My wife in front of Mazda Dublin with our freshly bought CX50.
    Dennis L.

My wife and I decided to get a new Mazda CX50 to replace our 10 year old CX5. I was out and about with my dog and as I was driving by Team Mazda I decided to actually check out a CX50. I went in the showroom, leaving Bob, the dog in the truck. It was your normal Vallejo morning, overcast and cold, so Bob was ok. I was met, half heartedly by Angel, the salesman. He appeared less than thrilled that I was there. I assumed he was profiling me, old guy, dirty sweatshirt =Loser. Still he talked to me. I said I wanted to look at a CX50 and that I would have to talk to my wife before we actually would buy. We got into one. It was much nicer than our CX5. He didn't tell me one thing about the car. No info, no attempt to sell it. I asked for a test ride and he agreed but then I remembered Bob. I told Angel I was going to run Bob home. I live 5 minutes away. He gave me his card and told me to text him when I was coming back for the test ride and he'd have a car all ready to go. Ok? I drove home and texted him and was back ten minutes after I left. He hadn't pulled a car out. He got a car and we went for a ride. Again he told me nothing about the car without me asking a question. When we got back, I told him we'd probably want a metallic charcoal or blue with red interior. He showed me a black one with red interior. I told him, we'd be putting half down but it would take a week to get it out of our 401K. He asked how much we could put for a deposit. I said $5000. But I'd have to talk to my wife. He went ahead and write up a tentative contract based on $5,000. down. He had done that fake run and check with manager, a couple of times. He asked what it would take to buy that day. I again told him, I'd have to talk to my wife. He then offered to knock $2000. off if I bought that day, which completely turned me off, since Mazda doesn't offer $2000. discounts. We waited the week to get our down payment, out of our 401K and went to Dublin Mazda. They showed us all the features of the CX50. Took us for a ride and talked up the car and we bought a blue one with red interior. We do take our Mazdas to Team Mazda for service, as they have an excellent service department but I would never buy from them.

After shopping around for a couple of weeks, I came in to this dealer and was helped by Chris Brecher. He was very professional, transparent and patient with me. Upon meeting, I instantly felt comfortable, and relieved to not be approached by your typical sleazy car salesman. He helped me choose a car that best fit my needs. I never once felt pressured into making a decision, If you plan on buying a car at this dealer, I highly recommend you ask for his help! Great guy. Even my grandbaby loved the car!

We hadn't planned on buying a new car for a year since we just got married, but my car was totaled parked in front of our house so we had no choice. Sunday we walked into Mazda planning to test drive a few cars but fell in love with the Mazda CX-5. Our salesman Chris Beecher really helped us and went the extra mile to get us a plan in our budget and even followed up with us afterwards. He was compassionate and caring and not at all what you think of when you think "car salesman". Everyone in the dealership was kind and helpful, it really made the whole car buying experience less painful. I totally love my new car and would recommend Chris and Team Mazda to anyone.

I bought a new Mazda CX5 this week here. The experience was enjoyable and stress free. I worked with Tony, an experienced and very personable salesperson. He is a true professional, answering all my questions and following up on my requests. In the past buying a new car was such an ordeal. Not here though. It was easy! Good job Tony and Team Mazda Vallejo!

I've traded in a few cars in my life, and always without fail, you get one price over the phone, and then once they get you in-person they start with excuses why they can't honor it - but NOT here. They didn't try to talk their own offer down even after seeing damages on the car they didn't know about when they gave the initial offer. They made the process very smooth and pleasant, and when I turned down extra services at the point of purchase, they were super respectful about it, and didn't try to aggressively push it. I would definitely come back to them and recommend them to my own friends and family.

