Unfortunately the contractor decided to place the gas line and valve to the pit within the masonry work, leaving no way to access the line should the need arise. Flash forward to about a week and a half ago, and the valve in my backyard fire pit became stripped and was no longer opening or closing with they key. I am a DIY guy 95% of the time, but I am not about to go messing around with a gas line, so I called a local fire place shop to ask about repairs. They told me the job required a plumber and recommended Lloyd's Plumbing service. I called Lloyd's, left a message and... never heard back. After a couple days I searched on my own and found Gallegos Plumbing. I called them and asked about an estimate. The gentleman told me there was no charge to have someone come out I had an appointment scheduled for the next day. The communication throughout the entire process was spectacular. Within a couple minutes of hanging up the phone, I had already received an email and text confirming my pending appointment, and even had a reminder email and text the next day. Bill Jeffries was the gentleman who came to my house. He called me to let me know he was on his way and also asked me about the issue I was having with my fire pit so he could be as prepared as possible. He showed up on time and was very friendly. He took a look at my fire pit, spent time answering my questions, and walked me through three different solutions that could work. He was honest and transparent about the estimated costs for each potential solution, which I appreciated. But seeing the concerned look on my face, knowing that I was looking at a higher cost than expected due to how my fire pit was built, Bill offered a fourth solution that I could try myself, and walked me through how he would do it. In my experience, this just doesn't happen these days. Bill was genuinely interested in helping me figure out my problem and not just looking to make some money. After 30 minutes of his time, he gave me his card, shook my hand, told me to call if I needed anything, and bid me a good afternoon. I was left with no charge for the time or the visit, and a potential solution to my problem that I can try myself for the cost of a few tools and an afternoon. Gallegos Plumbing came through huge, and I feel that their service and expertise is second to none. Bill was extremely professional, friendly, and listened to me. I will most certainly be calling Gallegos Plumbing in the future for all my my plumbing needs, as mine was a great first experience. I am glad I found them, and I would recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service in their home. It's hard to find good, honest, hard-working businesses these days who put their customers first, but Gallegos Plumbing is one of those few. Highly recommended, and I can't say thank you enough.

My wife searched for a plumbing company in Google and found Elite Rooter. Ketih Shannon came with his Elite Rooter truck to the house and when I got home he was in the front yard with a camera showing a broken pipe. He showed me the broken pipe and then insurance company was brought up. I told him that we had USAA insurance and he took out his cell phone and showed me all the plumbing projects where USAA insurance is involved. After this we came in to the house and he then he told us do not worry I will take care of all the insurance issues. In order to start the project we need to paid up front before we start the work. He told us that the work will be $18, 757.00. We thought this was the total cost of fixing the bathroom. He said plumbing companies will go out of business if they were not paid upfront, because insurance took too long and we can pay the loan off with the insurance money. He contacted Good Leap and spoke with Patrick Patel who set up the home improvement project loan. While setting up the Good Leap loan Dry Out medics reps Fernando and his supervisor suddenly were at my table. They assisted us also in setting up the loan. Elite plumbing came out and replaced the sewer pipe under the house. Hooked it from the bathroom to the washroom while leaving large damage that needed to be repaired. After the plumbing was done by Elite Rooter. Air Technologies came in and found asbestos in the bathroom. They charged the insurance company around $1500.00 per test. Dry Out Medics (JJ& S another name) came in and performed demolition on the bathroom. Stripped the bathroom to the studs and concrete floor. In the process they shattered a $1000 Kohler shower door and cracked the vanity and broke the back splash which cost over $1000. When they did the asbestos test we had to sign a waiver in the initial test for them to perform the asbestos test, but later after signing the first waiver document to test I noticed at the bottom of the form it said if they break any fixtures of items on accident or negligence they are not responsible. All Air Technologies do is run a wand to test. Dry out Medics (JJ &s) did report the broken shower door glass which they claimed just shattered, but they had to really force it out of the sliding guides it was attached to break it called negligence. Jerking the vanity off the wall without properly undoing the sealer on the sides was negligent. THEY BOTH ARE IN CAHOOTS BECAUSE WHY SIGNING THE AIR TECHNOLOGIES FORM TO PERFORM AN ASBESTOS INSPECTION ALSO COVER DRY OUT MEDICS (JJ&S) DAMAGES. Dry Out Medics (JJ&S) are refusing to pay me for the damaged fixture which is over $2000. They billed USAA Insurance around $6,500 for the demolition of the bathroom and are pressuring them with a short payment deadline. Goodleap is calling me my wife repeatedly about repayment for the $18,757.00 which the credit terms is 0 percent for 15 months. Why are they harassing her for the money. She can not sleep at night at time due the harassment. They are all players in a network of the same fraud. Presently I am holding off the Air Technology final asbestos testing to stop them USAA from paying Dry Out Medics (JJ&S) the $6500. And the $1500 USAA will have to pay Air Technology. They are all out to bleed the insurance company and defrauded me in the process for the $18,757.00. I have documents to prove all the facts that I stated in the fraud memo. Here is a recap of this week for a taste of what you're in for if you do business with this joke of a place: After yet another month of no calls or updates: Wednesday: I call, she says she will call back. No call back Thursday: I call - she transfers me to an extension no one is at and the call ends. I call back multiple times, doesn't pick up, then I leave a voicemail asking to be called back. Friday: Still no call back from yesterday and it's later in the afternoon. I call again, the secretary now says I need to contact my property manger (who has told me to call them for any updates). Despite her giving me the runaround and updates for the past year with no issues talking directly to me.. She says she doesn't know anything more and it's the plumbers responsibility not her. Then she contradicts herself and says it's an order waiting and she knows for a fact that it has been ordered. I ask - well when was it ordered? She doesn't know... and she eventually hung up on me when I told her she should know and I'm tired of this. You need help and you need it fast. You're thinking, damn, this is going to cost a fortune. And you have no idea who to call! Well, I'll tell you who: the team at Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter! Over the years I've owned my house I've used several different plumbers. Some good, some bad. More bad ones than good ones, truth be told. Some so bad I had to hire a second plumber to fix the first plumber's shoddy work. Some were total ripoffs. It's a damn jungle out there! A couple years ago I had a leak in a pipe under the concrete slab my house is built on. It required drilling through floor of my kitchen, and through the concrete to repair. A bit of a sticky wicket. After the first company that I called proved unable to address the situation I called Ocean View. These guys were the proverbial Pros from Dover; they were definitely up to the challenge. It wasn't an easy job. But they got 'er done. I was very happy with their work. Since that big job, I've had to call them out a couple more times. The most recent was this week. I called them out because in one bathroom the drain in the shower was slow, and in the other bathroom the toilet was always running and I was tired of jiggling the damn handle. They sent Fredi and his helper to address the problems. I was happy to see Fredi because he had been here before and I know that guy is good! Just like always, the problems were quickly fixed. And at a reasonable price! Not cheap, mind you, but reasonable. Quite fair, I'd say. I wholeheartedly recommend Ocean View Plumbing and Rooter. If you have plumbing issues these are definitely the guys to call. Unlike a lot of other companies, these guys show up when they say they will show up. After the inspection, I did a quick search and found that almost every other reputable company in the area offers this exact same service for **$250-$350**. I felt backed into a corner and paid because I was in the middle of a high-stress inspection window and didn't want to cause a scene or a delay, but this pricing is predatory.
