unfortunately, I had paid 7k for a complete re-pipe 5 years ago and the company did a poor job. They took the easiest path for them, which resulted in me having to now pay to have the job corrected. But going forward I know that I will be supported and not subject to surprising large bills. Team Rooter gives you a video of their findings and work, which really cements their level of integrity. Amazing service! David Martin was great! He did a very good and clean job. He was patient and very thorough. He also cleaned up all the dirt and debris. He completed the job quickly. I was very satisfied with his work . I had called originally for service related to my kitchen sink being backed up. The snake was not able to clear stoppage and he showed me that there was a lot of sludge and major grease build up. Then we went with the second option to Hydro jet the kitchen sink line to water pressure to clear stoppage but it was still severely backed up with grease. He offered to run a camera thru the kitchen line for me to see and Thcamera was not able to pass through due to major sludge and corrosion and grease . So I decided to just change out all the sewage pipes underneath the house and do a complete re drain. David and his partner completed the installation of new pipes all in one day! read more

Ask for Joe! I was able to make a same day appointment for an emergency flooding issue in one of my bathrooms. He showed up ON TIME which was a pleasant surprise. He was able to quickly assess the issue and give me some options. Joe and his team did a thorough job cleaning and clearing out all the pipes, thus fixing the problem. While he was here, I asked for some additional services which he was happy to provide. Joe and his team were really knowledgeable and professional. Beware of this bait and switch company. I called them because I had a slow draining kitchen sink. The $44 charge became over $$300 for the supposedly better rooter. I agreed to that charge because I was under the impression that would open the drain fully. Didn't happen and another guy came out with the camera and quoted me $3500 to descale and hydro jet my sewer line. I declined and sent them on their way. To be clear, my sewer line had been replaced a number of years ago and I have had no problems. Subsequently, I poured hot water in it and opened the drain. read more

While Team Rooter was not the absolute least expensive option, Steven was able to bring down the price of my kitchen faucet installation to within $5 of another local plumber. It wasn't an entirely easy or straightforward job with the existing fixture having corrosion such that the fixture had to be broken off in pieces. He was also able to get my reverse osmosis system up and running, replacing my existing unit. He even performed the haul away of the boxes, packaging materials and old equipment. First when Team Rooter visited. Erwin used the 50 foot snake on the outside of the kitchen and outside the bathroom. After that he did a hydro jet and used the camera to find out we had oil build up in the kitchen. It was causing the blockage to the bathrooms. The pipes basically had a heart attack. Team Rooter (Steven A. and Erwin) explained everything to my family and I what the job would entail. It would take about 3 days to get it done. They made sure we knew what was going when digging, where the new pipes would go and how it would break the clay pipes and be replaced with the ABC pipe. It is supposed to last 100 years. Photos and videos were provided along the way. The initial invoice and final invoice were sent via email. It was a costly price, but luckily financing was offered. One with interest for 32 months at 5.99% and the other with no interest for 18 months. It's better to put more down. So you don't have to worry about paying more toward the interest fees. I like that there is the 20 year warranty and a one time free snake clean up if there is any back up. read more

Thank you Team Rooter! We replaced a 150 foot mainline underground as well as our plumbing under the house (from cast iron to the commercial grade PVC plumbing (I'm sure there's a name for it).
