We'd out of the country for a month and when we returned we didn't seem to have any cold water pressure upstairs: two toilets, two showers, three sinks. Just before calling I turned on the kitchen sink downstairs an notice a bit of rust color and some "beads". This was Thanksgiving ever so I figured we'd get help the following week. I called. Very pleasant young lady took my info and said they would bet back to me. I then to a text asking if Armando could come by in half an hour .... I texted 'yes'. Armando showed up, and knew what the problem was ... software filter beads from a system we don't use but hadn't had serviced ... it was not bypassed and the beads had gotten loose and were jammed up in most of the sinks and showers, just much worse upstairs. He went to every sink and toilet and flushed them. Then he decided to check the water heater, which was loaded with the beads, so he flushed that out, too. He was a wonder ... out pressure is back completely and we know what to check for and that we should replace some of our shower heads and sink hardware. He didn't charge us a night service fee or holiday fee. My girlfriend chatted him up the whole time and he didn't charge me for that either! :-) We are very happy with Salinas. No drama. No unexpected fees. Very reasonable price. I'm sorry Ram J. overstepped and got off on the wrong foot, but I suspect he is not completely innocent. read more

Very honest men! I would recommend to anyone in need of a good/honest plumber. My restroom had a bad odor and I couldn't figure out why? I called different plumbers and they all gave me really high estimates which I was willing to pay if needed. I called this company they came out and took a look at my tubing, crawlspace, etc.... After further investigation, the gentleman told me the odor was coming from my sink because of all the gunk from old toothpaste, bacteria, etc... He told me what to use to clean it myself and didn't charge me a penny. I bought the liquid he recommended and sure enough, odor was gone!! He could've ripped me off if he wanted. Christmas night sewer backed up and flooded parts of house. What a mess!! After trying to remove clog with my high pressure drain cleaning hose and rooter snake to no avail, called multiple local drain cleaning services. The first company,with good yelp review, showed up the following day but was unsuccessful. Good company but their equipment fell short of opening the sewer line with 70 ft of cable. Following day I contacted several other local companies. 2 of the companies arrived later that afternoon. The first company said they would clean drain and scan for $1,375 and I told them I was going to get a second quote and they began lowering the price. Told them I needed another quote and would wait as family could survive anothe day without, Alfonso w/Salinas & Sons arrived later that evening and was extremely knowledgable about the neighborhood and potential issues. I informed him of previous pricing and he said not to worry and he'd take care of us. Evening was upon us and he proceeded to break up the roots 60-70' under a parkway magnolia tree causing the problems. After 2 hrs, he had marked out sewer lines and depths, cleared blockages, and provided a video scan of the lines. Total charge was less than half of the previous company's quote. After spending 40+ yrs in construction management and experience, I was extremely satisfied with Salinas & Sons services. Will not hesitate to use them again whenever I need sewer services. Thank you Alfonso! On a final note, please be wary of any company doing service work when they know you're feeling desperate. Stay calm and get 2nd or 3rd opinions and quotes. Don't get these guys confused with other company in town. My parents and I have used these guys for years, and never been unhappy. Every one of the guys that has come out has been friendly and helpful.
