Wanted to rate higher because it is a cute place and good service but based on my food choices it was disappointing. Ordered a sfogliatelle and a cappuccino. The sfogliatelle was very pretty but the dough was very crunchy. Dipping pieces of it in my cappuccino helped a little. The dense filling was tasty but tasted more like orange than cardamom flavored. The cappuccino was just ok. I drink it with no sugar and rely on a good strong espresso for the flavor and it wasn't there. Hubby enjoyed his mocha. You can add whip cream for .75 cents. He gave his almond danish a 4 out of 5. The pastas and other prepared foods looked really good so i may want to come back for those instead on another visit. Also they don't post any prices which i find odd. Our coffee and pastries for 2 was $24.

We always look forward to going to Presti's when we visit Cleveland. It's very well priced, has a wide variety of menu and dessert items, and the food is just so dang good. It's always busy, even during random times during the week day. It does feel chaotic there, but that's what every other Italian deli feels like. I do feel that there is a lack of signage of the menu items, but it isn't a deal breaker. I also appreciate their packaging is compostable and biodegradable. I cannot wait until the next time I can go back!

TAKE A NUMBER or you'll get cut in line. You can get cookies by weight or pastries individually priced. Cappuccino in the porcelain dine in option is the best. Ample seating and large area. I got the chicken parmigiana sandwich and it was tasty. Seemed fresh. Pastries were very good. The Linzer cookies were perfect. Cheese danish was super cheesy! Id come back.

Caveat: I went early and encountered no line. Highly recommend! When I went back later, the line was nearly out the door (around lunch), so I just walked on. But in the early morning, this place was a treat! At the counter, a lady took my order: cannoli, an apricot thumbprint cookie, and an americano. Just right! I'm no expert, but the cannoli was the best I've had this side of the Atlantic. So many American cannoli are fried to all hell. Impossible to cut, chewable with effort. A bit like an Italian fried ice cream. This one, in Cleveland? Soft. Tender. Rich, elegant cream. Enjoyed alongside the americano, it was heavenly.

The desserts were great from prestis! In my opinion their cannolis are better than corbo's. The service is slow and I don't think they have a great system with the tickets. They do have a lot of seating though!

Wow what a hidden gem (if at least you're an out of town guest). Came here at the recommendation of a local friend and it delivered. Came in for breakfast, had a croissant sandwich with a cinnamon role and a cappuccino to drink. Everything was so delicious. Staff was very friendly and had good suggestions. Really liked the outdoor patio. Perfect way to spend the morning!

This is the best bakery in Little Italy. The choices are overwhelming, but trust me, that is the best problem to have. You cannot make a bad choice here. Their linzers are amazing, along with the cream puffs, and almond puffs. Lemon bar is more sweet, and cake like, but very good.We visit the Cleveland Clinic regularly, and try to make it to the bakery every chance we get. We went to the other bakery across the street the last time we were here, and took home a box of cookies. They were not as good as Presti's and I ended up throwing most of them away. My kids, who I brought the box of cookies home for, said they weren't as good as Presti's and didn't eat more than a bite or two.

I'd probably give this experience a 3.5, but normally it'd be a 4. The desserts were good but not their usual caliber. The cookie wasn't as soft as usual and the carrot cake was lacking flavor and a tad dry. The best dessert was the pastry filled with custard. The wait time was over 30 minutes and felt very congested. The highlight was the music being played right outside where they had a few tables.

Got the tiramisu after my meal in little Italy. It was very delicious! There weren't too many people there when I went so the service was very quick. As for the tiramisu, they did not skimp on the coffee soak with the ladyfingers which I feel like most bakeries and commercial stores do. The mascarpone was super light and tasty. This truly tasted homemade and I would 100% go back!

It was a special treat to stop by after lunch and get some coconut macaroons. I had never been there. We didn't wait in line long after picking a number. It was a touch choice to pick one delicious pastry when everything looks good. The atmosphere was very chill.

What isn't there to love about presti's! Whether you visit in the summer, sitting street side or in the winter bundled up inside the bakery, there is never a wrong time to pull a ticket and wait your turn. The array of cookies, by the pound or just a few, will blow your mind. Everything is fresh, house made and authentic. The counter staff are knowledgeable and patient, especially when you cannot decide between gelato or a coconut bar. So when in little Italy, go to Presti's and order a lemon bar, cappuccino or a slice pizza you will never be disappointed.

I'm from out of state and we got there around 10:30am and it was quiet on a Tuesday morning. The people greet you when they call out your number (I guess it gets so busy you have to take a ticket number.) they were very helpful of what they recommend at the bakery. The food was super delicious and fresh! The day was nice so we ate outside and the tables were clean. Would definitely recommend and will be visiting again if I go to Cleveland one more time.

