    I think we may have been overcharged/ripoff. $325 to replace a shower cartridge feels excessive especially considering the job wasn't done properly. The shower handle is now facing upward, and turning it either left or right still gives us both hot water. For $325, I expected the shower to function correctly. Instead, because a small metal piece was cut, I now have to leave the handle facing straight up just to shut off the water completely. That doesn't seem right. He was also planning to charge $475 for cutting off a small piece of metal until I told him he didn't cut anything big and that when he lowered it to $325. On top of that, he didn't even turn the main water valve from the street all the way on. We had low water pressure until I realized he had only opened the partial way.

    Came out to clear kitchen sink drain at 5pm on Thursday. Drain was clogged again at 8am next day, came back out and cleared it no charge

After buying appliances at Home Depot, I was asked if I had water issues (which I do), and they offered to send someone to test my water for free and recommend solutions. Simple enough -- or so I thought. Instead, I got a series of texts from someone telling me that every adult in my home needed to be present during the appointment. They kept pushing about who would be there and even asked if my husband would be home. As a woman handling this appointment on my own, that immediately raised red flags. It honestly felt like I was being second-guessed because I'm a woman -- like my input wasn't valid without a male present. If I had been a man, I doubt my account notes would have been described as "very vague" just because I booked a free water test. The entire situation felt more like a high-pressure sales setup than a genuine consultation to help with water issues. Their reasoning? They didn't want to drive back later to explain equipment options to anyone else, due to gas costs. That's not my responsibility as a customer -- especially from a company tied to Home Depot. Overall, this felt unprofessional and honestly discriminatory. If you're considering water testing through Home Depot, be careful who they send. This didn't feel like a trustworthy or customer-focused experience. Also, this company is selling their machines for double what they're worth and it's pretty simple to hire a plumber to install them for you and buy one directly from a water softener and whole home water filtration manufacturer. Do a little research on how much these machines cost, I've found ones with excellent reviews for about $4/5k total. This company is selling theirs for $10k

I took off a star for the price (see below for details). Timeline: I found out about the problem Sunday night (11pm), Thomas came around 9am Mon, and he was done at 12pm. My positive experience: My water heater (2016 Rheem) stopped working, and they were able to come out first thing in the morning to take a look. Upon reviewing my existing water heater, they recommended replacing it, along with some infrastructure updates to make sure everything was up to code. Thomas explained everything that needed to be done in detail, and I had a great experience interacting with him. The price: I took off one star because they're a bit on the pricey side. I ended up paying a little more than I originally wanted to even with some discounts they were able to provide. My original water heater was also still under warranty for both tank and parts until 2028, but this information was never revealed to me. I found out after I approved the job (my fault for not looking into it). I would've been happier if a cheaper option to replace some broken parts was offered to me as well, so that I could've made a better informed decision on repair vs replacement. Overall, I'm happy with their work, but price sensitive customers may want to look at other options before making a decision.

Frank, the owner, is the kind of professional you wish every contractor was like -- punctual, straightforward, and genuinely focused on doing the job right instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work. His pricing is very fair, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. Every detail was handled carefully and neatly, and you can tell he takes pride in his craft. It's rare these days to find someone this dependable and honest -- I'll definitely be calling Frank again for any plumbing needs.

They came to our home and within 2 minutes was giving me a quote of $17.5k. Didn't look at the pipes or listen to me at all. I told them I didn't need the kitchen pipes redone, only the bathrooms, and he told me kitchen pipes are always they worst, so we'll do that, too. He said they'd tunnel 6 ft under the foundation of the property, putting someone completely under the house without looking at how it was built or the current state of it. When I asked him questions he was clearly annoyed with me. We've had lead pipes in places, but when I asked about it he said we have good water pressure so I don't need to worry about lead. That makes no sense. After that I stopped asking because I figured we would just be wasting time. I knew at that point I wasn't using this company. They never sent me an estimate or followed up at all. Every red flag in the book. I'd be very careful with this company.

Also added a new water heater and, my favorite addition will be the split installed in a back room add on with a cathedral ceiling that's difficult to heat/cool on its own. Each installation came with its own specialist, and each team was amazing. They took such good care in ensuring the carpets were covered, and their cleanup was fantastic - including one of the guys who walked the driveway and area in front for nails that may have been dropped!! Anyway, I'm happy to recommend these guys to anyone needing similar work. Oh and btw their financing program is good too with zero % interest making it good value for me.

He discovered that my air conditioner is not providing the standard amount of cooling. And he let me know that my heating and air conditioning systems were installed 20 years ago. He also checked out the duct work in the attic and discovered that there is asbestos. So I made appointments to have the asbestos removed and to get a quote for replacing the heating and air conditioning systems. He was both professional and personal. He gave me a clear explanation of my heating and air conditioning system. And he was so personable and pleasant. He even played with my cats! I'm so relieved to have the dryer vent cleaned out. This was the first time I had that done in the 35 years I've lived here. I feel that I am in safe and responsible hands with Conejo Services and Alex Limon.

I had…read moreseen that some very large rebates were available from So Cal Gas Company, so I made it very clear from day one that I wanted to get that rebate. They told me that I could receive a $1,300 rebate on the unit they would install. The installation was done in December of 2025, and they filled out the rebate paperwork and submitted it for us. A few weeks later, our application was rejected because Xpress One did not provide the original receipt where they purchased the water heater. I contacted the office in early January and was told by Johnny that he would get it for me. For the next 3 months I called the office every 2 or 3 days asking for this information. They always promised me that Johnny would get back to me by the end of the day, but it never happened. Finally, almost 3 months later, he sent me an "invoice copy" of the water heater purchase. It looked like something someone had typed up themselves, but I sent it to the Gas Company. They immediately rejected it. Since then I have been calling their office repeatedly but never getting a call back from anyone. So I am out $1,300.00 and they have offered me nothing for all this trouble. Please be aware that they are not honest people and do not hire them. They definitely DO NOT stand behind their service. Johnny ends every phone call with "Have a Blessed Day" which obviously means nothing to him. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!
