I needed a plumber to fix leaks in my shower and kitchen faucets, so I searched online and came across Fraser's Plumbing Company. With so many 5-star reviews, I decided to give them a try--and I'm glad I did. Long story short, Fraser's Plumbing Company has earned my business and will be my go-to plumbing company from now on. The service was professional, reliable, and exceeded my expectations. Andrew was the plumber who handled the job, and he was incredibly knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful throughout the entire process. His expertise and kindness made the experience even better. In my opinion, the cost was worth the work done. I'll definitely be calling them again when it's time to install my new water heater cabinet. I highly recommend Fraser's Plumbing Company to anyone looking for quality plumbing services. read more

Very good plumbers. Fair prices. They changed a toilet, lavatory sink, and shower surround. Sorry to hear plumber Albert died after a bad car accident, though. He did some of the work. read more

Maybe I just got unlucky but didn't have a great experience here. Was hard getting a hold of anyone initially to discuss the work. When Greg was able to make it out, he was great at going over the remodel work we want to do and gave a verbal estimate/quote on the spot. All seemed well... Since then have had to call 3-4 times to follow up and try to lock things in. Only had a call returned once and kept getting told they needed to share info or pull things together. Greg seemed to have forgotten almost all the details of the work. Ultimately, after two weeks, I gave up chasing. A real shame - wish it could've worked out and not sure what I could've done differently. ____ Update: lot of movement since initially posting. Had an inspection with another technician (Albert) and had revised quote supplied the same day. read more

My kitchen faucet had a crack and needed a replacement. Since I had such a great experience with Khandi and Greg, I decided to call them again for their service. And just like the previous time, I got a professional and courteous service. Andrew was very nice and professional. He advised to go with a better faucet that will last longer, and that's what I did. Thank you Andrew. Khandi, she is the best! She is one of the nicest people I ever talked to, and mad sure to communicate (which is rare for service providers). If you ever need someone that truly looks out for your best interest and solution for your plumbing needs, call Fraser's! read more

Well we need Fraser's to come out again, thanks old house. The toilet was leaking and we saw the results downstairs. Andrew to the rescue! Yes it took him a while and unfortunately we bought the wrong toilet but Andrew went out and got the right one. Great price and so reliable so we don't call anyone else. Next we have two bathrooms that need to be gutted and you know who we're calling. Thanks Fraser's Plumbing!!! read more

I hired this company because they were available same-day and I had an emergency plumbing issue. Everything went pretty well until the end of the job when I was quoted a random price and given no receipt. Of course I refused to pay until I had an itemized receipt in hand and Greg acted like I was being so difficult. By his "estimate," I was charged $400 more than the parts for 2 hours of labor so I guess they charge $200 PER HOUR FOR LABOR. Wow I should have been a plumber. And I still have yet to see an itemized receipt. read more

I had a busted gas line and the gas co cut my gas off. I think I paid more for weekend rates but worth it in an emergency. 3.5 hours of labor including going to the hardware store cost me $450 total. Overall I'm happy with the work but not happy with the cost since I did 95% of the digging before the technician arrived. I'll still give the 4 stars and will call them before anyone else since they are local to LA and were very quick after calling. read more

I called Greg at Fraser to repair the shutoff valve for the washing machine. The cheap plastic valve had broken off. I live in a loft downtown, and to Greg that must have seemed like he was going to the moon. First he,was an hour late. Then he complained about the parking (I had to go downstairs to literally lead him to a parking lot). He didn't bring the right parts and had to come back the next day. Again over an hour late. He has a van but for some reason he doesn't even have a tool bag or tool belt. Does mot instill confidence. He charged me $175. I should have charged him for taking up so much if my time. DO NOT USE COMPANY. I suspect the reviews that are 5 stars are fake. read more

Fraser's Plumbing came to the rescue! My kitchen sink started overflowing and our management's plumber said they could come from anytime from 1-4 PM. This was an emergency and I needed someone much sooner. I found Fraser's on Yelp and they did not disappoint. The technician was knowledgeable and got the job fixed fast. I've never heard my drain sound like this before! He also cleaned my swamped kitchen floor. All this for a very reasonable charge. THANK YOU! read more

Great customer service and fast response. Had two others companies come out and this was the only company to be able to get the job done

Fraser's Plumbing is great! Plumber showed up on time, gave me a free estimate and fixed my faucet promptly.

