First, why are there 4 different names to this company? Sewer rescue, pro quality plumbing, noble plumbing, and JC plumbing? I got a quote from Sewer Rescue. They came to our home and within 2 minutes was giving me a quote of $17.5k. Didn't look at the pipes or listen to me at all. I told them I didn't need the kitchen pipes redone, only the bathrooms, and he told me kitchen pipes are always they worst, so we'll do that, too. He said they'd tunnel 6 ft under the foundation of the property, putting someone completely under the house without looking at how it was built or the current state of it. When I asked him questions he was clearly annoyed with me. We've had lead pipes in places, but when I asked about it he said we have good water pressure so I don't need to worry about lead. That makes no sense. After that I stopped asking because I figured we would just be wasting time. I knew at that point I wasn't using this company. They never sent me an estimate or followed up at all. Every red flag in the book. I'd be very careful with this company. read more

I called Pro Quality and Frank came within an hour, inspected and provided a temporary fix. He showed me the issue with the camera that the drain needed replacing. Frank replied quickly to our inquiry. Came out the next day and figured out our plumbing problem. We have very old pipes that actually needed work. We decided on the descaling. He gave us our options and explained things very well. Also they take a video of inside your pipes so you can actually see the problem. And they video after, so you can see the before and after. Docking a point for high cost. Folks have a right to charge what they want and i have a right to share it. The folks at Pro were very responsive and nice and communicated what was going with the line well. We had kitchen sink backing up when doing laundry wash. Our drainage line needed to be hydro jetted and we also asked for a dishwasher air gap to be installed as a separate thing. Over all the service was good but I am pretty sure we were also charged at the very maximum rate due to the neighborhood we live in (which is pretty well maintained and above average homes but not rich ) Since moving to Simi I find that most business (electricians, plumbers etc are over charging like crazy compared to my last place renting in Encino with even wealthier homes around us. From now on, I will post exactly what i am being charged and I encourage everyone else to do the same! All businesses need to charge for services but they should be pricing more competitively and they should not default to the max cost just because your home is less than 50 years old and isn't falling to pieces . In Simi we should not be taken advantage of due to fewer service options in the area! Don't put up greedy pricing everyone and if you find yourself in a bind and need to follow through with a service make sure you post what you are being charged! read more

I requested service and they let me know that they would be charging 3x the normal amount due to the time of day (6PM on a Saturday). I assumed that I'd be looking around $600 as I knew what the issue was but wasn't confident in my ability to fix it as I had never done it before. Issue: shower cartridge needed to be replaced The woman who answered the phone was VERY helpful, and I know she does not set the prices so I gave 2 extra stars for her. She let me know the quote for a shower cartridge to be replaced if they did NOT need to break down any drywall was $1350 at their emergency rate. I went to Home Depot and paid $39.75 for the new cartridge and a new handle (might as well if I already have it disassembled). I understand charging a higher rate for an emergency, and due the time of day. But $1350??? For a $23 part??? In this economy?!? Bless whoever the delusional person is setting these prices. It took 2 hours from diagnosis, to picking up and eating wingstop, to going to Home Depot and getting the parts, driving home, feeding my dogs, watching a 15 min youtube video. About 3 minutes to do the actual work. When people are in a tough position, please do not take advantage of them. I thought i would be without running water for 72 hours if I didn't pay $1350. Companies with honest prices will build lifelong clientele. Unfortunately you've lost me and anyone I know. People, do your research. Save a buck. Or $1310. UPDATE: I think it's wild that rather than staying quiet or apologizing for having a different set of pricing than I expected the response was "we aren't working for free at midnight". No one asked you to. Also $450 for a cartridge replacement is absurd. Lowering my rating to one stars as I don't think that the response from the ownership was reasonable considering I wrote that I expected to pay around $600. No one is asking you to work for free. No one is even asking you to work for less than your worth. I think the lesson here is that when you (even at normal pricing) are charging 12-15x the price of the repair itself for profit, NOT at midnight, you should consider what cost analysis you're making up for. It's a dishonest business practice and I hope people understand that I'm not asking for free work, I am asking for reasonably priced work. Honestly priced work. Work priced not just because you can, but because it's the right price to simultaneously make a profit while providing a service. As I said, it took me 3 minutes to complete the actual repair. Truly a 5 star experience from start to finish! Was referred to Frank at Pro Quality Plumbing by a very reputable local plumbing company that was unable to take on a job of our size. We'd been needing to have our main sewer line replaced for many years due to tree roots. Frank came out the same day we contacted them and did a thorough inspection. His quote was very competitive compared to several others we had received. He was extremely attentive to our concerns and really went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and provide any requested documentation (photos, video, etc). His team started the work the following day with no significant issues. They used a trenchless system to replace our sewer line and suggested we reinforce additional areas with a liner. While the addition of the liner did increase the price of our quote, Frank continued to be extremely helpful and fair with his pricing. They finished the work 4 days later, had a city inspector come out for the inspection and then patched everything back up. Really the best experience we could have hoped for. I discovered that my Hot Water Heater had a serious leak and I immediately called a plumber from Yelp to first find the shut off valve, second give me a reasonable estimate, then fix my problem. Instead, this first company told me I had to pay $79 for them to give me an estimate and this fella did not know where the shut off valve was and he would have to get in touch with the plumber who would call me back. While my water was still flowing, I immediately phoned Pro Quality and spoke to a very calming Crystal who connected me with a very knowledgeable Frank, on the spot, and he immediately directed me to the shut off valve. I decided to hire Pro Quality and the work was superb. Crystal and Frank handled, requesting the inspection, along with replacing the Unit. I am very happy with my decision to Hire Pro Quality, instead. The guys did a fantastic job! had a leak in the wall that caused water to flow from tile in bathroom. They came in and diagnosed the problem and found the leak, due to age of the house the water pipes were located from the slab. With the possibility of future leaks we decided to re pipe the house. Alfredo was courtesy and explained the re piping job from start to finish , he and work crew completed the re piping in 2 days and another 2 days reconnecting, drywalling, texturing, and clean up. They don't nickel and dime you or try and get you to agree to work that isn't necessary or cost-effective. I have since called on Frank to assist with other household plumbing issues we experienced (sink (ultimately replaced faucet) and water heater). He also helped us, at no cost, to successfully fight with our home warranty about a subsequent back-up/stoppage issue that they were trying to not cover. And honestly, for how many times he came out to try and help, I was asking if I could please pay him!!! The amazing work Noble does and the exceptional service they provide is also why they can be too busy at times. I asked for an estimate of the installation, and was told it would be $450. I thought she made a mistake, and again explained that we already had the faucet as I thought she was including the price of it in the estimate.
