Got the oolong milk tea with soybean cheese foam and loved it!!! I got it with 30% sugar and it was perfect sweetness. The taste is subtle so it's not overwhelming at all. They also have a bathroom which I appreciated! Nice staff as well and quick service! There are some tables and chairs to sit and chat, which I liked!

Arriving in the OC , this tea shop is a must visit. We got the Hand-Muddled Peach Oolong Lemon Tea and Peach Plum Jasmine Tea With Jelly. Peach Oolong Lemon Tea 8/10 With notes of peach and lemon with Oolong tea, this is a refreshing drink on a hot summer day. Be careful when selecting the full sugar amount (unless that is your preference) as it might taste too sweet with not that much peach with every sip. Peach Plum Jasmine Tea With Jelly 8/10 A smoothie that comes with jelly and pieces of fresh peach. Not too icy but definitely a refreshing blend of peach and plum. Sweet with some tangy notes from the plum! Quick service on a late afternoon on a Saturday and we waited 10 minutes from ordering to getting our drinks. Cute interior with some seating and tables. Unfortunately they don't have good AC :( There is also a shared parking lot but it can be hard to find parking.

Was in the area and wanted boba, so here we are! I got the Coconut Mango drink with boba! Other than waiting 20 minutes for my drink, the drink itself was great! Unfortunately when my boyfriend and I left our drinks in the car for 10 minutes, his drink melted through the cup into our cup holder :( I've never seen that happen with paper cups before until now. Not sure if I would come back for this, but it's nice to know there's a place if I am around. Hopefully the wait changes.

Was craving some boba (specifically a mango sago drink) while passing through Irvine so we decided to check TeaByDo out. For the mango sago drink, it's in the pricier end ($8) but they give a good amount of sago and the taste is quite solid. I do wish the mango were a bit more tart, but it probably depends on the batch they get. I chose less ice this time, but I recommend getting regular ice to keep the drink cold in every sip. Located in an Irvine plaza filled with late night places, TeaByDo is no exception. It's one of few boba places that are opened past midnight, and surprisingly even late at night, there are some waits. I went Saturday night at 11 pm and we waited about 25 minutes, but with the amount of food places open nearby, you can circumvent this wait so it's not that bad. Workers are also really nice! I got a peach oolong fresh milk tea. I really liked it, the peach oolong was fragrant and fruity which complimented the milk tea well. Would definitely come back to try their watermelon series for a late night drink!

This place is relatively new in Irvine and their specialty is the Mango Pomelo Sago and all for good reason. Came here with family on a weekend and was expecting a long wait but the staff are super fast and organize on preparing the drinks. They definitely get a lot of take out orders here. Since it was my first time, I got their main special. I really like how fresh the mango and pomelo are. A lot of other tea shops that serve this same drink have very bitter pomelo. Not talking about a slight bitter that's expected from the fruit but a jarring one that's unpleasant. Base on how the drink tastes, I think they source their fruits carefully. You can adjust the sweetness which is nice since a lot of places don't tend to let you adjust it for this drink. I think it might be due to the coconut milk, but here they let you. I've only tried the 100% since I always go for the default on the first try. It actually wasn't too sweet, I would liken it to 75% at other places. I can probably try 50% or 75% next time and see how it is. The interior is really bright and cute. There are some seats available but it definitely looks like it was designed to be a pick-up and go place like most new boba shops. The plaza it's in can be difficult to find parking, but if you don't mind walking a bit, there is more parking in the back of the lot (if you're not a fan of waiting for a parking space). All in all, I would come back again. I'm curious to try their other drink, but would definitely get their Mango Pomelo Sago again.

