I encountered an issue with my gas control valve or thermostat control unit, which was showing an error (blinking red light). I reached out to Mr. Water Heater, the company that installed my water heater a few years ago, and spoke with Parker. He was fantastic--patiently walking me through troubleshooting steps to pinpoint the problem. Ultimately, technician Sam came out to resolve the issue, he was involved with the initial install, I love continuity of working with the same individuals. On the day of the repair, Sam called and texted ahead of time, which I really appreciated. He was incredibly friendly and efficient, making the whole process smooth and hassle-free. I'd confidently vouch for Mr. Water Heater--they're everything you want in a service company: professional, friendly, and fairly priced. It's businesses like this that make you feel grateful as a customer. A big thank you to everyone at Mr. Water Heater! read more

Mr. Water Heater - New 75 Gallon Hot Water Heater installed - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

I had a slow leaky hose that water logged my existing hot water heater. Checking around, Mr Water Heater was the most responsive and had a decent rate for a new unit (not much more than when I replaced a unit over five years ago). Both Jeff on the phone and Sam who came out were friendly and knew their stuff. Sam took extra time to reinstall my stand (was a tight fit) and make sure safety measure were in place. I'd definitely hire them again and recommend to others! read more

Mr. Water Heater - New water heater by Mr Water Heater - Water Heater Installation/Repair Near Me

Had a great experience with Mr. Water Heater! I was transitioning to a tankless water heater so after getting a few bids I felt good about going with Stan & MWH! Stan came out shortly after reaching out via Yelp to assess my home and give me a bid. I received the bid that same afternoon, booked them the next day and within just a few days I had my new tankless water installed. Stan was able to recommend a great electrician and the deal was done! Stan was extremely knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He explained everything so I could understand since I'm not 100% fluent in water heaters. The guys were clean & respectful of my house and my cat who likes to escape if you're not watching. Overall I had a wonderful experience and would highly recommend Stan & MWH!! read more

Wow. I cannot say enough about how professional Stan was in coming and fixing our water heater. He was on time and explained the problem in terms that a layman can understand. He showed me photos and explained the mechanism and helped me understand the problem. He was extremely professional and efficient. I am not going to any other plumber! He was great! Thank you so much!!! read more

After fumigating our house, the gas man came over to turn on our gas and noted that the hose to the water heater was not up to standard and could break at any time. There was also an issue with the exhaust pipe causing corrosion. After several responses to my request to have the hose replaced and the exhaust pipe checked out, I selected Mr. Water Heater and am so glad I did. Sam and I talked on the phone about the issues and we made an appointment for Saturday. He text when he was on his way and arrived on time. After assessing the situation he changed the hose and indicated that the exhaust pipe had just minor leakage and should be fine. I told him that since the heater was old we wanted to get a couple more years out of it while we consider a tankless upgrade. Sam ran through all the pros and cons about tankless and pure electric solutions. It gave me a lot to consider. I felt that Sam was very honest and knowledgeable about my current situation and provided great info on upgrades. I highly recommend Mr. Water Heater for your heater needs and will use them definitely in the future for all my needs. read more

So many things I love about Mr. Water Heater. First of all, Jeff ALWAYS answers the phone and takes the time to listen to your problem, give you several alternatives and, most importantly for this 80-year old grandmother on a fixed income - work within my budget. I also truly appreciated Sam, who drove an hour out of his way to pick up a propane water heater just so I wouldn't have to wait another day without hot water. Sam is a ten-star employee - arrives on time, works steadily without a break, explains clearly what he is doing and is immaculate. My garage was cleaner when he left than when he arrived. He and Jeff also threw in a couple of items I didn't know I needed and didn't charge for them. My new water heater is a Bradford White, made in Michigan. I like buying products made in America and it is simple to operate. It is so easy to light - you just turn a switch and hold down on a button. No door to remove and no lighter needed. No need to call anyone else. Jeff will give you the best product and price and Sam will give you the best service. What more could you ask? read more