I stopped in today for a cup of morning coffee but walked away with my hands full. I got iced coffee which came in a smaller than I wanted cup. I also got mushroom latte which was perfectly spiced with cinnamon, and very smooth. I selected almond milk and feel like it paired well with the ingredients. Also I had to have some baked goodies after looking at the bakery case. I ordered croissant which honestly I found to be not fresh but still good. Apricot tea cake in the perfect world deserves its own paragraph. It was delicious, generously filled, and everything a tea cake should be. It's a must have! Service here is phenomenal! I mean top notch, attentive, and very genuine. There was only one employee serving the line but she did it with such a level of positivity that it made my morning. She asked if baked goodies needed to be warmed, asked about drink carriers, milk preferences, everything. She was consistently friendly with all customers. I really applaud this cafe on having such warm and friendly service. I wish more workers were in this morning to attend to the line but the service was incredible. As far as the cafe layout and amenities, here's the scoop. The cafe has wine, beer, coffee, and breakfast/lunch grab and go's. They have a coffee club where you get your own tumbler and you can join for $20. They also have plants for sale on a display much like Phoenix coffee. They also have a printer that you can use to print things. I don't know about you but I always feel like I need to print things. I mean it. The cafe has indoor and outdoor seating, was quiet when I was there and is somewhere you can really focus and do your most meaningful work. I also like the separation from the counter to the seating portion that makes it more secluded. I could totally see myself sitting here all day outside and enjoying the sunshine. Overall, if you have wine or caffeine needs, stop by this cafe. It's an unexpected gem of Larchmere. Order mushroom latte, it's a unique local find and is very tasty. Lastly, the cafe seems to have many regulars. One of the customers said "it's always a joy to be here" to cafe employee. That's exactly how it felt here - joyful.

Tucked in Coventry neighborhood, there's Phoenix Coffee. The first thing you notice walking in is the vibe -- warm exposed brick walls, quirky and ever-changing local art (currently fairytale motif), and the smell of seriously strong, seriously good coffee. The Siren Eclipse art on the wall is alone worth the visit. And the scones? Unreal. Flaky, buttery, and somehow always fresh out of the oven. Really probably the best around. There's also other breakfast snacks like muffins and such. Very limited options but very tasty. Bonus points for the greenery -- the place doubles as a mini plant shop. There's a few leafy ones you can pick up. I got large drip coffee while I was there and it perfectly strong. There's two size options, light or dark roast. The menu also features some seasonal favorites. I had recently spring matcha there that was so vibrantly green. There's also a pretty extensive tea assortment. For warmer months, consider seating outside. They have very fun and aesthetically pleasing wooden benches. Street parking is available in the area but it gets busy. Try parking garage on the street to park. It's free to use.

All-time favorites for me will remain the waffle (any option with the cookie butter, like the paradise or Brasilliene), and the Karak chai. Their karak chai is always piping hot (definitely at risk of burning your tongue if you drink it too fast ). It's a newish and long awaited cafe added to the Cleveland Heights dining scene. The cafe is located in the old BD's Mongolian Grill's space (no permanent signage just yet), prior to that it was Arabica. Euro Wafel has been around for a while in Cleveland at various markets and at the University Circle before arriving to the Heights. Euro Wafel creates a safe, late-night, alcohol-free experience. It's an interesting fusion of Belgian Liege waffles, French crepes, and Middle Eastern (Emirati) beverages. The cafe seems to be a work in progress. It's very casual, has pleasant light blue hues (furniture), couch, innovative lightings plenty of space for solo or group visits. The fireplace in the middle is kind of awkward but perhaps it will be used during colder seasons. Quiet music (French and Arabic) fills the space. There are big windows that make watching the rain outside very relaxing. During my visit most guests were younger crowd, all seemed to be regulars. It was steady customer flow considering it was after 9 PM on a weekday. Street parking is available in the area. Your most convenient option is to park in the Coventry parking lot across the street (free). Service was very attentive, the owner friendly and providing personalized attention to all customers. Your experience starts once you scan QR code with the menu, then you pay, pick a table, and wait for your order. The orders are up pretty quickly. Most guests chose to dine in tonight. So did I. Karak Chai: I love to sip different ethnic teas and coffees. And so, Karak chai (pronounced kah-rak with the emphasis on "rak") was an immediate "yasss!" The owner said that the recipe is his mother's. It's a traditional Emirati dessert chai. He said that the spices are a secret, but I picked up on cardamom and condensed milk. Traditionally, I read that saffron is also added. The tea was on the sweeter side, very tasty. It was lukewarm when I ordered it. Since I drink scorching hot beverages, I would have loved to try a hot version. I'll ask for it next time. The chai is pretty popular, many guests ordered it. Their website states that guests can also ask for a free sample/sip. Other options include refreshers, lattes, and matcha. Waffle: Waffle choices all looked good both by description and when they were presented to customers. I sat close to the counter and watched them all be handed to customers. By the way, each choice on the menu can be served as a waffle or as a crepe. I ordered The Celine with berry compote, vanilla butter cream, and vanilla ice cream. The waffle was very good, considerably better than any other similar waffle destination in the city. Compote was so flavorful, contained huge berries, and really tasted homemade. I was a huge fan of this compote and bet it would even be better on a crepe. The waffle was overwhelmingly sweet. Mixing waffle with Karak was definitely not the best choice, it was too sugary. Next time I'll order the two separately. I spent $19 something on the entire order. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience. It was low key, welcoming, and flavorful. I would have loved to see definitive hours when this place is open. Various websites list different times, they seem to change (check before you venture out). I also would have loved to see some savory menu options like perhaps crepes with cheese and meats, fish, or other creations. I feel like I'd visit more often given some variety and savory options.
