Apothecary is a great spot for a date night or drinks with friends. They have two distinct spaces:…read moreAlchemy, which has a cozy, intimate vibe, and Archive, which feels more like a stylish lounge. We visited Alchemy and loved the atmosphere. The service was excellent, and our server gave us some great recommendations throughout the evening. We tried the I Dream of Kiwi, Only Fans, and the Soft Serve Margarita. The first two were refreshing, fruity, and packed with flavor, while the Soft Serve Margarita was a fun twist on a classic. For food, we had the Caesar salad, beef cheek tacos, and the Apothecary Burger with the truffle fries upgrade. The Caesar was a little too heavy on the dressing for my taste, making it quite fishy, so I'd recommend asking for the dressing on the side or going light on it. The burger with truffle fries was easily a 9/10, and the beef cheek tacos were just as good--tender, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. One of the best parts is the happy hour offered every day until 6:30 PM, with all "Over the Counter" cocktails for $12 and 50% off food. It's one of the better happy hour deals in Dallas, especially considering the quality of the food, drinks, and overall experience. We'll definitely be back.

The staff was very inviting and I felt seen and talked to. I ordered: Icelandic hot dog: without happy hour price this would have been 7$. I would not recommend anyone order it at that price but for happy hour half off price, it was more reasonable. Scallop tostada thing: flavors were good. I think full price it was 6 or 8 dollars but for half price it was totally worth it and an interesting bite with food acidity Salmon dip: was gooey and huge and about 17$. I think the pieces of smoked salmon were a little too big for the chip. Pineapple dole whip drink: 12$ happy hour prices. It was Soo yummy and I loved the tajin on top and it was an alcoholic ice cream. Yumm Only fans: also a pretty good drink. Smooth but I would get the pineapple drink again. Overall great experience ,will come back to try some of the other menu items

Let me put you on to Double D's Bar in Dallas because this spot surprised me in the BEST way…read more I went during happy hour (5-8pm) and their signature cocktails were only $7, so of course I had two and my friend had two too Every single drink was freshly made and so damn good. Like, you can taste the difference. Whatever the cucumber drink was tasted like springtime in Ireland lol. Now let's talk about the vibe because BABY... from the outside, you would NEVER expect what's inside. You walk in and suddenly you're in a full-on 70s-inspired living room. I mean, the velvet-lined hallway and the beaded doorway *should've* been my warning, but nothing prepares you for it There's tons of seating too: comfy couches, chairs, tables, booths, it really feels like you're just hanging out at somebody's very cool house. They've even have a pool table, and right at 8pm an aggressively competitive Uno game breaks out, which was honestly hilarious to watch. This place is such a vibe. Fun, unique, and just different in the best way. 10/10. I'll definitely be back.

The comfy seats, neon lights and unique drinks make for an immaculate vibe. I got the sugar land summer and I really loved the vanilla foam. Thicker and tastier than any foam I've ever had, I want this again. The orange creamsicle part was a little bitter though. I really enjoyed my sweet surrender and would have ubered here instead to have another - the brown butter Bacardi and pecan was great. They cooked and left no crumbs.

Love the drink here, reminds me of Brazil so much. Omg the banana coquito was godly, keep up the amazing work! Usual underground party/low-key vibes here. Bring the matches back I say!

I've been here for multiple occasions, from dates to girls nights out and the service has never missed. Their staff has stayed consistent over the past year I've been going, and you can feel it in the quality and service. My go-to drink is the pornstar martini, and somehow it gets better every time. If you have the chance to go, GO --it's the kind of place that delivers on both vibe and experience.

The restaurant is pretty intimate and tables are close together, with additional seating outside. The service is super friendly and finds a great balance between checking on the table and letting the customers take their time to chat and look over the menu. I just wish our server mentioned there were additional drink menu options written over the bar, because I preferred those choices to what was on the menu! On the topic of cocktails, I tried the the nuit en rose spritz, the limoncello spritz as well as the pina colada spritz. They were all delicious, freshening and while the cocktails are definitely pricey, I thought there was enough alcohol in the drinks to make them worth it. For food, we ordered the honey truffle brie baguette, the frites, and the quiche of the day which happened to be goat cheese and spinach. WOW!! The baguette transported me to heaven, so good!! The truffle is strong though, so only order if you like that flavoring! Frites were crispy and easy to grab by the handful, definitely worth ordering and splitting with the whole table. The quiche was fresh and bouncy, and I was glad it was on offering since the regular quiche includes meat that can't be substituted out! Will definitely come back to this hidden gem!!
