Justin is an absolute rockstar!! He's professional, courteous and punctual. He replaced our toilet in record time, left no trace of a plumber performing any sort of work and was able to make the entire experience as easy as possible. 22 years ago, we moved to Camarillo. Not long after, we had plumbing problems. Somebody recommended Collins Plumbing. Lou Collins installed our new water heater and made sure the entire plumbing system operated efficiently. Oh, Collin's teenage kid Justin was the Plumber's Assistant. Lou has since passed, and the kid, Justin, is Collins Plumbing. The other day, our washing machine started flooding the area and we called .Justin. He diagnosed and resolved that problem, starting by clearing the stucco from an entry trap. His price was fair. Justin learned his trade from a pro, his Dad, which is what Justin is today--a professional! He has a straight-up style that puts the customer first. That is why we recommended him to others, from our next door neighbor to family members. We recommend him as that mythical plumber: he does what he promises; does it right the first time and charges a fair price. How unique is that ?! read more

Had a drainage issue in my kitchen sink for the last 3 years and wanted to make sure it was fixed before Thanksgiving this year. Called Collins and Justin came out a couple of days later (I was not in a hurry) and took a look. Talked to my husband and disappeared. Why the five stars? He talked to my husband who is very handy but could not figure it out and told him what to do to fix it! He just needed to replace something he had done under the sink with a bidder part. So no charge. But I would have liked to have tipped him! Thanks again Justin! I will definitely call you when we need a plumber. read more

Lou answered our call promptly, and arrived within an hour. I watched while he did a kitchen faucet repair. He was knowledgeable, accurate, and efficient. He charged a reasonable price, and gave a guarantee for his work. I believed him to be an honest man, which doesn't happen all that often. Ron B. Thousand Oaks read more

I've used a few duffer t plumbers over the years but these guys I trust . They're honest and professional. I used Dutton once and that was enough , they overcharged and tried to convince me to do other services . The other services were not needed . They said I would have other issues if I didn't . Well 2 years later I haven't had any . Collins did great for me and I've used 3 or 4 times since and never been disappointed . Stay away from Dutton . read more

We got a new electric oven, which would not fit in the space because our gas pipe took up too much space. We called Collins and Sons and they moved the gas pipe behind the wall. This job required a lot of planning. He and his son took their time and worked together as a team. Our oven fits perfectly and all our gas appliances were back up and running. read more

Fantastic! Efficient, helpful and very easy to work with. They were in the middle of a big project and were able to still fit us in even though I wasn't pushing for an immediate consultation. They knew exactly what they were doing and very reasonably priced. We had 3 separate issues, and they took care of them all. Very happy. I would recommend them to all our friends and family. read more

Lou and Justin were fantastic! On time, knowledgeable, quick and fair pricing. If there were six stars I'd give it to them.

Lou & Justin are amazing! They put in a new water heater for us and went above and beyond in plumbing the overflow to the outside of our house so that we will never have any issues. In addition they repaired one of our low-flow toilets and did so for such a reasonable price. They are honest, reliable, and have integrity. They gave us great service and we are customers for life. Just called Colliins and Sons late on a Tuesday night searching for someone to replace a water heater for a poor tenant who has had no hot water for days. Lou returned my call immediately then managed to make time to be able to go see my tenants asap tomorrow. Job not done yet but so far they meet and exceed the positive reviews they have received. Signed a very appreciated property manager! read more

I called and speak to Lou on Friday to fix my water heater. He told me that the water heater parts place would not be open till Monday and therefore to wait till Monday to get it repaired. He asked me to take pictures of the unit so he can order the parts on Monday. I took pictures and sent them to him on Saturday. I got no response. On Monday I called several times and left messages. No response. I had to call another repair place. We went without hot water the whole weekend because I trusted that they would help us out. Never again. read more

I can't say enough good things about this business! BEST price!! I called 4 plumbing businesses and received $200 quotes from each of them. I then called Collins and Sons and received a quote for $119!! VERY professional from their van to their uniforms to their mannerisms. They were in and out and left everything clean. Part of the job was installing a new sink soap dispenser and they even filled the new dispenser with soap!! Above and beyond in all aspects! I HIGHLY recommend this company! I called Collins and Sons Plumbing when I had two water leaks. They arrived on time and had both leaks fixed in record time, they were very professional, reasonably priced and extremely nice. I've been burned by other plumbers but Collins and Sons have proven to be honest and they care about their work which is many times hard to find. Collins and Sons is my plumber for life! read more

Competent and fairly priced. You rarely get both, and sometimes you get neither. The first time I had them do work at my house they correctly diagnosed and fixed multiple faucet stoppages as caused by resin pellets from my failed water softener, which had mystified the guy my regular plumber sent to my house, who proceeded to randomly fix things that were not broken until I caught on and asked him to leave. Since then, Lou and son have been out a couple of times for minor things and have done affordable, good work. I will not call anyone else for plumbing work. read more

Took a gamble on the three 5-star ratings they had here and made my first call to Collins Plumbing. Lou Collins arrived promptly, did a great job replacing my kitchen faucet at a reasonable price. He's a great, hard-working, no-attitude guy who's very pleasant and friendly. He's now my go-to guy for all things plumbing. Highly recommended! read more

Best plumbers on the planet!!!!!!! I had a pipe in my kitchen break & called this company to come out & look @ the problem. They were able to come out the following day & did give me a cost for diagnoses. I think it was $85 & well worth every penny of that! Lou & his son Justin are the best! It was a bummer I had a pipe break, but the good thing is that I now have an awesome plumber for all my future plumbing needs. They take such pride in what they do and go the extra mile (even did stucco repair around the pipe on the exterior wall of my kitchen). I have used other plumbers in the past & am so happy I never have to look for another plumber again. They did some other plumbing jobs at my house (installed a new rain fall shower head & fixed a toilet that was uneven & rocked, re-routed a water line for my ice maker, had to go through the attic for that). Lou recommended a construction company (ASR) to access damage from my leak. They are actually in process of remodeling my kitchen now due to the damage the leak caused. Thank goodness my insurance company covered all the damage. Lou said I would probably get a new kitchen out of this & he was right! This company is highly recommended! I will never use any other company for my plumbing needs! Thanks Lou & Justin for doing such a fantastic job on all my plumbing! You guys ROCK!!!! read more

They are honest and professional! We have had Collins Plumbing do a few different jobs at our house. Each time they came, they were on time, efficient, and clean. We were not sold something we didn't need and they even called back the next day to make sure everything was working. I also appreciate that over the phone, he tried to see if I could fix it instead of charging for a service call. They are really honest people and they are our go-to plumbers anytime we need their help. I highly recommend their services if you are in the Ventura County area and need a plumber. read more