Well I have to just reiterate what excellent service I had from Frasers Plumbing!!! Greg went out of his way to help me! I work a lot of hours and couldn't be home for all the work I needed done (I purchased an old home with shoddy gas pipes). I gave Greg a key.. they came on several occasions to do all the work and everything was left neat and in order when they left!! I just want to add in response to the poster who doubts the validity of this review contact me! I am not related and have not been paid for this review! I am just a single person who trusted the reviews on yelp and took a chance.. and glad I did! so I have to update my review. My previous experience with Fraser's plumbing was great! That being said I called Greg in June to come over and look at my sprinklers as I had three sprinkler heads that were not working. Trusting my previous experience I asked him just to go ahead and fix the sprinklers for me. He didn' get back to me until the end of July but came and replaced my sprinkler heads. When I asked him how much I owed him he told me $175 which I thought was pretty outrageous! when I got my credit card bill he had charge me $245!!! My mistake was trusting him and not getting a pre-written estimate. when I called him to question the charge He told me that didn't include materials and there was a credit card fee! He told me that he would give me a discount if he ever did work for me again! Well that is not happening.. ever! I just had a gardener come by and he's charging me $75 to change all the other sprinkler heads because two more are broken. Don't trust Frasers Plumbing! read more

Fraser's plumbing Company "SCAMMERS " On Friday 18th 11:22am Fraser (owner) asked me what I need & to send pix to his cell phone of the bathroom. He gave me a quote over the phone. He said it was a estimate of about $500 for the scope of the work that I explained to him another contractor friend of mine told me was needed. Day 1 ~I received a call on Monday 21st around 8am from a guy saying he was the plumber with Fraser. I said oh I thought he himself was coming & he said oh no he's too old and laughed. His worker and I went over EVERYTHING that needed to be done. Scope of work: *Change shark bites on shower / tub valve *Install bathtub *Install small access panel in ceiling below I ask what exactly does it cover & where is the invoice and he told me everything we went over would cost $800-$900 (and would take only 2 days) He said he said he can bring the invoice tmw. And let's get started. He spent about 3 hours redoing the shower valve. He said that I needed a couple more items so I rode to a Home Depot with him and paid for a few more copper elbows etc. On our way back I asked again about how they expect the pymt and he said cash or credit card then he asked me to write down my email address & then said Fraser Plumbing Co. will email me the invoice for $900 (The Worker said the new bathtub was damaged, he called Fraser's son & said he was doing work in the area and was going to come by, they loaded up the bathtub on his pickup truck & we took it back to Home Depot. Home Depot exchange the bathtub Fraser son left...So me & the worker loaded the bathtub back onto his pickup truck and brought it back to my house. DAY 2 Worker arrived 1 hour late, no call or anything Tuesday morning around 10am. He rechecked over the valve installation and added a couple of extra clamps to pipe. Mr Fraser (owner) called stating he was outside & ask if he could come in. A friend text & told me to make sure that he follow the valve instructions for tile installation purposes. I told him that my friend that had installed it previously (using shark bites which they said is all wrong) said he allowed enough space for tile and that his worker moved the valve back to a much further position in wall. He stated that time is money and I'll have to pay extra (I told him NO, that his guy moved it back from the original position & that my friend based it off of instructions that came with the valve for tile installation) He went back in forth with me for awhile about it. Mr Fraser made small talk & asked what exactly do a do for a living and when I told him he said "Oh you make a lot of money" (smh I didn't even comment) Mr Fraser & his worker then went to the garage and got the bathtub. He kept asking about the size of the tub. I told him a contractor measured for it & that it will fit. Then they finally installed it. Mr Fraser stated it is a lot of work and that it's a $2,000 job. I told him that before his worker even started that he evaluated the job and told me a price of $800-$900 He did not comment. Then I told Mr Fraser that he told me the other day, over the phone an estimate of $500 based off of what was needed & pictures (And when his worker said NO not enough) I just wanted it done. So I was ok with that and agreed to pay $900 (especially when he explained it was more a fair price for job) Mr Fraser left, his worker then said he had to leave to get something for the bathtub from a better hardware store and said that he would give me the receipt. (which I did not receive) When he returned I asked how much for the part, he said $64) He stayed and worked for about 30 minutes. He said he was leaving because he needed a helper to help with something on tub and didn't have anyone. Then left around abruptly around 3pm. On his way out he said that he'll be back in the morning around 9am. I text Fraser (owner) and requested the invoice for $900 when his worker left and did not here anything from him yet. Wednesday 23 DAY 3 Mr Fraser & his worker showed up together. They connected the bathtub drain. Then he made a few jokes and asked for payment of $1,000 for work done & parts. From what I've learned since they left. The job is not complete. They just threw it in without a bed of mortar, it's to far away from forward studs and not secured properly against the studs with shims. I've put the tile install on hold because I want to make sure EVERYTHING is done right. And I just found out from another plumber that the handle on the valve was not installed properly. I called Fraser's plumbing two times and I have not received a call back. JUST BAD SERVICE! read more