I replied to the text asking whether someone could pick me up or if I should call an Uber. He responded that the connection was bad and that he could not read my message properly. I eventually found my own ride back to Team Chevrolet Vallejo. When I arrived, there was one man behind the service desk. I told him I was there to pick up my car, and he simply handed me the key. The moment I started the car, I noticed that the tire-pressure warning light was on, and had not even left the dealership. I immediately told the employee about the tire-pressure warning light. He told me to drive the car over to the shop area. I asked him whether he wanted me to drive it over myself or whether someone from the dealership should do it. He told me it was okay for me to drive it over. What happened next was even more disappointing. I saw the employee speaking to a technician, and then the technician came over to me with an aggressive and unprofessional attitude and asked, "What can I do for you?" I told him to ask the service advisor because he already knew why I was there. The technician gave me an unprofessional look and then told me, "It's okay, just drive it. You'll be okay." I told him no. The vehicle came in without the tire-pressure warning light on, and I expected to receive it back in the same condition. He then said, "Okay, one minute, " and returned with a Temu small scanner. He plugged it into the OBD port without even turning the ignition on, with the key in my hand, and immediately told me there was nothing wrong with the tires because there was no code I said really, At that point, I felt like I needed to leave because I was being treated as though I did not understand anything about vehicles. What they did not know is that I have been a mechanic for more than 34 years, and I understand how these systems work, and the way this situation was handled was neither professional nor technically convincing. When the car was at the shop they sent me a video of the tech saying the rear brake pad hit the metal so he recommended replacing the pads and rotors right away, i was going to have him do the brakes job but the way they treated me I change my mind, on my way back home from the dealership the radio start acting strangely, at the time I was replacing the rear brake pads on the car, driver side wheels was completely loosed, at the time I dropped off the car I told them this is my son's car, I have it on video and the rear brakes was 40%. My concern is not only the tire-pressure warning light. It is the poor communication, the dismissive attitude, the lack of professionalism, and the way I was treated after bringing the vehicle in for a simple oil change. A customer should not bring in a vehicle without warning lights and receive it back with a warning light on, only to be told to "just drive it. So I contacted the store manager to explain what happened, and I was told someone would get back to me the next day, but that never happened. I also tried contacting the store manager more than four times, and my calls were ignored. I then went to the dealership and spoke with the service manager and explained the situation. He told me I was wrong and claimed the vehicle could be properly checked with a scanner without the ignition being on. He also said someone would call me because he was busy, even though there was no one else there at the time--it was just him and me. Despite that, I still have not received a response I am giving Team Chevrolet Vallejo 30 days to correct the problem they caused. If this is not resolved, I will file a complaint with the California Bureau of Automotive Repair and consider taking legal action. zeibmw@aol.com

I would like to replace the current vehicles with another manufacture, but Hyundai vehicle resale/trade in value is terrible due to the level of quality and what is perceived by many of us Hyundai owners, as a lack of REAL Customer care at the corporation level With that being said, we do still own 5 Hyundais and this IS The place to have your Hyundai or KIA serviced. I have used several other dealers in the bay area and this is by far the best of the best. From the moment you walk in the door, you are treated like they value you and your business. Jordon and the entire team are Friendly, professional and make the time to listen and hear your concerns and needs. They do a complete inspection of the vehicle and give you a report when you pick up the vehicle. This is NOT a hard sell to get you to purchase more services and parts, although I am sure they would appreciate the additional business, but rather letting you know how your vehicle is performing and how to trey and ensure it is running at optimum condition. A few things they also do that is what I consider above and beyond. You can get a shuttle back home or to your place of business if the wait is too long as well as they will send a vehicle to pick you up when its ready. And when you arrive, not only are getting your vehicle back with the services done right, but it is also WASHED and VACUMMED. Hey now! As long as we own these Hyundai's, this is the dealership where I will have them serviced

The bank specifically stated that they never received the required documents from the dealership. This is completely misleading when the bank confirmed that the dealership had not submitted the paperwork needed to process the payment. Excellent communication, service, and timely replies. I received a significant discount on the OTD price, even when including the BuySide Auto fee. On top of that, I NEVER had to step into a dealership, talk to a salesperson directly, spend hours playing the "let me ask my manager" game, or have to talk to a Finance manager and repeatedly say NO to unnecessary options. All communication was easily done through email and text, although phone and in-person contact was also available. Process starts with completing a convenient online request. From there, Kim contacted me to fully understand my wishlist, range of optional requirements, and any non-negotiables. After reaching out to their dealer network, within a day she provided a list of potential matches with estimated OTD prices, which included some in SoCal available for transfer to the Bay Area and cars still in production with estimated availability dates. I had a lot of questions and some requests and Kim was very responsive and instrumental in relaying them to the dealer and advocating for me. Even my request to remove all dealer installed options was negotiated by Kim and granted by the dealer with no hassle on my end. I paid the BuySide Auto fee to reserve the car for purchase and when the car was available I opted to pickup at their office in SF. Home delivery to SF is also currently no charge, while delivery outside of the city is available with a modest fee. Upon first contact, I asked if weekend pickup or delivery was available, since their normal hours are on weekdays. Kim made note of it and remembered my preference even after the sale was completed. Chris was able to make himself available for Saturday pickup! We took a walk around the car took a look inside. We spent no more than 10 minutes reviewing and signing paperwork, received my keys, and I was off with my brand new car!
