Stopped in to grab a to-go lunch. They had several prepared sandwiches in one of their display cases. Store was Nicely laid out and with a stop in. I had the Franco salad with a house dressing g which I enjoyed. I also had a muffuletta sandwich. I really enjoyed that too on a hard crusted but soft inside roll. This is NOT the traditional bread this sandwich is served on, but was an excellent option in my preference. The olive spread was also less definitive in this version. Bookmarked this place for a future visit in the near future

I love this place! Anytime I am in solon I will be sure to stop here from now on. So many options like pasta, sides, pizza, desserts, cake, gelato. Sooo many options and it all tastes incredible. Highly recommend.

Muffuletta: very fresh, needed more spread, bread was hard and cracked the roof of my mouth Meatball sub: meatballs were flavorful, bread was soft, and it was cheesy Pasta: no complaints on the pasta, I didn't have it though Gelato: you just can't go wrong with this Pizza: Phenomenal. Must try. Food here is solid and affordable. Definitely should check out at least once.

I'm in this area often, yet I never knew there was an Alesci's nearby. This is a combination Italian grocery, coffee bar, deli, pizzeria and bakery. You can dine in or carry out. There are lots of ready made items for a quick and delicious meal. We picked up the broccoli and cheese stuffed chicken breasts and green beans almondine. I popped them into the oven and 15 minutes later we had a terrific dinner. The grocery area is smaller than a typical Alesci's but still there were lots of fun items. (Glad to find a place that carries Tiberino pasta, their pesto Genovese is delicious!) They have a small, but interesting selection of Italian wines. I picked up a nice Sicilian red. While shopping we enjoyed a couple of espressos from their coffee bar and some nice Italian cookies--which were fresh, not like the dried out overpriced cookies you find in other stores. I didn't try the bread but it looked great and they were selling a lot of it. They also offer catering and boxed lunches. Glad I found this place!

They have quite a few food options here. Pretty much all Italian and subs. There was some quiche to. The reason they lost 2 stars because the staff was not friendly at all. The woman who served food, chicken fillets and sausage, etc. was completely unfriendly and abrupt. it definitely made me not want to come back even if they had amazing food. She didn't explain to me how the charge was by the way because I ordered pork sausage, and I would like to have a few more peppers on it then 2. I was buying for a group of people so I asked the cashier if they had plates and I got the abrupt answer of yes, but you have to pay for them so this isn't a good place to come if you are buying for large groups of people because like most places, give you silverware and plates. You have to pay for your plates. Parking is easy. Prices for the bakery stuff is very expensive. A small piece of tiramisu or lemon cake was over five dollars a piece.

The cutlets with no sauce or anything.

$3.29 for a cold single square of traditional pizza... heat not included. Take out a loan if you're planning to lunch here...

Exactly what you want from your local market and eatery. The staff are very helpful and this is my kids favorite place to eat.

Under new ownership, Clara and her team have brought a whole new energy to D&R. From the moment I walked in, everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely excited to have me there. Customer service like this is becoming rare, and it really stood out. One thing that surprised me was the size of the space. The photos online made it look like a tiny hole-in-the-wall bagel shop, but it's actually much larger than expected with plenty of seating. Even though it was busy and crowded during my visit, the line moved quickly and efficiently. As for the food, I came hungry. I tried the Korean BBQ on a sesame bagel, corned beef with mustard on an everything bagel flat, The Kyle on a blueberry bagel, a jalapeño bagel with cream cheese, and a pretzel bagel with cream cheese. I also sampled the buffalo chicken wrap, a hot coffee, and a caramel macchiato. The Korean BBQ was easily one of the most unique bagel sandwiches I've had and a standout menu item. Everything tasted fresh, portions were generous, and there are plenty of creative options you won't find at your average bagel shop. I've seen older reviews mention a lack of coffee options, but that's no longer the case. The coffee menu has been expanded, and the Iced caramel macchiato was a pleasant surprise! I also loved how they had Pepsi AND Coca-Cola PLUS Snapple! If you haven't visited since the ownership change, it's worth giving D&R another shot. The combination of friendly service, creative menu options, great coffee, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it feel like a completely reimagined local favorite. At the owner's recommendation, I tried the Korean BBQ beef on a sesame bagel, and it was a fantastic choice!! The savory, flavorful beef paired perfectly with the fresh bagel, creating a sandwich that was both unique and satisfying. I also had the jalapeño bagel, which was soft, fresh, and packed with just the right amount of heat. It's clear they're putting a lot of care into both their bagels and their menu. They make their own cream cheese and there is no shortage of amazing flavors! D&R Bagels is one of my new favorite spots

A bit later I got an email from a third party that I was VERIFIED! Yeah baby, take me to the subs! No. I entered the sub I wanted, was apparently forced to select a 3 dollar beverage that I don't really want. Was force to pick out a bag of chips which, I also don't especially want. I was only trying to get 2 5 inch sized sandwiches. Tried to pay. The system that verified me wouldn't allow me to log in. I really thought I was going to be able to order online, but it didn't work out. The thing is, I live a couple of minutes up the road for the past like 8 years and haven't ever gone in there or ordered. I did try ordering in person a few weeks ago, walked in and the employees were having a grand old time, heck I thought, this will be quick, stood over in front of the register and started waiting. I waited awhile. Guy at table looked to be enjoying his meal. Still waiting. Employees engaged in a jovial conversation. I waited in front of the cash register. Waited a little while more. Left. Two strikes DiBella, can't order online, can't order in person. I'm going to try sending a postcard. That'll work.

This is a good sandwich and beats most sandwich shops hands down. The rest is where it fails. The dining area tends to be dirty. Tables are not wiped off and it's not kept clean. The service is OK. No one is outstanding or really personable. They help you and make your sandwich but no one is really friendly or has good energy. They are just there. And most importantly the ingredients in the sandwich don't go to the edge of the sandwich. They leave at least 1/2 inch on either end empty and there is nothing. Make it edge to edge. I want to bite into an end and get ingredients, not just bread. Middle full ends empty. I'll still go here. I like the subs but little things are not followed through. Fix those and this is outstanding.