Kiosk are available for ordering convenience! My husband and I came around 9PM and it was pretty busy. We probably waited 15-20 mins for our drink. We ordered the Handmade Brown Sugar Pearl Tea with Taro Balls added on and Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie with Jelly. The Brown Sugar Pearl Tea was pretty strong in tea flavor which was great. The Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie with Jelly was amazing and refreshing! I usually do not like grape flavor stuff, but this surprised me a lot. If you're looking for tea and fruit blended into a smoothie, I would highly recommend this!

not the place to go if you want plain tea or milk tea. there was only one milk tea offering on the menu. price is similar to other shops. i got the milk tea with boba (no other options like plain black tea, jasmine tea, etc). it was just ok tasting, go to sunright if you want plain milk tea or tea. the only plain tea options were fruit flavored like lemon jasmine tea. the menu is quite small and mostly features fruity drinks. also weirdly you can't add boba to the lemon teas ? pretty loud inside with music blasting (quite standard for boba shops). read more

This was my first time visiting this ChaBaiDao, and the experience was even better than expected! I ordered one of their signature drinks; it was incredibly refreshing, with a perfect balance of tea and fruit flavors and just the right level of sweetness--not overpowering at all. The staff were friendly and efficient, and the drink looked visually appealing. If there was a zero star option, that would have been what I would have selected. Our team worked at the Boardwalk, which is right across the street and frequent this plaza multiple times each week for lunch. Upon grand opening we have frequent this new boba tea shop more than 5 times, the only time that we've got our drinks within a reasonable time is on May 28 (right before grand opening). All other times it took awhile for us to get our order(s), but that was fine given that the store was busy and our order was larger at those times (6-10 drinks). But today was the absolute worst, we placed the order from the kiosk/self-order in store and our order was completed around 3:11pm for one drink (the mango pomelo) and our number was 232. As we stood there, order 233-240 was called and we kept checking in to see if our order was ready, they say they are still making it, after about 20 minutes we got frustrated and just left without the drink and walked back to the office. Once we got back to the office we got the text at around 3:41pm that the drink we ordered 30 minutes ago is now ready. I understand if the store was busy, but there were only a few customers that was there when we were there. Furthermore, we tried to called the phone number that is listed on google and Yelp (949)738-3531 to let the store know to give our drink away as we had to leave to get back to work, but after multiple attempts, the phone line always went to a voicemail that is not even set up. Overall, this is not the kind of service that one would expect, especially if your pricing each drink $2-$3 more than drinks at other boba tea places down the street (TP Tea, Presotea). If you have 30-40 minutes to kill to wait on a drink order, than make your way here, but if you are wanting to pop in to order a drink and get it within 10-15 minutes max (considering most people lunch are 30mins to 1 hours), go down the street for the other two boba tea shops. We frequent this store since grand opening as it is literally across from our work building, but until mgmt get this wait time to an efficient/reasonable level and should work on order(s) based on when it is ordered (no reason why order numbers after our's was ready when our one drink order was not). Also, if there is a POS failure (which at times it does happens with newly opened store), but if a customer keeps checking in and asking as to why their order not ready when order numbers way down the line are already ready, someone should look into it instead of pushing those concerns to the side. Being that the shop locates in a plaza that are bordered by many large companies, meaning people are dropping by during their breaks and lunch, which are limited in mins/hour. Hope improvement is made so that we can have a better experience moving forwards. read more

I used to always get their gardenia fresh milk cuz I personally have no obsession with mango. Their gardenia has a very balanced taste between floral scent and tea base. And their recent launch peach series is also good too it's like a hidden gem. As you stand in line, they have a tea fragrance station, which i thought was cool. I wanted something decaf but they did not have any. I had the Guava Jasmine Citrus Teafresher. I really liked it. I got it half sweet. It had a little bit of pulp in it. The only thing i wish i had asked for, is less ice. They tend to put way too much ice in it. The 24oz was roughly $10 and i drained it in about 5 sips. LOL Good quality tea though, friendly service, refreshing beverages and reasonable prices. I recommend trying Chagee. Especially on a hot day.

A nice spot to get tea after shopping. The inside is modern with lots of seatings but it does get…read morebusy and crowded. The line gets a little long and the wait for the drinks could be a few minutes. There is an APP to order ahead of time to make it more convenient. The tea at regular sugar was still way too sweet for me, so I would suggest to modify the sugar when ordering.
