After installing our toilet we noticed there was a little water that appeared to be leaking. We called Gallegos Plumbing, back late at night, and they had an assistant who answered our phone and took our request for service for the follow-up. They promised they would be out within a couple of days, but first thing the next morning we got a phone call advising that they would be out within a few minutes. A few minutes later there was a knock on the door and it was Joshua again. With his usual happy demeanor and a big smile on his face he assessed the issue and completed the repair properly. He stated that with the type of flooring that we had the adjustment was very important, and made the minor adjustment that it took to seal the toilet perfectly. Gallegos is so great! They gave us options for our broken gas line, and multiple quotes for fixing the immediate problem and/or fixing the larger issue. We had called Mr. Rooter prior who only quoted us for the immediate problem and I'm sure would have charged us an arm and leg for fixing the whole thing - Gallegos' price was very fair. Fernando communicated well, was timely, and he and his team left everything cleaned up and ready to go. Gallegos Plumbing is a greedy, unscrupulous predatory plumbing company that should be excised from the Ventura business community and its employees incarcerated in prison for criminal fraud. If you are elderly, female, live in the Pierpont area or are otherwise a trusting individual BEWARE because Gallegos will prey on you like a pack of wild hyneas ripping, shredding and tearing apart you house until it will be unrecognizable and unlivable. UNDISPUTED FACTS: On December 11, 2025 my wife contacted Gallegos for assessment and proper repair of a clogged toilet in our two bedroom, ONE BATHROOM house on Cornwall Lane. A Gallegos employee names Javier subsequently appeared at our residence and "apparently" tried to clear the clog by allegedly running a snake. After much falderal and unnecessary gesticulations by Javier, he declared that the closet bend was collapsed and that jackhammering the foundation immediately under the toilet, removing and replacing the so-called closet bend would properly fix the clogged toilet issue. The exact, verbatim language used by Javier taken directly from Gallegos invoice # 56459: "After attempting to clear we noticed that the line was nearly collapsed or extremely congested with paper due to severe scale build up. A closet bend repair was recommended to restore flow to the toilet. Everything else in the bathroom was working properly." Solely based on Gallegos' employee's expert plumbing assessment and recommendation, we agreed to the suggested closet bend repair. On Saturday, December 13, 2025, a different Gallegos employee named Christian appeared at our residence, jackhammered a rectangular shaped hole in our foundation precisely where our toilet used to reside and cut out this alleged "offending" closet bend. Lo and behold, not surprisingly, there was nothing wrong with the closet bend that had been just removed by Christian! It became immediately apparent that we were now the victims of an intentional, well-crafted and executed scheme to defraud by Gallegos that included multiple employees of Gallegos over several days, using specialty, obscure plumbing terms, etc., all with the specific design to render our house unlivable. On Monday, December 15, 2025, my wife personally appeared at Gallegos' Palma Drive locations specifically to: (1) cancel our contractual relationship with Gallegos based on "fraud in the inducement" and, most importantly: (2) to physically retrieve the closet bend section of plumbing removed from our residence to preserve for possible (inevitable) future litigation. At the time of her visit, Gallegos owner, Jarrod Gallegos, acknowledged that there was nothing wrong with the closet bend and the Gallegos "would make things right". To date, neither Jarrod Gallegos, nor anyone else from Gallegos Plumbing has ever done anything to "make it right". At no time has anyone from Gallegos Plumbing ever offered to restore our ONE BATHROOM to a "pre-Gallegos" condition by simply replacing the closet bend that was unnecessarily removed, repairing our foundation and re-installing our toilet. On January 12, 2026, a creepy employee from Gallegos Plumbing named Austin did offer to fixed our plumbing provided that we pay them thousands of dollars to correct the mistake that they made! Yes, you read that correctly: Gallegos wanted us to pay thousands of dollars to fix their own admitted mistake. As an important side note: if you ever have the unfortunate displeasure of coming into contact with Austin from Gallegos Plumbing make sure to have another person present as Austin exudes creepy, violent sexual predator vibe. To date, Gallegos is still attempting to collect money for work never performed. Moreover, despite numerous written correspondences sent directly to each of the owners of Gallegos Plumbing, Jarrod Gallegos, Mark Gallegos and Julie Gallegos, no one from Gallegos has reached out to resolve this ongoing dispute. Their admittedly negligent conduct and abject failure to make any attempt at a reasonable resolution has prompted a Complaint to be filed against Gallegos Plumbing with the California State Contractor's Licensing Board, Complaint Number SF 2025012289, for investigation and, hopefully, criminal prosecution. Finally, yes, our plumbing issue was resolved by another Ventura based plumbing company and that work was properly accomplished entirely from outside the residence (with the exception of having to re-do the completely unnecessary and destructive plumbing work done inside the house by Gallegos, as mentioned in detail infra). DO NOT BECOME ANOTHER GALLEGOS VICTIM! They are a greedy, predatory plumbing company and a blight on the Ventura business community. read more

