I've been a loyal customer of this place. Quality of boba is always great... soft on the outside with a chewy sweet center. And look at all the boba they put on my drink

We love this place and it's our go to for boba and espresso for the cute Corgi bottles. Service is fast and the boba is always flavorful and fresh. Good stuff! :)

My boyfriend and I were in the Monterey Park area and decided to get some boba on our way back home. This spot came up and we decided to give it a try. I had the Lychee Peach drink and my boyfriend had the honey lemon tea with boba. They were both delicious and served in a super cute cup. ( See Photo) The inside is quite small but, it's a great place to pick up some boba. Didn't have much of a wait which was nice. I would definitely be curious to try some of their other drinks.

my girlfriend and I wanted Boba while we were visiting in Southern California and came across tea brick. The service was also good since we ordered on a kiosk. The ambience was a sit down café to enjoy the snacks and Boba of tea brick

First time ! 5/5 Cups 5/5 Taste 5/5, very bold flavor Pride 5/5 for the cups you can more than reuse And it's designed n cute Great job!! We tried milk tea boba, super bold flavors from the black tea, almost a little too strong. As I'm typing this almost 11pm, fully awake from this tea. The milk balances it well. Sweetness just right. Boba chew level is perfect. Deserve every penny they charge

Did not get a greeting but I did hear them busy at work with other orders. There is a kiosk to order anyway sooo not a huge deal. I LOVE THE PLAYLIST, so fun! The Oolong Milk Tea was delicious and so was the taste of the Blueberry Madness Tea I stole from my boyfriend. Highly recommend this spot

    Thai Ice Tea with boba

First time checking out this place! I was in the area the ambience is chill modern, clean, K-pop music playing in the background. Employees were nice I would say it's a solid boba spot, but also Thai ice tea is also usually pretty "safe" I would say it was cool there were only like 2 other girls my age but the service was very fast after 5pm idk if it's always like that.

Been wanting to try this tea shop and it did not disappointment! The fruit teas and milk teas were both great! You can taste both the tea and fruit in the tea, neither one over powering the other it was rich in flavor. We ordered the Christine, Brown Sugar tea, Strawberry Snow milk, and taro. Teda had such great customer service. She really took the time to make us great recommendations and was very friendly. All customers who came were also friendly! A friendly environmental also draws in friendly people. We ordered near closing so really didn't stay very long. Can't wait to come back!

Tea Brick is a cute boba shop sandwiched between restaurants in a small plaza. Came here with family after dinner on a Saturday evening. Parking can kind of be tough here but there is an underground structure which makes it easier to find a spot. Upon entering, we were not greeted by a staff member and we noticed the cute dog mural near the entrance. There is an option to order at the self-ordering kiosk or with a staff member. We ordered at the kiosk, but a staff member was available to answer our questions on the menu. We ordered a Party Punch Tea, Dragon Ball, and Original Matchamisu Milk Tea. All drinks were ordered with a bottle instead of a cup and with 50% sweetness. The current bottle is super cute with Corgis on it with a small upcharge. Our drinks came out quickly and were all solid. The Party Punch Tea was more milky than expected but it was still good. The Dragon Ball was light and refreshing with a balanced flavor with the fruit in it. Overall, giving Tea Brick a 5/5. The drinks are good, the interior is cute and quiet which could make it an option to hang out or study/work. The prices including the bottles were reasonable. Would come back just for the bottles. Would recommend to anyone looking for a boba spot.

Do the fruit smoothies have added sugar?

Yes, but they give you the option of choosing the level of sweetness. They give you that option for all their drinks.

What's in a mojito and snow bomb?

both are soda based, mojito has lime juice and mint leaves. soda bomb has ice cream

Are the plastic cups here BPA free? Also, is there a discount if I bring back the cup to reuse?

Don't think they are BPA free. Not sure if there's a discount for reusing the cup.

No. During covid, they said they will not let you bring your own cup nor their reusable plastic bottles.

They don't specifically have "keto" drinks, but I am sure you can ask them to make/customize a drink on their current menu for you that is keto-friendly (depending on what you want and don't want in it).

My usual order is mango oolong with grass jelly, which is still sweet enough for me at 0% sweetness. They take the tea seriously here - each cup is brewed upon ordering so it's not fast. They also have some cute twine to go around the top of the cup. The sizes are on the smaller side. They open at noon, so I've been too early to get something a few times. Heading back to LA again this week, I will probably end up here again at some point!

An Honest Review of "Chicha San Chen" in Los Angeles As…read moresomeone who values culinary quality and the finer details of life, I always enjoy exploring diverse food and beverage establishments. However, my visit today to "Chicha San Chen" in Alhambra, Los Angeles, resulted in an incredibly disappointing--and frankly, failing--customer experience. Beneath its over-packaging and fame from Taiwan, this establishment fails severely in fundamental customer service and care. Company Policy Over Customer Health The most baffling aspect is their insistence on prioritizing "company policy" over customer health! What I found most unacceptable during this experience was the store's arrogant attitude toward health and environmental requests. I prefer drinking hot tea. It is well known that commercial paper or plastic cups rely on chemical linings to prevent leaks. When exposed to high-temperature liquids, these cups can easily release microplastics and harmful chemicals, posing a potential threat to human health. Because of this, despite my fatigue, I walked all the way back to my car under the hot sun to fetch my own stainless steel thermos, fully expecting to enjoy a cup of hot tea in the safest and most environmentally friendly way. To my surprise, when I made the perfectly reasonable request to have the freshly brewed hot tea poured directly into my thermos, I was met with a cold refusal from the staff. Citing a rigid "company policy," they insisted that the scalding hot tea must first be poured into their disposable cup, handed to me, and then I would have to transfer it into my thermos myself. This absurd operational logic not only entirely defeats the purpose of bringing a reusable cup but also ensures that the high-temperature tea still comes into contact with the chemical coating, directly threatening consumer health. When I tried to reason with them from a health perspective, all I received was an uncompromising, utterly indifferent refusal. Left with no choice, I canceled my hot tea order. The business philosophy of a restaurant that refuses to respect its customers' basic health needs and lacks any flexibility is truly hard to commend. Soulless Service and Artificial Flavors Their service devoid of warmth and mediocre flavors make one realize that their reputation is merely a façade. The soul of the food and beverage industry lies in "people" and "flavor," yet this store performs poorly in both regards. First is the service attitude. The staff throughout the store acted like machines executing commands; there were absolutely no smiles on their faces, nor could I feel any warmth or hospitality. In a modern dining environment that values the art of hospitality, this icy service demeanor is highly uncomfortable. Second, not wanting to ruin the mood, I tasted the iced tea ordered by my family members. I initially thought a brand that prides itself on refinement would showcase the true depth of its tea leaves. Instead, upon tasting it, I found a distinct artificial taste in the flavoring that completely masked the natural, sweet aftertaste the tea should possess. For anyone who truly understands tea and cares about flavor, this is absolutely unacceptable. Overhyped Atmosphere Lastly, I must mention their interior design. Many Taiwanese chain tea shops of this kind advertise their spatial design as elegant, comfortable, and perfect for gatherings or romantic dates. In reality, the overall environment of this store felt incredibly ordinary and stiff. It completely lacked the premium feel they boast about, let alone any sense of romance or comfort. Conclusion A successful food and beverage brand can never be sustained solely by superficial marketing or rigid SOPs. When a store loses its respect for customer health and environmental consciousness, while simultaneously failing to provide sincere service, professional explanations, or natural and pure flavors, it has lost its core value to establish a foothold in the culinary world. This experience at "Chicha San Chen" was undoubtedly a massive letdown and deeply regrettable.
