Super nice and responsive. Was there the morning after my evening call. Total tooth fairy! ( found a parent's um, tooth)

Robert is responsive, professional, and non-nonsense about the work to be done. He did a great job clearing some roots out of one of our lines and focused on getting it all the way clear, not trying g to sell us other services, like many of the corporate companies do. This is a great independently owned business that deserves to be supported. read more

-------------------------- 2024-12-11 REVIEW Robert Golden is amazing. He is very good at his job but he goes the extra mile, pays attention to details and takes the time to confirm that everything is working well. My wife and I had a clog in our main sewer line that caused a back-flow into our shower and bathtubs. We had a similar problem last year and Robert did a great job in fixing that problem. So we called him again. Since our current problem was an emergency, Robert rearranged his schedule and arrived at our place about 30 minutes later. As usual, he pre-cleaned and watered down the exterior walls and walkway in the work area to prevent stains from any splashes as he worked with his snake machine. After running the snake in the main sewer line for its full length of over 100 feet, it seemed to break through the clog. But shortly after, the water backed up again. So, Robert ran the snake again until all the water flowed through the drain line properly. At that point, most plumbers would call it a day and be on their way. But not Robert. To be extra thorough, he got out his shovel, dug into the dirt to get access to a second clean-out drain on the other side of the house, closer to the drain line's connection to the public sewer line at the street. He set up and ran his snake machine there, cleared out some roots and even ran the snake into the public sewer line. All done? Not Robert. To confirm that everything was flowing properly, he then re-set his heavy snake machine at the original clean-out drain and ran it again. We turned on all the faucets, shower and toilets in the house and let them run for a while to make sure that the drain line was flowing well and there was absolutely no back-flow. Now all done? No, not Robert. After cleaning the work area and spraying down everything, he had noticed my garden hose and faucet leaked very badly when in use, so he fixed that too, as a bonus! I can't believe the level of service Robert provides and how far above and beyond he goes! Thank you Robert for your great service! You're amazing! -------------------------- 2023-07-29 REVIEW My wife and I had a plumbing emergency during the weekend. We had a clog in our drain line that caused a backflow into the bathtub. We called around for a plumber but found that many plumbers were not immediately available on a Saturday, even companies that advertise emergency services. Luckily, we were able to get ahold of Robert of Golden Plumbing on the phone. Robert asked some questions to diagnose the problem. He asked me to take some pictures of the drain access pipe, which is at the side of our house. After I texted the pictures to him, he was able to determine that he could do the job at that access point. Since our situation was an emergency, he changed his work schedule to accomodate us. 30 minutes later, he was at our place to do the job. He brought his big snake machine and did a thorough job clearing the clog. During the process, Robert took the time to explain what he was doing. As he worked the snake, my wife and I helped by running the hot water faucets and showers and flushing the toilets to clear out the drain line. While removing the snake, he made sure that the work area was pre-sprayed and re-sprayed with water to keep everything clean. We were very happy for Robert's quick response and excellent work. The cost was $500, which we thought was fair and reasonable. He said it could have been $100 cheaper if it wasn't for the weekend rate. Our experience with Robert was very positive. He is experienced, knowledgeable, thorough and professional. I wholeheartedly recommend him for your plumbing needs. read more

Robert at Golden Plumbing is not only a great plumber, but a stand up individual who cares about the services he is providing. I wouldn't want anyone else servicing our plumbing needs. When I called about a clogged toilet, Robert had Covid and couldn't come out but rather than send an employee he recommended a trick that worked perfectly! This is the type of person I appreciate doing business with. Helping was more important than his profit! Recommend everyone use this man's services if you want a knowledgeable, professional and HONEST service person! A GEM! read more

Before the holiday Robert fixed our toilet that hadn't been flushing properly since even before the pandemic. The problem was very elusive, and several talented handymen had thrown up their hands at it. But Robert did some amazing troubleshooting and diagnosed the cause, which had to do with calcium build-up in certain parts of the toilet. His persistence and experience paid off. He then treated the problem and it's like a brand-new toilet. Despite his time and hard work, his charges were very modest. Robert will be our plumber for life, if he'll have us! read more

You couldn't ask for a better plumber than Rob Golden. Incredibly fair prices as well as honest and on time and the best for the job.

