Clearly this company does not need add'l rave reviews from me, someone who didn't even wind up getting work done with them. But I couldn't NOT leave a review because Natal was so wonderful. Long story short, I changed plans and am no longer getting a new water heater. But the friendly help and stellar communications from Natalia were appreciated and impressive. When I sent her a photo of the existing water heater and expressed concern about what the new, tankless water heater would look like, she sent AI (or photoshop) -generated images showing exactly what it would look like in my garage. When I shifted gears and said "Maybe we can put it outside, she addressed all of the logistical concerns, sent a tech out to go over the situation, then generated an elaborate quote that broke everything down beautifully. And then, of course, I used ChatGPT to troubleshoot what can go wrong with moving a water heater ten feet, while changing from tank to tankless and going from interior to exterior and it gave me about twenty concerns. Most of them seemed like AI nonsense but some of them were good points. Make sure your gas meter is X size, make sure your gas line is 3/4", many concerns about re-circulation situation... I'm sure the Natal and her techs new all of this and knew to determine some things on the day it was installed but Natal took every one of my concerns to heart, realized some were valid concerns that were not addressed on the first time a tech came out to quote the job so sent our another tech to take a closer look. And then I never did the job... Natal was as pleasant and sweet the last day as she was the first day. Just eager to gain my trust and do the job. Clearly, that has been most people's experience, too, as i look at these other reviews. Look, I don't get the impression that On Call Water Heaters shows up with three brand new vans all emblazoned with the name of the company in a full vehicle ad-wrap and the price she gave me reflected that... smaller outfit with less personnel that gives good pricing and good service with a good attitude. As usual, it's one or two people at a company that make it stick out and in this case it's all Natal. read more

There are very few people who truly go above and beyond anymore, but Anthony from Oncall Water Heaters is absolutely one of them. If I could give them 10 STARS I would. We had a massive, old water heater that wouldn't fit up the basement stairs or through the door. I told him he could just leave it behind, but Anthony refused to take the easy way out. Instead, he painstakingly cut the entire unit in half just to haul it out for us. He finished a grueling job that most other companies would have walked away from. His work ethic, professionalism, and dedication are unmatched. I can't say enough great things about Anthony and the company! Do yourself a favor and give them a call! read more

Great company & response. Never met them, everything was done by phone or text. Had a rental that I needed a water heater installed urgently, b4 a new tenant moved in. I live an hour away so inconvenient for me to be there. They gave me a great quote on my preferred heater, after I approved they didn't have it. No matter, they gave me a better heater at the same price. Who does that? I own other rentals. If I need another water heater, guess who I'm gonna call? read more

Our 17-year-old water heater recently started failing, so I reached out to On Call Water Heaters through Yelp. Natalia was incredibly helpful--she guided me in choosing the right tankless system and patiently answered all my questions. The very next day, Rafael came out and installed the new NPE-240A2 (NG) tankless unit. He did a great job, tested everything thoroughly, and explained how it all works. Natalia stayed in touch throughout the entire process and made everything smooth and stress-free. I really appreciate her support. What a fantastic experience with On Call Water Heaters! On Thanksgiving our water heater stopped working. That evening I used the Yelp feature that sends out inquiries to a bunch of companies. I initially booked with another company just because they responded immediately and were available at 9am the next day. Big mistake. That company charged $120 just to come look at the water heater and say it needed to be replaced. The person who came out was all over the place with pricing and eventually settled on an insane amount for a replacement of a tank water heater. In comes Natalia to save the day. She quoted a great price and said it could be changed out same day. Ignacio was who came for the replacement and he was fabulous. He did a great job and was a lovely person too. What a great company. Will definitely use them for yearly maintenance and recommend them to anyone we know! read more

What a great service! Natalia and her team has been a pleasure to deal with to replace our old water heater. Our water heater broke and leaked on Thursday night, and they replaced it on Friday afternoon. Natalia kept us in the loop, and followed up with us after the job was finished to make sure everything was okay. Their crews worked hard, and they did not leave any mess on our bright gray carpet. Their price was very competitive, too. read more

Our water heater died overnight. Woke up to a shower of cold water only on a Sunday. You know the feeling. Called Natalia at On Call Water Heaters because they came through 5 years ago and nothing has changed. Quick reply, quote of a very fair price and switched out the old for the new in hours from the call. Their name says it all. Thanks from Bob Leone read more

Natalie was helpful in choosing a new water heater to replace our very old tankless heater. We converted back to a tank water heater because our enclosure doesn't meet code requirements for the new tankless models. I checked out the details of the selected heater and decided to changed to a different model # on the day of installation. She also promptly corrected an error on the invoice. Rafael arrived early in spite of the change and did an efficient and professional install. read more

Very nice to work with Natalie and the water heater was put in place as directed. The price also is comparable and was done in time.

