I have a beautiful hard wood armoire that I do not want to lose. The drawers were off track and not closing. A small job, but so important to me. I loved how Robert and Ana's response to my Yelp request read and their scheduling calendar was easy to use. They kept me updated about my appointment, right up to the day of the work when they notified me that Robert could come early. That worked fine for me. Robert was at my house as agreed and he looked at my problem, told me what he suggested doing and how much it would cost. It was very reasonable and I agreed on the spot. After getting needed supplies he had it fixed in no time and I have my lovely piece of furniture in working order again! Robert is a terrific person, friendly and professional. He is local and has other clients in my condo project. A real find! I will definitely be calling Handyman Today when I need work done professionally and reasonably. I feel like I was taken advantage of. I paid $195 to have a fixture attached to an outlet. Five minutes of work. I told Robert what I needed, he gave me a quote. Robert was less than honest with me. It's a shame because I need a lot of work done at my house, but I won't be hiring Handyman Today because I can't trust them. Lesson learned. read more

I can't say enough good things about Robert and his wife Ana! Let's talk about a power couple! From start to finish they were amazing! Ana handles the scheduling and is responds extremely promptly, and Robert is Mr. fix it! He truly transformed our bathroom and kitchen, turning our house into a home. From installing a new sink to making my dream of having an ice machine a reality with a waterline for the fridge, his skills are top-notch. He knocked out cabinets, replaced our bathroom vanity, and even installed a new gate and pre-hung door--all with exceptional craftsmanship. One time, I called him on the same day because my husband had trouble hanging a cabinet, and I was worried about its stability. Robert came over that very day to ensure it was securely installed. His response time was impressive! Robert is always timely, offers fair prices, and sticks to his quotes--no unexpected increases. He gets the work done when he says he will, which is such a relief. And as if that wasn't enough he is also super tidy and clean! We were thoroughly surprised after day one of demo when we came to check out home and it was spotless! If you're looking for someone who can handle various home projects with professionalism and skill, look no further than Robert! We highly recommend him to everyone! He will forever be our go to handyman for any project in our home! He is definitely our diamond in the rough! Thank you Robert and Ana for helping us make our house a home! read more

Robert, and his crew were hired to do some significant drywall repair in our home, and then to paint the walls and ceiling affected by the dry wall repair. The dry wall took 4 days to complete and painting then took about a day and a half. I cannot speak highly enough about the quality of work. Very professional, the workers took great care to protect my home from dust, and further damage. Everything went perfectly. Communication with Robert as to the work was excellent. Ana, was wonderful to work with as well. Robert will be my go to handyman for further work on my home. I highly recommend. I believe the cost to be reasonable for the large scope of work required. read more

My experience with Robert at Handyman Today was great! He was responsive and came out to give me quote for a new sink install within 24 hours. I was able to make the appointment online and he showed up right on time. His quote was reasonable compared to others I had received, and he was able to get the job done right then and there, so I went with it. He was very knowledgeable and helpful- he also stopped to have us check in on his progress every so often which was appreciated. We will definitely be using him again with future house projects! read more

We were looking for a handyman to tackle several projects around the home. We came across Robert in Yelp and saw he had a great number of positive reviews and reached out via his website. Robert called us back in no time and we discussed our projects. Robert came over the same day and we found him courteous and knowledgeable. We had some minor cabinet hinge repairs as well as some woodworking and painting. Our main job was the repair of our shared mailbox. It sorely needed a face lift and Robert did not disappoint. (See Photos). We highly recommend Robert as he was efficient and reasonably priced. We will be using his services going forward. read more

Excellent service and expert installation of four ceiling fans and change of a light switch. Robert is very punctual and works diligently.

Waste of my time. When I called to schedule an appointment for an electrician I was very specific in what was needed. The woman on the phone was extremely nice and stated her understanding and said it could be done. I waited 5 days for the appointment and when the electrician arrived he said he could not perform the task and that I should have been told from the beginning they do not provide the service I was needing. My time was wasted and I am still left with a project that is not completed. Furthermore, the electrician was unable to give me a recommendation as to who could complete my task. read more

