He suggested that it needed a new circuit board. He ordered it from his company source but he kept running into snags. He kept following through on keeping me updated on the timeline. When it finally arrived he set up a return visit to install it. since I was concerned this might happen again, he suggested that I get a WiFi connection so that I could access these issues on my iphone BRILLIANT! Adeedo? More like AdeeDON'T! These folks are great at teamwork. Unfortunately, the teamwork is all about ripping people off instead of about plumbing. And I suspect they specialize in taking advantage of senior citizens. We had a leak from the drain on our toilet on the second floor. Adeedo plumbers took a look and said the old cast-iron drain pipe was failing and should be replaced. They gave us an estimate that seemed high, but we went with it because we just wanted to get it taken care of. The plumbers seemed to be doing fine work. Meanwhile, there was another piece of work they recommended we have done, with another exorbitant price tag attached. When we balked at that price, they came back a day later and said they could do it for half the original quote. We ended up not having them do that work, but it did make us suspicious about their pricing practices. When the plumbers finished replacing the cast-iron drain with ABS pipe, they had jostled the other cast-iron drains in the bathroom, creating leaks from the shower and the sink. And they didn't reconnect the toilet. So we started with a toilet leak and ended up with a totally nonfunctional bathroom. At this point Ramon, who was our main point of contact with the company, ghosted us. Twice they sent people, unscheduled, to patch the wall where the shower and sink drains were leaking. Why would we want the wall closed up with leaking drain pipes behind it? We moved on to another plumber due to Adeedo's unresponsiveness. But we did get someone from Adeedo to finally come and reconnect the toilet. He wanted full payment for the original job on the spot but said someone from the company might be able to work out something with us later since we were not satisfied with the service we received. This new contact, Alfonzo, is just as unresponsive. Although I've spoken to him three times, he always says he needs to talk to this person or that person to "understand what happened" and he'll get back to us. He never does. We hired another plumbing company, Charlie's Sewer and Drain, to replace all the cast-iron drain pipes from the bathroom. They did a great job on the much more extensive project and charged us less than Adeedo did for its unsatisfactory work. P.S. After this review was posted, Adeedo did reach out to discuss the issues we had. They ultimately gave us about a 30% refund. read more

I recently called Adeedo because my kitchen sink had been draining very slowly for months, and I finally decided to get it fixed. I had never used their services before -- I simply received a flyer and decided to give them a call. They sent technician Julio Vasquez, and I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience. He was extremely professional from the moment he arrived. He immediately put on boot covers, even though I told him it wasn't necessary. That level of care and respect really stood out to me. Instead they tried to upsell me on $20,000 of repiping the whole house. I have used Adeedo several times in the past, and liked their work, but this time I was not completely satisfied with the job they did, First, to remind anyone, they say 100% happiness guarantee. They did a plumbing job, because my shower valve was leaking and causing water damage to apartments below my unit. The job was done when I was not at home. They replaced the old valve with a new one, that does not let me control the amount of water that comes out of my shower, claiming that this is the company's standard, which may be the case, but it is certainly not the only valve available, as I found the old type for sale. I have sent the company several emails in regard to this matter, and was told that this would be sent to management, and that I would be contacted within a week, though nothing has happened, even though it has been almost 3 weeks. One of the repair men, who did the job came back 2 times, and repeated the same thing as mentioned above, and said nothing could be done without me paying for it. I have also spoken to his manager, who was also on the job, and he insisted on the same thing. Then I asked him specifically and he said they can replace the valve for me at an additional cost of over $3000. I have not heard from the company since, and have requested a refund for the installation of the wrong type of shower valve. Min Ukani is a rare example of an outstanding technician and scrupulously honest member of the plumbing profession. I first met Min several years ago after Adeedo replaced two mixing valves in our bathroom because there was no hot water in the shower or tub. It took 3 days, and the cost was $10,000. It did not correct the problem. They called Min to figure out what the problem was. In 5 minutes, he discovered a faulty $5 part on our tankless hot water