I received continuous updates regarding my appointment, via text and email, I so appreciated this feature. Jonathan was the technician who helped me today. He was very polite and really listened. He is such a well-rounded individual, he walked me through all the issues and helped come up with a game plan. I appreciated that Jonathan was very knowledgeable and really engaged in the conversation, not just trying to sell something. I was also pleasantly surprised and happy that your company comes out on the weekend and does not charge extra. Being a first-time customer, there was a 10 percent discount that really helped. On their website, there are other coupons, such as military, etc. Every bit helps. One thing that I noticed which I don't ever remember seeing before was Jonathan had foot coverings on when he came inside. He removed them as he stepped outside to do a check. I thought wow, how thoughtful is this. This was so nice to see. I told him he looked like a surgeon! I would definitely recommend this company and have given several referrals to friends and neighbors, which is also a perk, as you get discounts for referrals. The VIP membership plan is great, this company is invested in maintenance, not just making a sale and sending you on your way to fend for yourself. They will come out twice a year for regular maintenance, which really is such a great feature as well as emergency situations. It's so comforting to have this type of support. Unfortunately, I had paid 7k for a complete re-pipe 5 years ago and the company did a poor job. They took the easiest path for them, which resulted in me having to now pay to have the job corrected. But going forward I know that I will be supported and not subject to surprising large bills. Team Rooter gives you a video of their findings and work, which really cements their level of integrity. Ask for Geovanni Penate This is our second time working with Team Rooter Venture Inc in the Ventura , CA area.     In 2024, we thoroughly researched and contacted multiple plumbers in the area.  This company was able to schedule service right away (even on the weekend).  They work 24/7 and can show up afterhours and holidays.  They also send confirmation texts for appointments, surveys, etc. and emails for invoice and home inspections should you choose.  Team Rooter had the best pricing for our clogged kitchen sink.  We were so pleased with the work they did that we called Team Rooter again in 2026 for a different plumbing problem.  I liked that they had complete records of the last time they were out.  *FYI, after the plumbing work is complete, they send out a report with a description of the scope of work done.   This month, Geovanni was assigned to us and he is the best  - professional, courteous, knowledgeable, and more than capable. He is the type of plumber I would feel safe referring to my grandmother if she had a plumbing issue.  Professional - I appreciated that Geovanni would call and give a 30 minutes heads up before he arrived and he's pretty punctual.  (Can't stand when other vendors or deliveries would give you a 4 hour window so you're stuck just waiting.)  He brought his tools and laptop to visually show up pricing breakdown and clearly explained our options. I want to know what we will be spending upfront. Courteous - Geovanni is so polite and well spoken.  He acknowledged my children and always wore shoe covers inside the house. He is meticulous and he would put things back if he moved them out of his way.  Some areas of our house were cleaner after he left than before he got there.  Knowledgeable - Geovanni also answered all of our questions (and I had a bunch in the 5 days he was at our house).  He explained in a way we understood. If there was something he didn't know, he would figure it out.  And this is how we met Israel, who also works with Team Rooter.  I think it's great that the Simi Valley office works together to get the job done.  I felt very confident that our plumbing would be in order at a reasonable price by the time they left us. *We also got to meet the Jetter operator and Steven (manager I believe) from Team Rooter. Workmanship - Geovanni worked quickly and efficiently.  The plastic and copper pipes he redid look way better than they did before... instead of multiple right angles, he angled them to flow better and reduce a collection of water (which started our problem in the first place).  He also performed some drywall repair after replacing the pipes, and we were very impressed by his drywall work (he took the time to really match the existing walls on multiple floors in our house).  I am just thankful he was able to fix all of our water issues.         If we have problems in the future, I would def call Team Rooter again.  Would recommend to all of our friends and family. I hired Team Rooter after recent storms caused drainage issues between my backyard and front yard. I have two drain lines, and after getting multiple bids, Team Rooter was the most affordable. I was quoted $495 if the issue was resolved and $250 if it was not, using a hydro-jetting method that was described as gentle. The crew arrived on time and was professional throughout. They first cleared the left line, which has historically been the problem, and said they found no obstruction. That was reassuring, though confusing given the recurring backups. When they moved to the right line, their equipment became stuck underground and I was told it would require digging to retrieve it, at an additional cost of about $895. I pushed back, since I hadn't been told beforehand that equipment getting stuck would be my responsibility. After some effort, they were able to pull it out without excavation. Later, after I thought the job was finished, they reinserted the equipment into the left line and again said it was stuck--this time near the driveway--and quoted a much larger repair involving cutting concrete, estimated at around $2,500. Once more, after I declined and asked to speak with the office, the equipment was pulled free. Everyone I interacted with was polite and professional, but the experience was frustrating and left me uneasy. I was never warned that I could be financially responsible if their equipment got stuck, and the repeated escalation to expensive repairs raised concerns for me. I'm not saying others shouldn't use them, but I would strongly recommend being very cautious if you're told the equipment is "stuck" and asked to pay additional money. read more

