As a homeowner since 2020, I recently needed professional plumbing services for the first time. After researching the top three highest-reviewed and licensed companies on Yelp, I found A 1 Sewer Solutions to be the best. The first company I hired, despite their highest rating on Yelp with a verified license, failed the job and even caused property damage to my entrance step and a ground solar light. When I discovered a water leak after their work, they made a false accusation. They said I crawled inside the crawl space and cut the pipe. The owner even threatened me, saying, "I will do everything to stop you from leaving a bad review about my company on Yelp." Their one-year warranty is useless, as they will find the blame on the customer to avoid responsibility. This was the worst experience I've had using all rating systems including Yelp's and it made me suspicious of the unusually high ratings some companies have. I now recommend checking BBB and Google reviews as well for safety. After this incident, I hired A1 Sewer Solutions for the second half of this major sewer repair job, and it was the right decision. The A1 team was sincere and courteous from start to finish. They kept the work area clean and safe, using necessary safety signs throughout the project. When I found a small scratch found on the newly painted garage wall, they fixed it with matching paint. No excuses, no false blaming on the customer like the first company I hired. I call this "professionalism and responsibility." All works done by A1 have been excellent, with no issues so far. While the sewer pipe work is not cheap as known , compared to other highly-rated and licensed companies on Yelp, A1 Sewer Solutions proved the most reliable, honest, and affordable resolution during this highly inflated labor market. Although Yelp's review system initially failed me, A1 turned out to be the right company for the job. I wish I had hired them from the beginning. Eric, Hugo, and everyone at A-1 were absolutely great to work with. Communication was excellent. Hugo came out and did the initial inspection of our sewer lines. Getting a quote and scheduling the work was a breeze and Eric and his crew were there a few days later (after it stopped raining) to replace a broken elbow in our sewer line. They did an excellent job and we were very grateful for how well they filled in the trench after they were done -- you couldn't even tell that they had to dig a large trench in the yard to get the work done. We were very impressed with their work. They also did a smoke test which identified a leak behind our washing machine, where we had some odor coming in.
