Morning cup of Joe

Whenever I travel I like to have breakfast at old school diners and Chicago Deli is an old school diner. First impression was that the servers were super friendly which is very important because they can make or break your business. I also have a thing for chicken fried steak and Chicago Deli's is probably the best I've had. It was super moist and tender and the gravy was perfect. I will return for this dish.

The Mish Mosh Soup is amazing!! Plenty to share with two people. I love bring new faces to Chicago Deli and introducing them to all the great food.

Turkey Club with Bacon with fries

The restaurant was very clean. I went there for lunch. I ordered the turkey club sandwich with a side of fries. They food was very tasty. If I would do anything differently, I would order a side of chips instead of fries. The service was very good . They waitress was very attentive. She kept coming back making sure everything was ok . Anytime I am in the mood for a deli style sandwich , I will consider Chicago deli

Friendly waitress, happy child

The food is always amazing, the service excellent, clean, friendly atmosphere, caters to kids. Full menu, no matter the time of day.

Pastrami and corned beef

My favorite pastrami in northeast Ohio. That's enough for me to come back. Last time o had the pastrami and corned beef sandwich and ended up getting three m Al's from that sandwich. Service was good: quick and friendly.

Removed onions from chicken noodle soup

First time here. Seems very busy but they keep it moving. Large to go orders going out. Short wait for a table. Huge bowl of chicken noodle soup. Good but too many onions for us. Corned beef was outstanding! They say it is the best. Steak fries were good - no salt, but you can add what you want. Vegetable medley was good - just the right crisp! The California BLT was good. I skipped the ranch. Sorry ranch lovers, but if you have to add ranch I would rather skip it. Love the grilled wrap. So much bacon!!! Staff was moving quickly! Signed up for their rewards. We plan to return! Did not try them but check out the cakes if you stop by! They look great.

Only fair. Not like an authentic Jewish deli because it is not Jewish. The food was so so. Not good enough for me to return

Ended up at Taza for an early dinner on a Sunday. The place was pretty quiet, so it was nice to be…read moreable to relax and chat with my group. Our table had the baba and dawali appetizers, and then beef kafta, shawarma plate, and shish kebabs for dinner. I also had a cocktail - I think the blue paloma. My drink was good, not particularly special but not bad. Next time I would probably just go for a glass of wine. The food however was excellent. 10 out of 10. My kafta was exceptionally flavorful, and the vegetables still had plenty of bite to them. My mom and sister felt similarly about their meals. The appetizers were delicious as well, especially the dawali, and we appreciated the za'atar oil served with the fresh pitas. I am a visitor in Cleveland. I normally try not to go to chains when I'm traveling, but I'm so glad I broke my rule. I wanted to come back and we were only here for a couple days. Highly recommend!

First of all...the workers there are incredibly nice and helpful. The restaurant is very beautiful…read moreand cozy even though I'd only popped in to grab my take out order. And it smelled so good in there... BUT having said that... The food was SO disappointing. I ordered the Lamb Rolled Pita and the Hummus. (See attached photo) of the lamb I could NOT eat. I was so bummed. I was really looking forward to that. Also, I asked for cucumbers be subbed for the tomatoes. The tomatoes were gone which was great, but there were NO cucumbers. ALSO, the menu says that the rolled sandwiches come with fries. (see attached photo) Mine did not. Bummed. It came with this like lemon couscous that I didn't like at all and didn't eat. (see attached photo) So, basically, I only had mostly pita to eat from the sandwich and the hummus. (which was good). Honestly, if there wasn't so much of the lamb that wasn't edible, I wouldn't have posted a review at all despite the fries and the cucumbers being wrong/missed. Very disappointing because this meal supposed to be like a treat.