My out dated water heaters thermocouple went out. Jeff came and saved us. Yes we need to replace with a later model but times are tough and Jeff was able to get our old one operational. Will absolutely be calling Jeff and his crew to do our replacement as soon as our tax refund comes in. Mr. Water Heater saves the day. read more

This company installed a new water heater for me. For the type of water heater I got and the install service that was provided, they had the best price from all the places I checked out. But not only that, it was their customer service that was really incredible. Jeff at the office was very forthright and answered all my questions, and educated me a good deal on all things re: water heaters. The technician Sam, who came out to install it, couldn't have been nicer and he really did a fantastic and efficient job. 100% recommend! read more

This company responded immediately last year when my water heater gave out. Jeff, called me up and gave me an offer over the phone that I couldn't pass up. The tech arrived at the time he said he would, removed my old unit and installed the new one. Left the area clean & neat. Both Jeff and the tech who unfortunately, can't remember his name, were very professional. I wanted to wait a year before I left this review and so far, so good. If you ever are in the market for a new tank, I wouldn't hesitate to give Mr. Water Heater an opportunity to earn your business. read more

My 18 year old gas hot water heater started having some leaks so I researched a few companies and called Mr. Water Heater. I wanted to switch to an electric heat pump water heater and Jeff (owner) walked me through the options as well as tankless options. He was super knowledgeable and responsive to all my questions. I chose a Bradford White 80 gallon heat pump water heater which is close to double the cost of a regular gas water heater. But after federal tax credit and DWP rebate the cost is almost the same, and its 7x more efficient over time than my previous hot water heater. Needed a 240v electrical installed for it but current federal tax credits also cover 30% of that. On install day Sam was thorough and did a great job with adding the mixing valve and expansion tank I opted for and with cleaning up. After 24 hours of usage I have plenty of hot water and all is working well. The only other observation is that the unit runs a bit louder on heat pump only mode (most efficient) due to the internal fan but its in my garage and I don't notice it in the house. Its quieter on hybrid mode (heat pump and electric). In summary, great job by Mr. Water Heater and I highly recommend them. read more

My hot water heater was having problems last week and I tried to avoid it as long as possible when I finally decided to do some research on who was actually open (during quarantine) and who was the cheapest to get it fixed. I contacted three different companies and Mr. Water Heater responded back to me the fastest and was actually the cheapest. Patrick was the plumber who came and he arrived on time and got to work right away. My water heater was about 10 years old, so I didn't really think about getting a new one $$$, but Patrick insisted it could be repaired at a reasonable price. About an hour later Patrick assured me that the water heater was fixed. It's only been a few days, but since then it's been working correctly, not making any noises and the water temperature is back to normal. My first impressions of Mr. Water Heater was that they were professional and responsive. I would highly recommend using them for any water heater emergencies you have...they are open during these quarantine times! read more

Wow! This review is for Stan at Mr. water Heater. Super professional, kind and honest. He installed a new tankless water heater for us when our old 10 year old regular water heater went out. What can I say! I have no words! Probably one of the best home repair experiences I've ever had. I initially started the research process on yelp. Multiple companies responded with estimates after I sent a few pictures and measurements. By far they had the best price. All of the arrangements were handled via text or phone call which made things very easy. I was able to schedule my installation in the early evening so that I did not have to leave work early. They even called to let me know that they were on their way and what their arrival time would be. As far as the installation process, Sam and Pete were awesome! They arrived exactly on time and completed the entire removal and installation process within an hour and a half. They were respectful, polite, and clean. Regarding price, this company was the most cost-effective considering I had received estimates for almost double the price. I will pass this name on to anyone and everyone that I know who needs water heater services. read more

I called Mr Water Heater after my home inspection found an extremely old (20 year) water heater that needed to be replaced. I was impressed with all the positive reviews on Yelp and I have to say that my experience with them was 5 star as well. He explained the entire process and instructed me to reach out to him personally if anything should go wrong. I recommend them highly. A++ read more

