I am extremely impressed with Team Rooter. Yes, replacing the 4" and 6" drain line is NOT cheap. But Leo gave me a very reasonable price for replacement of the 4" drain line and worked with me on financing the 6" drain pipe. Danny and his crew are so very professional and reliable. Mark came in and accessed the clean out and ran a bit of water to make sure that the blockage was further down the pipe rather than in the plumbing right underneath the sink itself. He patiently waited and showed me where it backed up. Then he snaked the drain and ran a lot more water. It was clear. He explained the entire time what he was doing. Buyer beware total fraud! Bait and switch. On the phone and on the website, it says $69 for drain cleaning. But when they arrived, they quoted me over $250 and claimed there was an extra fee to remove the pipe to access the drain and that the $69 was only for easy access outside. I don't even know what that means. I never heard of extra charges to undo the pvc pipe to insert the snake. I've had my drain snaked so many times and was never charged a fee to unscrew the pvc pipe. Why do they even advertise $69? Total baloney don't use them! read more

I called after finding that my storm drain was clogged yesterday during downpour. At first my appointment was set for 2-4pm time slot for tech to arrive and given a quote with a senior citizen discount ($100 off). However he had to reschedule for next day. Admittedly I was a little salty but I had to take into consideration that they were busy with others like myself. The tech (Justin)arrived late morning but had to wait a couple more hours for hydro jet and camera to arrive. All in all service was great , clean and professional and willing to work with me. The team cleaned my line and gave me estimate for work needed. I have palm trees and the roots had invaded and crushed my line. Ugh!! The team also hydro jetted my other line as well as a courtesy which I was happy about. Thank you Justin and Andres and I am sorry that I don't remember the other young man's name. The service i needed seemed quite simple-a kitchen drain needed to be unclogged. But soon it became a nightmare with the first tech unable to relieve us of our drain issue. I thought I would have to hire another company but instead, I took the chance and reached out to Team Rooter yet again and I let them know I was a bit dissatisfied with the service I received. Although the technician was a wonderful person, it just didn't sit right that the problem was unsolvable. I paid for a service that didn't seem like it was really completed. Although I decided not to use Team Rooter for my Hydro Jetting that they recommended, it's not a thing bad; It is a matter of what I can afford and it might be the responsibility on the company who put in my home waste pipes thus not costing me anything? But what I do want to make sure I do, is to give a very high review to the service technician by the name of Geovanni Penate. He was very helpful in diagnosing the issue and becasue of the company who put in my piping, I thought I may have a claim for them to flip the bill, so I have to put off hiring Team Rooter. I felt that Geovanni was very honest and took every step to make sure he was correct on the issue. He was extremely polite, seemed very knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. So I had a clogged mainline issue in my plumbing and Team Rooter came and initially charged me $6500 to fix which I thought was already a little steep but since at the time the hydro jet couldn't get through the blockage or so they claimed I agreed . They told me it would be a 3 day job which ended being 4 days , just to tell me that they can't fix the issue and it's going to cost me 30 -35k to fix . I decided to get a second opinion and got it fixed it one day for 5K and the second plumbing company manage to get through in 2 minutes and saw the issue which were roots , they ended solving the issue and giving me a 10 year warranty on top of that . Team rooter however wanted to upsell me to 30-35k , they are scam artists , be carful with this company , do not hire them , they are dishonest and try to capitalize on people urgency to get their plumbing fixed . They should be banned from the plumbing business their sales tactics and price gauging should be illegal .and unfortunately at times they get away with it , they take advantage of people's desperation. But 5 K compared to 30K is a rip off . Do not hire Team Rooter , I repeat do not hire Team Rooter , unless you want to get ripped off . Save your time and go with an independent license plumbing company. I would give them Zero stars but I am not allowed . read more

Really like Team Rooter. Was drawn to them by the website offering a great price of only $44 to clear a clogged drain. When I called the receptionist told me that only applies to houses with easy outdoor access, which mine does not have. So I understood it may cost more. I loved that I received a text with a picture of the plumber before he arrived. He also called when he was 20 minutes away. Johnathan arrived when he said he would and immediately diagnosed that this would cost more because there is no outside access. He would actually have to open up the pipe. He gave me an estimate which was a guaranteed price, and he said if he couldn't fix it there would be no charge. He was finished in about 20 minutes. He explained what caused the clog and that it would re-occur at some point without new pipes. He gave me an estimate for what that would cost which I declined for now. The company does offer a 15% discount for veterans, which I am. All I had to do was ask. Overall, very happy with the service and I would definitely use this company again. read more

