First time to this place and we had mixed feelings but enough that we will be back to give it another chance. Server was quick, attentive, and honest which we love. We got there about 6 on Friday so available for happy hour which was a $1 off drafts but $2.50 well drinks... yup $2.50, not $2.50 off... so that was wild haha. Kids pizza was great and they loved the fries however the kids chicken tenders and Mac and cheese are adult like so the kids did not care for that. I was excited for the beet salad but did not care for it. Feta was an odd swap, dressing was off, and beets didn't have much flavor but lettuce was fresh so maybe a different salad some time. The salmon dinner was just ok. Looked good but my husband said every third bite was randomly salty. Like the seasoning was distributed randomly making parts of the rice, veggies, or meat in edible. Nice place. Easy decor. Love the outdoor patio with both covered and uncovered seating. I was there with a large group and our service was good. Got pizza and some simple apps. Pizza was very good. I will go back and check it out without a big group soon. read more

The highlights for us at this place are the risotto cakes, tavern chicken, Mac and cheese, pulled pork, cold beer, and good drinks. It's usually busy but the wait staff is friendly and helpful. We decided to try this place when looking for something different on date night. It didn't disappoint. We were lucky to get seated right away. Our server was nice and friendly. We ordered the BLT and brisket Mac and cheese. Both were really good. The BLT had plenty of bacon and the Mac and cheese was a serving size for two meals. The cheese sauce was not too thick and the brisket had a slightly sweet taste. Overall, everything was great. We are already looking forward to going back again and try more menu items. read more

Maybe I have just outgrown the Bainbridge food scene, but I found this place to be very average. If you have been in Bainbridge a while, then you'll know that this used to be a Panini's, and it is basically the same place with less greasy food. Even some of the servers/bartenders were the same people! Overall, was definitely a tavern in NE Ohio. The menu is a lot of sandwiches and a few entrees. I think they also have a big identifier via cupcakes for dessert, but was expecting more oomph than a normal cupcake I could make at home. My Brussels sprouts were also extremely salty, however my mom also got them and enjoyed them. I got to try the fries, and they seemed pretty good as well. All in all, if I lived around Bainbridge sure, I would go here, but it's definitely not my favorite place and I'm not dying to go again. read more

Big fan of elevated casual. Large and excellent menu. Love the chicken sandwich and they have great fries plus they'll customize. Salads are excellent and dressings homemade and tasty. Got take out from Tavern 6 tonight. Unfortunately, the food was so mediocre that I will not be returning. I asked if they had a buffalo chicken sandwich and they said they could make one (was excited - how accommodating!) It was bland, cold and it lacked sauce. The fried brussels sprouts (an up-charge to order this as your side, otherwise, you get chips) were flavorless and completely soaked in oil. My husband got the chicken Philly and described it as "below adequate". Seems like a lively bar so if you go, I'd skip the food and just do drinks. read more

First impression- Real loud. Tavern people talking loud, plus 4. Only ten tables full. Yes, I'm getting old but I couldn't hear my wife three feet away to my left. No music, either, just people noise. Food was good to great; but I only got a Cobb salad so it's not like I challenged the culinary prowess of the place. Hard boiled eggs seemed to be perfect, haha! Hummus was not food-service grade ( meaning, they actually make it!) and very good, and veggies for dipping were hand- cut. Could it actually be that they make food from ingredients that they have to prepare and make? Seems that way! We'll be back to test the kitchen's abilities, but an overall good experience. read more

This was our first time at Tavern Six. The brisket mac and cheese was great. The wings and cauliflower were delicious. Service was excellent. Every person there did not hesitate to help even if we were not there table. Have never experienced that at any restaurant. Open area is living and a great family atmosphere but not overly loud. Was there yesterday evening around 5pm. Wasn't very busy and was seated promptly. My son and his fiance joined me. We ordered the pretzel sticks and potato skins. Both were very good. The skins came with sour cream and the sticks came with ranch,honey mustard sauce and a cheddar cream cheese dip. My son and fiance had the tavern burger and breakfast burger I had the Cuban. The burgers and sandwich come with hand cut chips and my son ordered the fries. We all agreed that everything tasted good and was a good choice for dinner. Our service was tremendous The waitress was polite and personable. I apologize for not remembering her name. But I noticed that all the servers were very attentive and worked well as a team. This place is great! We use yelp a lot and generally think the reviews are accurate but for what I would call silly reasons this place has lower reviews than they should. We have 4 little kids and they love going here. Both the adult and kids meals are delicious with plenty of variety and things to choose from. Every time we have gone it seems packed from the amount of cars in the parking lot, but the place is bigger than you.think on the inside and have never had an issue getting a table. They really did a great job dress it up a bit on the inside from what the old paninis was. Can't wait to go back. read more

I give this place maybe 2 months max. Words can't express how lousy it was every item we ate was dried out and tasteless except for the fried items that tasted like old oil that was sitting around and dripping in oil. Wouldn't recommend but not sure if it matters as it won't be open much longer. Such a shame how these places go down hill so fast after they open. I was craving winking lizard after eating here. We couldn't find a parking spot at lunchtime in downtown Chagrin Falls so we decided to try Tavern Six for lunch instead and it was a mistake. The server was fine but it smelled of old grease in the restaurant, like a dirty fryer. I got the fish sandwich and my husband got the cheeseburger cooked medium. My fish looked dark/golden like it was over cooked so I cut the sandwich in half to check before I bit in to it.. The center didn't look done at all, very wet looking and the fish looked like it had just overcome its frozen state. I stuck my finger in it to check the temp and it was lukewarm at best. My husbands burger was not medium, it was well done and the toppings were laid on the plate in a puddle of water from something and the bun just laid on top so the bun was soggy. Otherwise both buns seemed like they were stale. We sent my fish sandwich back, and I really didn't want anything else the kitchen had to offer. They did take it off the bill. My husband took one bite of his cheeseburger and didn't want anymore but we did pay for his because we felt badly about sticking them with the cost of 2 meals that weren't eaten. We decided to try d/t Chagrin again, we did find parking and had a wonderful lunch at JoJo's! Needless to say we will not be returning to Tavern Six. read more

Wonderful addition to chagrin falls, an affordable dining experience. The black bean burger was delicious and the Mac and cheese side was definitely house made. The hand cut fries and chicken Philly was hot and fresh. The bar is loud just as at the previous Panini restaurant but it is a small and open place so that is to be expected. The service was professional and friendly. I would definitely go back because the menu is extensive and I would like to try more things. The plates are long and skinny so fries tend to spill over. If I could change one thing it would be the plate design. They aren't big enough for the food. This is definitely a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