Very fast inquiry responses, and clear with their needs regarding info on your situation. Reached out to them really late the other night via Yelp, and they immediately responded to setup a call either that same night, or the next morning. Promptly in the morning, they kept their word and called me back. Within the next hour, Samuel was enroute to our house and then on the property with a replacement. Sam was friendly, and got the job done quickly. This was the easiest service call that I've ever experienced...and it was even coordinated with me at work communicating via text and phone calls, while my husband was at home during the install. I'd definitely recommend this company to anyone in the area who finds that thier water heater has decided to call it quits one day. read more

Great experience! Spoke with Jeff who was very communicative. Gave me the best quote out of 6 to replace my 15 y/o water heater which was leaking at the bottom and not fixable. Was able to get an appointment the next day but due to heavy rain and traffic we rescheduled the following day. Not a problem. Sam came on time and replaced the water heater with an industry standard replacement and replaced the shut off valve in under 2 hours. He was very professional and nice. I would recommend them to anyone looking to replace their water heater. This is one of the better experiences I've had in a while with a service company. Thank you! read more

From the first call to Jeff to completion of the water heater, my experience with Mr. Water Heater is easily 5 stars and then some! While speaking with the owner, Jeff I felt he was incredibly honest as he was the fifth business I called and had no idea what the others had quoted. I explained what I needed - water heater, new lines, expansion tank, pan, valves, including a new recirculating pump and Jeff provided a price. However, he made sure I understood that a new pump may not be needed. My hunch is that many other companies would have installed the new pump whether needed or not, while Jeff took the time to educate me. Well, fortunately I needed everything requested, BUT the recirculating pump which saved me hundreds of dollars. Not only was my final price much lower than quoted, but the area looked as clean after install as when I prepped for the installers, Sam and Fabien. Unlike past upgrades in the house with some mishaps, with Sam and Fabien my walls were not damaged, floors not damaged, no evidence whatsoever of any replacement or anyone in the house, except for the new beautifully installed water heater. Sam worked tirelessly for hours with Fabien assisting, even cleaning up quite a bit of water due to a faulty pipe. I had no idea until they were finished and he explained what happened as again there was no evidence of any flooding. Mr. Water Heater is a stellar company with outstanding employees - Sam and Fabien and a trustworthy owner, Jeff. Already referred to several neighbors and friends and I highly recommend them to anyone who wants an outstanding and stress free experience with their plumbing needs! Thank you, Jeff, Sam, and Fabien. read more

I recommend Jeff. He responded quickly, helped troubleshoot my issue and scheduled to come out within a few days. His guys were on time, friendly, professional. The location for the tank electric water heater was elevated about 6 feet off the ground and a bit tricky. They weren't phased and took care of it. Mr. Water Heater definitely stood out after I reached out to multiple plumbing and water heater companies due to an intermittent leak from our water heater. Jeff was quick to respond to my inquiry and to answer any questions. He not only provided competitive pricing, but even recommended an alternative solution to our dilemma. Instead of having to replace our water heater, we went with replacing one of the parts (Hoping that will prolong the life of our water heater). Sam was able to come out to our home in a couple of days and perform the repair quickly after verifying the issue. Our water heater stopped working and I was able to see the code flashing on the unit. I called the gas company and they couldn't help. I called Mr. Water Heater and when I told them the problem and sent them pics, they told me to call the water heater company and get the replacement parts since it would still be under warranty. I thought we were no longer covered so I didn't even think of calling them. Mr. Water Heater could have easily charged me $500 for the parts without me knowing about the warranty. That kind of honest is what makes me realize that good people still exist. As soon as I got the part, they came out and were so kind to my extremely elderly mother who hadn't had hot water in 4 days. I would recommend them to everyone who is in need of water heater repairs. Thanks Sam for being so kind! read more