The best Plummer you can get. He is meticulous and really cares about doing the best work. Very positively surprised. Had to change my dishwasher. Thought I could do it by myself. He spent about ten minutes in the phone with me trying to help me. After that time I knew I couldn't do it myself. I asked him to come and he fixed the water inlet, and installed the unit. Very happy with the work done. read more

It has been a long time coming for me to write this as I should have wrote this a while back. THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO and THE COMPANY TO USE!!! We had a gas leak a while back and Robert came and saved the day. He was respectful, honest and the best price out there! We talked over the phone, I showed him pictures via text so he knew exactly what to do when he got here. Then just the other day I needed him to come out and put some fittings on my BBQ and he told me what I could do to save some money. Who does that...ROBERT DOES!!! It was a simple fix that anyone could do and he wasn't out to make a buck - he is as HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY as they come. Thanks for all your help and support over the last few year Robert - you are our go-2 guy for all of our gas and plumbing needs!! read more

I have had them out twice and was way over charged both times. Charged $750 to install a new kitchen faucet. Did not require any new holes or anything complicated. Took about an hour. I paid for faucet before they came out so price was not including that. So at $750 an hour I would say I was in the wrong business! read more

For the fourth time in 5 months, our washing machine was spilling out of the drain pipe. I called Golden Plumbing hoping he would be able to service us better than the previous plumbers. Robert was extremely helpful, honest and completely up front with cost. He stayed after his service and tested the issue out for several minutes to make sure everything was in working order. I cannot recommend him enough. Bonus points for also being so kind and inclusive with my 3.5 year old who is a total boy and loves any and everything tools. read more

My water heater gave up on a Friday night, and the next morning after being told by a couple other plumbers that the next available appointment would be days away, or they'd get back to me, I'm so glad my next call was to Robert at Golden Plumbing. He was at my condo one hour after I initially called him, on a Saturday, and my new water heater was up and running a few hours later. The installation job looks completely professional and clean, and Robert went over everything I needed to know about it, and the water heater itself. It's been working great since then. The price I paid was on par with what a friend of mine paid, who had an easier to reach location, and with a scheduled appointment. To top this off, Robert is extremely polite and considerate, and gives off a very positive and honest impression. I would not hesitate to recommend Golden Plumbing, and especially Robert himself. read more

How much do I like Robert at Golden Plumbing? Well, I'll put it this way -- we are moving away from the area, and I'm actually sad I won't be able to use him anymore. Robert is responsive, ethical, thoughtful, professional, and a genuinely nice person. We have called him numerous times for a wide range of services, and every time he has done an absolutely excellent job. I could not recommend him more highly -- if it were possible to give him more than five stars I would do so happily. My guess is that Robert doesn't do much in the way of advertising, which is why he's not more widely known. If you're lucky enough to come across him, count yourself fortunate. You will never need another plumber! read more

I called Robert at 9am about some bad work that another Plumber (rhymes with "Button") had done the night before. I was quoted $2,000 and only later found out that the previous plumber may have intentionally or accidentally cut the main gas line from my dryer. Robert was upfront and honest and was able to show me where the other plumber screwed up. I only wish I had called Robert first. He is honest, he was on time and more importantly a very, nice guy! read more

Robert Golden is a damn nice guy, and an amazing plumber. I called two other plumbers before Robert, but they could not diagnose my water pressure problem. Robert came to my house the same day, started looking around and asking me questions. One valuable question was, " Have you had any construction done recently in your home?" Yes, I did. He went out to the street, and immediately noticed the main water valve had not been adjusted properly. Wow, I was impressed when he didn't want to charge me. So, I asked him to clean all the storm drains. He did the job efficiently, and economically. I recommend Golden Plumbing. Seriously, you will love Robert and the fact that you will never need to call a different plumber, EVER!! read more

Called Robert on a Sunday to see if he could install a new circulating pump for our hot water heater. He was here two days later, exactly at the time he said he would be. He was on time, efficient, honest, and overall a great guy. We look forward to taking a shower and not waiting five minutes for it to heat up, wasting a ton of water. Golden Plumbing will be our go to for any plumbing needs. We highly recommend them!! read more

I called late on a Friday and hours later I was being rescued by these guy's! Being a mechanic I knew these guy's were being very honest and where not trying to get anything by me when they gave me the estimate and the professionalism in the service was astounding. I will continue to use and recommend this company as so many others are looking for the quick buck and Golden Plumbing was clearly looking for a future customer. They earned my gratitude for helping me in a pinch and my respect by not taking advantage of a situation that could have easily cost much more (broken main line under the house). Thank you Golden Plumbing! read more