5 Stars - Excellent Experience from Start to Finish We recently hired Gallegos Plumbing for a full repipe and water heater installation, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Jordan Gobbell, our initial technician, set the tone. He was patient, knowledgeable, and never pushy. He really listened to our needs, explained our options clearly, and gave us the time to make an informed decision -- which made us feel confident moving forward. Anthony handled the water heater installation and did an excellent job. He worked quickly and efficiently, and the finished work was spotless. The repipe crew -- Fernando, Diego, and Noe -- were just as impressive. They repiped our entire house in two days, using high-quality materials and keeping everything clean and organized throughout the process. Of course, no job goes perfectly. During the repipe, our shower handle broke and a small section of drywall cracked. Gallegos immediately offered to make it right -- they gave us a credit for the drywall and sent JR to fix the shower handle. JR not only fixed it but also went out of his way to resolve another issue we mentioned with our faucet hose we noticed after the repipe. Here's my advice: do your homework, get at least three quotes, and make sure one of them is from Gallegos. Gallegos Plumbing installed a Navien Tankless Water Heater in our home. The project required repositioning and repiping gas and hot- and cold-water lines, as well as drain repairs. The project involved moving from an interior second story to an exterior location. The technicians, Daniel and Martin, provided patient and knowledgeable explanations as work progressed. Diligently, they labored into the evening on two consecutive days, being extremely careful as they removed the old tank from the second-floor interior and navigating a staircase. Their attention to detail included replacing furniture, plants, and other items in their original positions, which was much appreciated upon completion of the project. First I checked Yelp to view positive & negative reviews. Reading all the positive comments I called Gallegos plumbing. They send you a confirmation text with the plumbers name. Javier showed up on time in a clean truck, then listened to my problem. I have several drains in yard due to the slope and runoff from the rain. Javier suggested using the camera to determine if the pipe was plugged or collapsed. Unfortunately it was a crushed pipe, but with the camera he was able to pinpoint the exact section that needed to be replaced. I have two drains so he checked both, then provided pictures of the damage. I was pleased he didn't just start using the snake or pressure jet. That would have collapsed my walkway and pavers. Sometimes you really should get your mind IN the sewer! The sewer is one of those things people tend to not think about, until there are big problems. When the wife and I bought our house, we had Gallegos do a sewer lateral inspection. They found some cracks and root intrusion in the old clay pipe under our yard. I appreciated the video that they made available that showed exactly what the camera saw. Gallegos offered me two options: hydro jetting and a complete sewer lateral replacement. The costs for both seemed reasonable, so I decided to go the replacement route for peace of mind. The day of, a crew of 2 came and dug two large holes and did a trenchless pipe burst to pull the new 4" SDR17 pipe through. They cleaned up fairly well and put the grass back as well as possible. Communication could've been a little better though. Since I was home at the time, I asked to be given a heads up when they would turn off the water. They didn't inform me and I'm not sure they ever turned it off at all, since the backyard sprinklers started coming on while they were pulling the pipe through. Hopefully all my bathroom use was before they cut the old pipe. So far, everything seems to be functioning correctly and our sewer line hasn't backed up, so I'm sure the crew did a good job. But it would've been nice to have some photos of the work they did, like other companies typically do at job completion, especially since the end result here is buried out of sight. I also neglected to find out the warranty terms upfront, but I called afterwards and was told that it was 1 year on parts and 10 years on labor and craftsmanship. Overall, they provided a good service at a fair price with an excellent warranty, so I'd give them 4.5 stars rounded up. With some minor improvements, this would've been a solid 5 star experience. read more

I'm visiting my sister in Ventura, and staying in an AirBnB that is a wonderfully kept older bungalow. The shower faucet fell off in my hand as I was getting ready for Thanksgiving dinner. My AirBnB host called Gallegos Plumbing, and they sent Jose out early the next morning. Jose had fantastic customer service and quickly diagnosed and repaired the problem. I heard the price quote which was very reasonable, and he even noticed the shower valve stem leaking. He tightened it up, and took a photo of the 50+ year old valve to get a quote and a source for replacement if the owner ever needs it. Gallegos came through again! The valve on my LifeSource water conditioner broke and was spewing water everywhere! LifeSource never responded. So I called Gallegos and they responded immediately and sent Paco out this morning. Paco was informative and thorough temporarily bypassing the system. Because of their quick response I decided to replace the water conditioner with Gallegos as opposed to LifeSource. I expected to wait until the following day to replace the unit, but to my great surprise, Paco was back here within an hour to replace the unit and replace old pvc with copper piping. Gallegos always responds and dispatches quickly! I will always call Gallegos for all my plumbing needs. To top it off, the water conditioner unit was almost $2000 less than LifeSource and looks identical to it but doesn't require filter replacements every 3-6 months-it's maintenance free!