I think we may have been overcharged/ripoff. $325 to replace a shower cartridge feels excessive especially considering the job wasn't done properly. The shower handle is now facing upward, and turning it either left or right still gives us both hot water. For $325, I expected the shower to function correctly. Instead, because a small metal piece was cut, I now have to leave the handle facing straight up just to shut off the water completely. That doesn't seem right. He was also planning to charge $475 for cutting off a small piece of metal until I told him he didn't cut anything big and that when he lowered it to $325. On top of that, he didn't even turn the main water valve from the street all the way on. We had low water pressure until I realized he had only opened the partial way. read more

The sales guy, I mean plumber was very friendly. They were happy to come out on a $unday. After partially snaking the system, recommend hydro jetting which I fell for. After a bit of haggling over the price I was able to bring the price down from 1800 to 1200, shoulda woulda coulda brought it down more, however it did not produce any results positive or negative. Before the sales guy, uh plumber left he was able to complete his inspection report and the proposal to replace the entire system, which has already been completed 80% . System is still jacked up and the only solution is to replace the entire thing. Again the technician was friendly, but I could have spent my money more wisely and produced better results. Do your homework and don't fall for the $unday surprise. Unless your house is literally drowning in waste, wait for a day other than a $unday. read more

I recently had an emergency plumbing situation and called Team Rooter for assistance. While they responded quickly to the emergency, my experience with their pricing was extremely disappointing. The initial estimate for the work was around $500, which I understood for an emergency call. However, as the job progressed, additional "necessary" work was continually added, increasing the cost in increments of $500. What started as a $500 emergency repair quickly escalated to a final bill of $1500. I found the pricing to be very, very expensive, especially given the continuous additions to the scope of work without clear, upfront communication about the potential for such significant increases. While the immediate issue was resolved, the unexpected and substantial cost escalation left me feeling overcharged and frustrated. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the amazing work that Henrique and Steven did for my wife and me. We initially reached out to them to see if they could unclog a sink that many other plumbers we contacted refused to try and fix. Henrique not only tried but he went above and beyond to do everything in his power to try and get it sorted. When that didn't work, we contacted Team Rooter again to have them try investigating and solve further with more tools than their standard unclogging services. We were lucky not only get Henrique back but also Steven. The two of them refused to quit on us and worked with us to find a solution that worked with our budget on a project that last a few days. Not only were they friendly and understanding of our situation but they also were completely honest about everything throughout this process. In the end, they found the root of the problem and were able to solve our clogging issue, which ended up being much farther from the source than we initially expected. Total and absolute rip-off. This company is the complete opposite of what a skilled and honest contractor should be. I first called them to reinstall a toilet after new flooring was installed in my house. They sent a single technician who clearly couldn't do the job alone, especially since the toilet was tricky to set in such a small space. They first quoted $800 just to replace the wax ring, lift the toilet, set it back in place, and screw it down. They told me I could decline the work, but I'd still be charged an estimate fee. After negotiating, I got the price down to around $400, which was still an outrageous amount. Because the technician was alone, I had to help him position the toilet, and we struggled to line it up properly on the bolts. The toilet was moved left, right, forward, and back repeatedly until the wax ring was completely ruined. He installed a new ring and we struggled again, but eventually got it "good enough." Fast forward a few months later: the toilet started leaking around the wax ring. I called Team Rooter again, assuming they would fix their earlier mistake. This time two people showed up (since I specifically requested two, knowing one wasn't enough last time). The lead technician immediately started pointing out supposed "issues": the flange was too high, the pipe was too close to the wall, etc. But of course, everything could be fixed for the small price of $2,400. When I told him that was way too much, he went to his truck for five minutes and came back with a "discounted" price of $1,500 on his iPad. He tried to negotiate more, but at that point I had completely lost trust. I refused the service. At least they didn't try to charge another consultation fee. A week later, I called a local plumbing company for another opinion. These guys were total pros, organized, skilled, and most importantly, honest. "Honest" is the last word I would use to describe Team Rooter. The other company charged $285, did the job perfectly, and didn't try to upsell me on nonsense. I won't name them here to keep the review fair, but Team Rooter honestly would deserve the comparison. In conclusion, I highly recommend you never call this company. Stay far, far away from their "service." It's not just a little dishonest--it's on a whole different level. read more

Came out to clear kitchen sink drain at 5pm on Thursday. Drain was clogged again at 8am next day, came back out and cleared it no charge

Had called about our kitchen sink being clogged and garbage disposal giving us issues. Angel came out and assessed the issue and identified that there was a lot of food in the line as well as a spoon stuck in the garbage disposal. Angel recommended to vacuum out the stagnant water and possible food that could have been clogging up the drain. Angel was very thorough and explained everything very well. After vacuuming the drain it seemed to have dislodged and clear the drain. He did recommend a new garbage disposal since the miniature spoon that was jammed in it caused damage to the unit. My wife and I hired Team Rooter to replace our old cast iron drains with new PVC as part of our room addition project. We selected Team rooter because of their professionalism, and fair pricing. We already had a contractor excavating part of our backyard as part of the addition project, so Team Rooter worked alongside of them to keep our project moving.