I had an emergency where my 4 year old daughter threw my wedding ring down the sink! I called Team Rooter and they sent someone right away. Geovanni arrived at the very earliest possible time given the two hour window and he was amazing. He not only got my rings out of the sink, we asked him to look at our garbage disposal (which we thought needed to be repaired) and asked for a quote. Rather than trying to fleece us for money, he took out his wrench and repaired the garbage disposal free of charge. He was very kind and very professional as well. A++++ in my book. In a world where everyone is scrambling to make a buck, he could have taken advantage of us in so many ways. Mainline was clogged and team rooter showed up and advised that the tree root was probably clogging at the main connection. They brought in a couple of other guys who worked their but off and removed the clog. The workers were great, hardworking and made management look great. I feel I was over charged and the supervisor who came out knew it and took advantage of the situation. I paid $3500 which I though my was too high but I had sewage backing up all over my property so what could I do. I had to pay it to protect the children and pets from possible health issues. They said that they guarantee that it would not clog for 3-5 years , I can't remember but it hasn't even been 1 year and I just called them to come out because the sewage was backing up again. I called for service on Sunday morning and they said they could not come out until Wednesday. I think I messed up by telling the dispatcher that I was a previous customer calling on a warranty. I should have pretended I was new so they could come out sooner. Once again I have toxic water backing up onto my property. I paid 3,200 for 9 months worth of service. Horrible customer service, dispatcher should have made a better effort to schedule me in. It only takes a few minutes to run the snake. What good is a warranty if they can't even come out and service you in a decent amount of time. read more

My level of disappointment is extreme. It challenges me to write a negative review yet my frustration is great and I hope this helps others. Not only did Team Rooter leave our home without hot water for 6 days due to negligence with our gas gage, they used deceptive marketing by quoting the original job at one price then half way through almost doubling the price to finish, which we declined. Then they put the piping in incorrectly which their camera shows. They moved disrespectfully throughout our property and did not show up on time as well as ignoring a specific request to not fill a hole so we could have someone look at the work their camera just showed was wrong. Eventually they came and finished the work. Upon final completion of all the work the owner offered only 10% off, 10% off was a joke! I told him the 10% was not appropriate considering the week plus that our home was out of service due to their negligence and he then suggested he call a city inspector which felt like a backhanded threat. It was extremely bazaar and felt slimy! As a business owner I know how to respect customer service, as a woman this was extremely disappointing, as a customer I would never recommend them again!!! Don't use this scam service. Plumber came and cut 2 holes in different places and on 2 different floors. After not being able to find a pope he's supervisor came saying that they need to cut more walls!!! Then he called someone else and was saying that the problem is behind the washer and then he saw water in there on the floor. All this time they didn't care to notice that there's water in there? Before cutting holes in walls? It's outrageous. They left a house a mess with holes in the walls. I called their office stating that I won't be paying for that and those people are not professionals, they had no idea what they were doing how to locate the issue. I want to give a big shout out to this company, and in particular Angel and Rodney. We first met Angel when we had a toilet clog on Sunday. This happened around 8 am. I was told someone would be there between 11-1. Angel showed up shortly after 11. He augured the clog and found roots. The clog remained. Next he pulled the toilet and there those nasty roots were, sitting there taunting us. He pulled about 6' of nastyness (roots/toilet paper), It reminded me of a horse tail. So gross...Angel recommended a camera inspection and main line clean out. So the next day Angel arrived with Rodney who is the sewer expert. They determined with the camera where the roots had entered and found that they had caused damaged to the cleanout necessitating replacement. Next they hydro jetted the main sewer line and got it cleared out. Oh, did I mention they were doing all of this in the pouring rain? Not one complaint from them. Next they started the excavation to start the cleanout replacement, yup, it's still raining. Sadly there was a problem connecting the new cleanout (4") to the existing 3" sewer line. Turns out the building code changed shortly after this house was built. I'm told 4" sewer line is the new requirement. So now we have to replace that line because you cant connect the two otherwise. Yes it's quite expensive but what can we do? Unfortunately the rain this week has made this project problematic. The trenchless pipe folks arrived but they had to reschedule because the rain made it unsafe to be down in a hole. It's been stressful as a homeowner but I have been comforted by TeamRooter's stick to it-ness. Thank God for Rodney and Angel. They arrive when they are supposed to and don't leave until there is nothing more they can do. And they do what they say they will do, always with a smile. They clean up at the end of the day and communicate the plan for the next day before they go. Poor Angel got sick so we didn't have him yesterday or today. Get well soon Angel! I keep reminding Rodney to not get sick till AFTER he finishes my job. We need you Rodney! Tomorrow is the day this job should be completed.
