If you don't know, quail is a small bird-like chick size. It was tender with a hint of smokiness. The corn was bursting with flavor! We also ordered lamb lollipops. Yummmm. You get two "lollipops" on top of mashed potatoes with a sauce. It was the perfect combination of comfort and highbrow. The strawberry basil drink I ordered reminds me of Alize. So good. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The Grouper itself was superbly and lightly breaded, and was soft and DELICIOUS..... however, I thought the Aoili sauce drizzle was too spicey. My side was the creamed corn -- they raved about it. It was "nice", flavorful but I liked the fish best. We then ordered dessert. It was Baklava. They said they make it onsite with people from Greece. I have had a lot of Baklava and I've never had it this way. It featured a 2" thick, dense square. I've never seen it this thick - it's usually light and flowery-breaking as you eat it. Can't dislike honey and nuts and pastry, but I'd say my preference is thin and flaky type Baklava.