So I have flickering lights in my closet once in a while and wanted them fixed. He charges 65 for a home visit just to diagnose the problem. Then to fix the issue he said it would be 250 dollars. What he did was unscrew the bulbs then screwed in one bulb and switched the light switch to on and the light didn't come on, he went on to tell me it would be 250 to fix the issue. He said he would need to open up the socket and take a further look. Hearing that I decided not to move forward with fixing the issue as the technician didn't seem all that knowledgeable. Now I paid the technician however was hesitant to pay since all he did was unscrew the bulbs and flick the switch on and off, I was thinking he wouldn't charge me since the issue was so minuscule but he happily accepted the money. Once he left I screwed in the other bulb and it turns out that he didn't screw in the bulb all the way, that's why the light didn't come on when he was diagnosing the issue. Very deceptive person I believe based on my experience. read more

Called them today to help with a water heater electrical issue. Super fast response and Rob got here in a few hours. Explained the problem, gave me short term, long term solutions and managed the visit in 95+ degree weather. End result the water heater is back working and i took my first hot shower in 3 days. My girlfriend and co-workers thank them very much. Not saying i was getting ripe or anything but oh did that shower feel good. Thank you Handyman Today! cheers, elliott read more

I don't doubt that Robert is able to do the work I'm asking for. He did a thorough inspection of the property to make sure that what I'm asking for is safe for my house. His response time is also rapid. Unfortunately his bid was significantly higher than other handymen that I contacted. I have no doubt that he would do a good job, I just can't afford him. read more

I appreciate he was prompt, he was knowledgeable and he did the job and was very clean! I will be calling him again for service

Reliable and efficient! He redid the hinges on several kitchen cabinets, hung a huge "upper half" of an antique hutch, updated the outdoor one-plug electrical plug to a two-plug, and made it waterproof to ensure the sump pumps functioned during a recent downpour. He also suggested and installed a new bathroom light fixture, which is perfect. I could not be more pleased. I just moved back in after tenant rental for 20 years. There's plenty to do! I highly recommend Handyman Today. read more

Handyman Today is the real deal! I have hired many handy people in the past and not one has measured up to the standard that is Handyman Today. Robert is so easy to work with, punctual, very clean and most importantly professional! We have a very small kitchen with minimal cabinets to hold all of our kitchen needs, I had the idea of installing some type of spice shelf and maybe (if we're lucky enough to have the space) to utilize the under stairway area for storage. Not only did Robert listen and draft up ideas but he executed the whole project from start to finish. This project included cutting open the wall, framing the area, getting drywall installed, making custom drawers and shelves and installing it all together. He truly made my dreams come true and now our small kitchen feels so large with all of this much needed extra storage!! I will hire Robert back for all my home needs moving forward as he really is the best of the best! I highly recommend hiring Handyman Today for all of your handy needs. read more

I highly recommend this business and will be using them again! They did the job quickly and affordably.

Robert came over and installed a new sink faucet in my kitchen for $200. Other plumbers wanted to charge me $550....claiming the prices of things have gone up ( I already had the faucet lol). Robert was friendly and kind, and explained everything he was doing to me. He got me setup, and did the job right. I would 100% call Robert back for little repairs and things needed around the house. If you're needing repairs done, definitely give Robert a call. read more

The service was so good that I have taken all of the other handyman cards off of my refrigerator and thrown them away. Robert arrived on time, completed 2 jobs for me and was very pleasant to deal with. My only grumble is that the price that he quoted was a bit high. I agreed to it because so many times, you get what you pay for. He did a great job, so yes, I'm a happy camper. read more

Robert is awesome!!! First of all, it's super easy to schedule on the website. He shows up on time always. Definitely a man of his word. I had him come and put up various types of shelves and lots of frames. He made sure everything was leveled and aligned perfectly. His pricing is more than reasonable for the hard work he puts in. There is so much detailed measuring when he hangs frames/ diplomas and he takes the time to get it right the first time. Overall very happy to have found my new handyman! Thanks so much Robert! read more

Robert was very professional and courteous. He came by to give me a quote for hanging an 80 pound mirror and mount two TVs in living room and bedroom. Definitely would recommend to anyone needing a handy man. He was well prepared, showed up in the time window given, and fixed my closet. I appreciate that he's knowledgeable and I understand that he's got to charge a fair price for his labor, but it was a little more than I was looking to spend. However, the work speaks for itself and I would pay it again. Wish he'd sanded down a couple of minor specks, but to be fair it wasn't something I'd hired him to do, but it wasn't a big deal. Regardless, he was a great help and I'd call him again. read more
