Robert of Summers plumbing was fantastic. I had a leak at the meter that was my responsibility (not the city). After he heard about my situation, he referred me to a Leak Detection service provider as locating the source of the leak could have been an issue under my driveway. After the Leak Detection service gave me the good news that it could likely be fixed at the meter, Robert came later in the afternoon, looked at it, gave me a quote on the spot and fixed it within an hour+. As I had to leave for an appointment, he called when done, sent pictures via text, and explained the fix. The only surprise was that he me called the next day to check in to ensure all was still OK, and no further issue/leaks. Who does that? Robert of Summers Plumbing! My shower connection with pipe from the wall came apart on Friday morning. I overnighted a new handheld shower head from Amazon. I couldn't get the new shower assembly to fit on the pipe. The old connector had stripes of metal like wire inside it - the wall pipe was corroded and coming off in pieces. So after Quick Look at YouTube I realized replacing the wall pipe was too big of a job for me. So I checked Yelp. Based on 5 Star ratings I reached out to Summers Plumbing. I was surprised when Robert answered the phone. He said he'd be over in 20 minutes to take a look. He tried to put shower back together but unfortunately, the wall pipe was too corroded and stripped. So Robert said he could come back today in morning. Pipe did not give up without a fight - but fortunately, Robert won the battle and removed it without having to pop a hole in my bedroom wall. So now I have a lovely brushed nickel shower head. He didn't have time today to replace my shower handle, trim and clicker. But agreed to come back in 2 weeks. Since we had a couple of running water issues here at our house, I had made an appointment with another plumbing company earlier in the day and asked several questions. By the time I got off the phone she scheduled an appointment for next week, but I didn't feel good about the conversation, so I kept thinking I was going to look around for another plumbing company. Finally, a traditional plumber that doesn't try to sell you stuff! My regulator went out and my water pressure shot up over 100psi. The water in my shower was coming out with so much force the bathroom was like a windy rain tunnel. So, I go to Yelp and decide to see if Summers Plumbing could help. After I reached out through Yelp, he replied back within a few minutes and leaves his cell number. I call Robert up, and tell him what's going on, and he said he could be there the next morning. Keep in mind this is Saturday at like 3pm! What? I don't have to take a day off work meet the plumber? Lo and behold, he shows up Sunday morning, puts on a new regulator, and before lunch time my water is back on and the pressure is perfect.
