Reached out to Same Day Water Heater for a quote, was offered by Tanner to come out the next day as I messaged them late at night. I decided to wait to get a few more quotes, one other plumber told me he wasn't able to find the part I needed and then didn't reply to my messages at all, and the other plumbers I messaged just didn't respond. Decided to message Same Day Water Heater again and Tanner messaged me back very quickly, began working on finding the correct part by calling several warehouses, and by the next morning he was able to secure it and offer me an installation date. On the day of installation, he provided his ETA, arrived on time, explained the issue, checked in with me as he was doing the repair, and went over everything that was done before he left. Tanner was very professional, very reasonable with his pricing considering how last minute the repair was requested, very straight forward in getting the repair done quickly, and will definitely be hiring him moving forward. Highly recommend his business to anyone needing these services. read more

My old tank water heater started leaking, so I needed a replacement quickly. I messaged Same Day Water Heater and Tanner came out for a quote the very next day. He was upfront from the start about timing and about why the old unit needed to be replaced. I like fixing things around my house, so when pros come over I ask a lot of questions, including plenty that aren't strictly relevant to the job. Tanner answered every one of them and explained everything patiently. Before starting, he researched the city codes and kept me updated at every step. It was easy to see he wanted to do the best job possible. He was transparent about my options and pricing, and he pointed me to the rebates available in my area for going tankless. He was also incredibly flexible when it came to payment. When the method we'd planned on ran into limits, he worked with me on another option without any fuss, which was a kindness I didn't expect. The install took one day and went smoothly. I even had to leave before he finished, which was no problem. He explained everything before I left and made sure to clean up. He also replaced an old outlet for me at no charge, which was such a kind surprise. Home repair pros don't always have people skills like this. I was impressed from start to finish. I'd highly recommend Same Day Water Heater! read more

Highly recommend Tanner and Same Day Water Heater -- responsive, fair, and meticulous. I'd hire him again in a second. Want to know why? Read on. I can't say enough good things about Tanner from Same Day Water Heater. He was incredibly responsive from the very first Yelp message and gave me one of the most competitive quotes I received -- about $350 more than my last plumber but $550 less than other bids. The difference was in the quality and thoroughness of his work. Tanner didn't just swap out my water heater -- he installed all the proper code-required components: PVC venting for the condensing unit, a pressure valve, grounding wire, and new plumbing runs for the condensate and pressure relief lines. He even handled the electrical hookup himself and took my old tank with him when the job was done. Everything was done cleanly, professionally, and with attention to detail I rarely see anymore. The new system runs perfectly, and I feel confident it's fully up to code. Sorry for the poorly lit photo, it's nighttime so trying to shine some light on the work. read more

I am not sure what more I can add to the glowing reviews for this company. Simply put, Tanner is the most professional, honest, and thorough contractor I have ever come across. After my tank water heater started leaking, I reached out to several companies for quotes. Many of them clearly wanted to cut corners for the job; others added multiple options or recommended yearly subscriptions. Tanner initially spoke with me on the phone and patiently answered all my questions. I sent multiple follow-up questions via text, and received prompt responses with thorough explanations. As other reviewers noted, Tanner is a genuinely kind and friendly person, which is ultimately why I chose his company. The pricing was more than fair, especially for the stellar work. Frankly and embarrassingly, the closet for my heater was quite filthy. While aesthetics are not a priority for this kind of work, Tanner cleaned up the area and put together a really nice looking installation. Afterwards, he gave me a detailed explanation of the work and code requirements. If you have any issues with a water heater, I really cannot recommend Same Day Water Heater enough. read more

Recently, I had a water heater issue after a major storm. Like most people these days, the first thing I did was ask ChatGPT about the error code flashing on my water heater to get a sense of what the problem might be and how serious the fix could be. It was around 8PM, when I sent out a project request on Yelp, and Same Day Water Heater responded within minutes! They confirmed it was most likely the same issue ChatGPT had identified, which immediately made me feel comfortable and confident. They also offered to come out the following evening for a free inspection and estimate, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent from start to finish; they kept me updated on timing and arrival. Tanner was the technician who came out, and he was friendly, easygoing, and very professional. After inspecting the unit, he confirmed the issue we had discussed, provided a very fair estimate, and got straight to work. My hot water was fully restored within about 90 minutes, and it's been working perfectly ever since. I'm genuinely glad I found this company and will absolutely use them again for any future water heater needs. Highly recommend. read more

Reached out to a few plumbers to get quotes for a tankless water heater. Tanner stood out as someone who actually responded, scheduled a time, communicated his ETA, and provided a thorough, competitive quote by the timeframe he said he would. He was very diligent in his initial inspection and took his time to explain the scope of work he would perform, the code requirements, and any potential risks with a project like ours. Although we've had to put off the project for some time, Tanner continues to be a great resource with his wealth of plumbing knowledge and willingness to help. It was very obvious to me he is unlike most other contractors in that he genuinely cares for his clients and takes pride in the work that he does - extremely hard to find these days. When we are ready, there is no doubt we will happily invite Tanner to our home to install a new tankless system. read more

Is your water heater on the fritz? Not able to take a shower, run the dishwasher, do the laundry? No problem! Tanner at Same Day Water Heater will get you back on track in no time. How do I know? Our roof sprung a leak in the storms this week and rained down on our 2013 old clunker of an interior water heater leaving us with no hot water. It was a Friday night! What to do?? I called friends for recommendations and put out an emergency call out on Yelp, and after talking to a few other companies, Tanner was the one who came through. He was immediately responsive, super reassuring, and knowledgeable. He stopped by on a Sunday (!) to check out the problem. His price was the best, he was on time, fully prepared, true to his word, gave great advice, and got us back up and running in no time. Don't bother calling anyone else - he has my full recommendation. Thanks Tanner! read more

Tanner was very professional and did a great job. I highly recommend him. I'll use him again

My 100 gallon commercial water heater was having problem providing consistent hot water for almost two weeks. I sent out a request on Yelp, asking for any interested party for repair service. Tanner replied and was able to come in a few hours. Unfortunately, because the heater has been working on and off, on the day he came, the heater was working and showing no errors code. He couldn't really diagnose but suspect maybe the issue is due to the circulation pump. I called Tanner the seconds day while the water heater was down. He came and saw the shown error code, indicating possible issues that's causing the inconsistent hot water. He called the manufacturer on the spot and found out it was due to a dirty flame sensor. Tanner cleaned the sensor and now the water heater is working again. I was worry I had to get a new heater because the previous plumber I hired told me it was due to the age of the heater. Tanner is efficient and honest, I'm so glad I found him. Thank you, Tanner!! read more
