I help my dad manage an apartment building and the commercial water heater in the building was making a whistling noise for several weeks. I reached out to about 5 plumbers due to a last-minute condition that was put on our house for a double strapped water heater. Jorge was very fast to respond (a majority did not even bother following up) and let me know he would be able to swing by the next day to help with the strap. As I was doing some late laundry on Sunday afternoon I realized that water was backing up into my kitchen sink. At first I ignored it but then I realized that even my bathtub was filling up! This had happened about 6 months back and all it took was a little bleach and boiling water to take care of the issue; however today it was not the case. By this time it was 6 PM and decided to look on Yelp for help. I noticed that Drain It Rooter had excellent reviews and were very close to my house. The owner, George, answered my call, asked me to text him my address, and he was at my home within one hour. He advised that the problem was in the main line leading to the street and he used a snake to try and remove the clog. After several minutes the snake was removed with about two 2-liter bottle sized root clogs! He advised that the issue was great and suggested to use pressured water to remove the clog. After a good 20 minutes of trying, it was evident that the clog was way more serious than expected. He used the camera and realized that the clog was in the middle of my yard about 30 feet from the current access point. The clog was so large that the camera would show only darkness. George then suggested that the ground needed to be dug up to remove that section of pipe. Keep in mind that by this time, it was already 9PM. At this point I couldn't use my plumbing at all and asked when he would be available to get the problem resolved. He advised that he would be back at my house at 9AM the next morning. Sure enough, George and his helper were at my house the next morning on time! Since I live on a hillside, the hole they had to dig was over 5ft deep but they were able to dig and remove the troubled section by around 1PM. The pipe was beyond clogged. He replaced the pipe and added a new access point. Afterwards, he re-ran the snake throughout the whole system and showed me that the entire system was clog-free! The whole job was finished by 4PM and the price was reasonable for the amount of work that had to be done. Trust me, once you make several enquiries online of how a job like this costs elsewhere, this was reasonable. In addition the work ethic was exemplary and George was extremely professional. I will definitely be calling Drain It Rooter in the future if I run into another plumbing issue and will be recommending George to anyone I know that needs plumbing services. I had a major clog through the main pipes leading through to the city sewer. The first plumber I called wanted to dig up my sidewalk since he couldn't break through with his jetter.