I called SoCal Gas to request a service technician to light the pilot for our heater today; I was told the next available appointment is on Jan. 5th--a whole month later. Not wanting to freeze for another month, I called Fraser's at 10:55am, and by 11:40am, the work was completed. The phone representative was extremely courteous, and the technician was similarly great. Cost was reasonable too! I had called Sears right before, and the cost of the mere diagnostic was more than what I paid Fraser's. I definitely recommend Fraser's. read more

SO glad to have a reliable, affordable plumber. Fraser's have come to our place twice and they do not disappoint. Today Albert snaked our bathroom sink plumbing, fixed two problems with our kitchen sink at no charge, and then added a juncture from the outside line so we can set up drip irrigation on our front yard. He did everything thoroughly and made jobs that give me anxiety seem easy. I will definitely call them again to help us with anything else that needs work. Feeling so grateful to them for their help. I LOVE THESE GUYS!! Absolutely the best service out there. Great guys. Honest, hardworking, top-notch professionals whose work is not only superb, they also know what inspectors require, making their advice invaluable! My old building required a substantial amount of work to pass inspection after a few not so great plumbers had created a mess..and it was just one mess over another mess.. Gregg knew exactly what needed to be done and did it all for a very fair price. I was also particularly impressed when a faulty earthquake valve had turned the gas off for all the units, William came back to the building after hours to ensure all the tenants would not be without hot water that night, instead of waiting until the morning, which I thought was pretty considerate. On top of being time effective and highly knowledgeable about their trade, these guys were just incredibly kind, respectful and non-intrusive to the building's tenants, I loved their laid-back Jamaican style and trust me, you will too..they have my highest possible recommendation for their outstanding service, fantastic work and best prices - they got the job done right - the first time - and kindly made the work affordable. BEST VALUE no question.about it! read more

DO NOT CALL THIS COMPANY!!! I made the mistake of calling this company on a Tuesday during normal business hours because one of my tenants had sewage coming out of the shower. As a Landlord I already knew what that means... the main line needs to be snaked. I called and told them my tenants issue and they quoted me $85 to snake it. Albert the Tech showed up told my Apt. Manager he was going to charge and outrageous fee of $350!!! She called me so I can speak to him, he said the extra charge was to lift up the toilet and reseal it.. meaning a new wax ring. After minutes of going back and fourth with him and James from the office I told them I only wanted what I called for, which was to snake the main line. Albert then told me he would charge me $150 to snake it, at this point it was very clear to me these people that work and own this company are very unprofessional, dishonest and take advantage of your situation. Luckily for me I am knowledgeable and knew to walk away from this company. Save yourself time and ALOT of money by NOT calling this company. read more

Fraser's Plumbing is the best and I'd highly recommend them! They were quick to respond, their service was very professional and accommodating, their work was top notch. I ordered a new washer/dryer from Lowe's and their delivery/installation people left me in the dust without any hookups because of a little faucet leak. I called Fraser's and they were at my home within 45 minutes, they fixed a leak in a jiffy. At that point I was planning to just stick the vent of my new dryer out the window, as my landlord said past tenants had always done (no dryer vent had ever been installed into the side of the home), but Fraser's offered to come back on my next day off to install a proper dryer ventilation system. They did the job quickly, thoroughly, looks great, and all for a very reasonable price. I definitely recommend. read more
