Matt did an outstanding job with the sewer scope inspection at the new house we're planning to purchase. He arrived right on time, started by scoping the sewer from an existing cleanout, and clearly explained what he was seeing and what it meant--step by step--so we felt informed the entire time. What really impressed me was how thorough and persistent he was. He continued the inspection from the front of the house where the cleanout was extremely difficult to locate. When he couldn't find it easily, he went through the toilet, pinpointed the cleanout location, found that it was buried underground, uncovered it, opened it, and ran the camera through that line to make sure there were no root issues or hidden problems. He didn't stop there. He also opened a sealed cleanout and ran the camera through that side as well, just to confirm the other portion of the house didn't have roots or any concerns. That level of detail and effort gave me a lot of confidence in the condition of the sewer lines. I was more than pleased with Matt's work--professional, knowledgeable, and truly thorough. Matt is AMAZING!!!!! We recently bought an older home and 5 days before close of escrow the main sewer line was backed up. A month prior, a previous plumbing company jetted the main sewer line which caused settled debris to break away causing a blockage weeks later. This same company then quoted us $4200 to dig, cut and jet the line to push all the debris into the city line. We then called Matt. He came over same day and it was on his day off. He looked at what the previous company quoted work and description of the problem. Matt put his camera down the sewer line which he located the blockage. He ran the snake through the existing sewer clean-out to break up the blockage. This took some time and Matt really knew what he was doing. In the end, Matt was able to break away the blockage without digging and cutting the pipe. He simply took his time and used the existing sewer clean-out. This guy is amazing! He's got 20+ years of experience and you can definitely tell. Where a different company wanted to charge us $4200 for digging and cutting the line, Matt was able to use the snake and camera and charged us under $500!!!!! WOW. I know nothing about plumbing.