Natalia was very responsive from the moment I posted a pricing request and after technician Anthony completed the job. The price they came with was 40% less than what our regular plumber estimated and it took less than 2 hours to complete. Great discounts without cutting corners, I highly recommend them, they really earned their 5 star ratings. read more

This is only a review for getting an estimate. The company does a bait and switch and I believe a lot of the reviews here are false. I don't typically review but don't want someone else to be scammed. I submitted a project through Yelp, specifying our water heater model and error code we were getting. Natalia responded with a $99 flat rate estimate to clear the error code plus a flush service. I called her to get more details, and she was a little confusing and noncommittal but I figured since this is what she wrote, it was fine. She said someone could be there by 9 am. When they were already on their way, she messaged me that they would do a flush for $275 plus diagnostic fees, and a replacement would be $3700-4000 (none of which she said when I talked to her on the phone). I told her we wanted to cancel and she said sorry he's already on the way and she can't reach him. We refused service when he arrived, but it was all in all a very negative experience using misleading bait and switch tactics. read more

The lady in the phone was great. super quick with an estimate and a schedule for my water heater repair. quoted me a flat rate for my repair based on the issue I was having. got a tech to come, same day. when Raphael, the tech, got here he was nice and quick and my water heater has been working just fine for two weeks now. all seems well. he had to fix an additional thing on my water heater but they stuck to the flat rate they quoted to me over the phone. Great quick service and a really good price read more

Had a very good experience replacing my water heater. I would use them again for any water heater issue in the future. 1. Responded within minutes and got same day service. 2. Good communication - didn't feel like I was being pressured into anything. Natalia was very friendly and helpful and answered my many questions and got me what I needed. Gave me updates on when the driver was going to arrive and was easy to get a hold of during the entire process. 3. I felt the pricing was fair/good. Another place quoted me a much higher price to replace my water heater. 4. Service by technician was good. On time, friendly, hard working, easy to work with, and even used a broom to clean up the water heater closet which had accumulated a lot of leaves/dirt/debris. The job was done well and everything was pretty quick - less than the two hour estimate. 5. My issue (no hot water) was solved in one visit and I should be good for a long time as the new unit has a 12-year warranty. read more

On Call Water heaters provided the best service. Customer service is so important to me and I am so pleased with the service from On Call Water heaters. Natalia is friendly, easy to work with, provided good information and is super responsive. We bought a new 60 gallon water heater for our home and the technician did a good installation. We own a rental property and the new tenants had the gas company come out to inspect the forced air heat. while they were there SCE also inspected the water heater. The tenants water heater was working fine before SCE but some how SCE saw a spark when they opened the water heater and turned off the water heater - red tagged it. Thankfully, we called On Call, Natalia sent a technician to replace the water heater and the tenants did not have to go without hot water. ON CALL to the rescue. We will use and recommend On Call to anyone needing a water heater. read more

Natalia is very great at setting up appointments and getting the plumber there on time they fixes my water heater and had hot water up and running very promptly I will always call them for any of my plumbing issues read more

Service was quick, less than 24 hours. The plumber who came to the house was efficient and showed his work when complete. Communication was lackluster, I was told they would be out by 6:30pm same day and when asked I was told sorry I thought we told you it would be tomorrow. The price was higher than others, but they were a faster service so I was ok with the additional cost. When I was invoiced the price was different from both of the original quotes. The invoice was fixed after I asked. read more

I had another problem with another water heater not working. At first, I looked at the blinking red lights, which showed the problem that I needed to fix. Going through the guidebook, I see what type of problem to fix. I called around different plumbing companies but found that On Call Water Heaters had the part that I needed to fix the water heater. They were pretty fast to install the part on the water heater, and it worked for a couple of days. Then, the water heater stopped working again. So I called Natalia from On Call Water Heaters about the problem. It seemed my best solution was to replace the old water heater with a new one. So, Natalia used some of the money that I paid for the fixed part as a deductible to pay and install the new water heater. Just as the plumber was gonna get ready to install a new water heater, he noticed that gallon size was wrong. I needed a 30-gallon size instead of a 40-gallon size. So, it added some extra time to get this water heater problem resolved by exchanging the 40-gallon size one for a 30-gallon size one. By the time the plumber got the new 30-gallon water heater, he went to work, taking out the old one and replacing it with the new one, which was pretty fast. After installing the new water heater, I felt better since hot water was back and cold showers in the winter were going gone. read more