heater which he replaced-problem solved. This time, his company gave me a $6000 estimate to repair a gas leak they discovered outside our home. I called Min, and he repaired the leak in a hour and charged less than $300. Today, an Adeedo service technician, Rene Flores, was sitting inside of his service truck parked in front of my home. I asked if he wanted to make a $25 tip. He said: Depends on what you want me to do. Can you attach a dryer vent duct to the back of my dryer? He said: Let me take a look. In less than 10 minutes, he attached the vent duct and then graciously refused to accept the tip. He said, Consider this a complimentary service! Who does that? Rene Flores, that's who! In October 2025 we signed a contract with Adeedo Plumbing to perform emergency gas like work for a gas line leak at our Santa Monica property.This work was very expensive. Per our contract and as advised by Adeedo regarding our situation, we expected Adeedo to see our project to completion/finalization per the city code requirements. The City Permits were obtained by Adeedo Plumbing for their work on this job and another job on our property. The other job was finalized on 12/29/25 by the city inspector. However, the city inspector did not sign off on the other permit because the city is requiring that a correction be made on the work. Adeedo has had months to resolve this issue and they have not. We have contacted them multiple times over the past several months asking if the issue has been resolved and they keep saying the city isn't returning their calls, say they will look into it, or they do not get back to us. We have already paid Adeedo in full because they demanded full payment from the beginning of the project. Adeedo already sealed up concrete and a trench they dug at our property after their last in person meeting with the city inspector at the property on 12/29/25 even though the inspector did not approve/finalize the permit. We trusted them to finish this project and see it to completion. We would like them to completely resolve this issue in order to get this permit finalized and/or completed immediately per the City requirements. If Adeedo takes too long, this can allow for the permit lapse and incur more fees. Unfortunately, we have had this happen with another company before and I expressed this concern when Adeedo was demanding full payment. If this issue is remedied, I will update my review. I wish there was an option for zero stars. I requested an estimate to replace a galvanized and cast iron bathtub drain and vent line (fully exposed, very easy access), approximately two 2-foot sections of each (with ABS line). The technician they sent out took pictures and sent them to the office for the estimate. He also "recommended" we replace an 8-foot straight section of galvanized pipe, stating that it was most likely corroding on the inside, obstructing the flow. He presented the estimate of $5K for the requested section and another $4K for the "recommended" section. We ultimately got the ($9K?) job done for less than $1K!!! CROOKS! read more

Adan is professional, courteous, a gentleman and an expert technician! He went above and beyond working very hard to try to unclog my sewer line carefully with a mainline snake. Wow. I'm gonna have to chime in about price gauging and all-around dishonesty. I had a backed up kitchen sink and my plumber was out of town, so I called Adeedo/JW. A well-dressed guy arrived with no intention of doing any real work. He said I needed a clean out installed and it was going to cost $5,300. Lol. There was no other way to fix it. He said he could smell a musty ordor and that my pipe was probably leaking. The problem is he walked into a house with women who know construction. I didn't challenge him, I just kept asking questions and the more he lied to us the more I was determined to warn others. The good news is my plumber got back into town a couple of days later and snaked the drain - no problem. He charged me $150. I think about the elderly dealing with companies like this. Well, I guess it is to be expected. When someone like Adeedo buys up a lot of small companies, then makes everyone drive in nice trucks and an Adeedo outfit...they're not doing it to LOWER prices. My first couple experiences with them were fine/good. A little more $$ than standard, but I get it. All good. However, I just had a guy come out for some issues with my toilet. I spent $240 to have them install a Toto washlet. Totally fine. Expensive but fine. But THEN...I needed to fix a small piece on the toilet and they were quoting me $600, for a piece I found online for $20 that only needs to be twisted in!!!! It was SHOCKING. Never again. I'm sure there are people who don't look what a part costs and just say "yeah, cool, just do it." But this was ridiculous. It was robbery. I'm calling someone else to handle it. If they also charge $600 (or even $200) I will come right back here and apologize. But I don't think I will need to. $15 part is ordered and on its way. A bummer because I liked them in past, but I should have expected it. Back to the independents, where I probably should have stayed. read more
